  It's been a week since Pit has fled pony ville and things had gone back to normal. Well as normal as ponyville usually is. I was helping Flutters with the animals when she made a suggestion that froze me to the core.
"Star, can we go see my parents?" She asked in her soft tone almost whispering. I was almost afraid to agree to it but she looked at me with her pleading eyes. I couldn't say no to that face.
"Sure" I said which caused her to hug me tight.
"Oh thank you so much. I just can't wait for them to meet you." She said in a happier voice than I ever heard her speak in. I managed to smile despite knowing the truth about her parents. How was I gonna tell her?
Later that day
We were on the taxi to Cloudsdale. I still didn't tell her yet. She looked so excited for me to meet her parents. Should I tell her before we get there?
We had landed in front of a small house that seemed to have been well taken care of. Obviously to attract new inhabitants. We exited the cab. I payed the driver as he took off to continue his job. It was the moment of truth. Fluttershy would now find out about her parents.
From Fluttershy's POV
Fluttershy entered the house expecting to see her parents at the table in the dining room. All she saw there was a note.
She began to tremble upon remembering her dream. She approached the table and read the note:
"Dear Fluttershy,

If you are reading this, you must have flown here to visit to your parents. However it is my job as coroner to inform you of the fact that they have been killed in a terrible fire at the factory. I could not find out where you lived so I decided to leave a note here where you could find it. I give you my sincerest apologies for having to let you no this way, but they are in a better place now.
Sincerely-Rotted Corpse aka The Coroner"
Fluttershy fell to the floor and began weeping in despair. "I'm all alone" she thought "There is no one left"
Never had a more hopeless pegasis that ever walked on clouds existed at that moment. She cried so much that it would put Neighagra Falls to shame. She had lost everything at that moment.
She then felt a comforting hoof on her shoulder. She looked to see star holding her close as he said "I'm so sorry"
Fluttershy then hugged him tight realizing that she wasn't alone. She had Star there to comfort her when she needed him.
"Let's go home" said Fluttershy as they stood up and left the home.
To this day the only things that were left in that house is a crumpled note and a tear stained rug.
