“Spike!? Is that really you? What happened?” I don’t know why I asked him that because by the way he was looking at me, it seemed as if he didn’t know at all. “Spike … What happened?” I asked him once more. He just roared and swung at me. “Whoa!” I ducked just in time. “This clearly isn’t going anywhere … Spike! Listen to me! Stop this right now! You don’t know what could happen if you do this!” He swung at me again, but this time, he aimed for my legs. I managed to jump up in time again. “Spike, please stop! All of Equestria will be in terrible danger if you do this!”
He swung his tail at me, and I managed to dodge it again. “This isn’t going anywhere!” I snapped my fingers to materialize a stone wall in between us, and I took off. “This can’t be happening! Why is Spike the dragon?” As I was running, I noticed the walls changed from stone bricks, to leaves. “What?” I kept on running, but came to the same split two other times. “Wait a minute … I have wings!” I started to flex my wings getting ready to take off, but then I heard someone.
“Oh haha, I forgot!” It was Pitch Black. He appeared on a screen that he was able to conjure up. “You can’t use your wings for this game,” He raised his hand in the air, and moved his hand in twists and turns. Then I looked back, and my wings disappeared.
“What the-“
“Oh, and one more thing,” He looked at me, and looked back at him. “No teleporting either! Haha!” He disappeared as fast as he appeared, and I continued the maze. Since I lost Spike back there, I was able to take my time looking for a way out. I kept taking lefts and rights in this labyrinth, until I came to a dead end. “Oh come on!” I turned back to head the other way, but a wall of leaves grew from the ground. “What’s going on now?” I saw Pitch Black …again.
“Looks like you reached a dead end there Sam,”
“Gee, really?”
“Haha, don’t worry. I’ll help you out,” He waved his hand, and I heard walls moving around me. Then he lowered his hand and the wall that grew disappeared. “There you go, now continue, Oh and just for a bit more fun … I placed some traps in this maze as well. Good Luck Sam, oh wait … you’ll be dead before you even get to the end! Haha!” He disappeared again. Now not only is Spike the dragon after me, now he switched up the maze, and he placed traps! As I was walking, I felt like I stepped on a button on the floor. I looked down to see a button there, “Well shit …” The floor opened up and I feel in some black goo. I tried to get out, but the more I struggled, the more it was sucking me in. “Crap! It’s tar!” I tried to stay still thinking of a way out. Then I saw a small branch sticking out of the wall. “Aha!” I snapped my fingers to make the branch bigger and stronger. I wrapped my tail around it, and then I heard a roar.
I looked back, and saw Spike “Oh come on!” I tried to pull myself up with all my might. Spike was getting closer with every second, and I was getting more scared with every inch Spike gets closer to me. I managed to pull myself out, but Spike was already swinging at me. I was so shocked at how fast he was swinging that I forgot to duck, but I came to my senses and dodged right in time. I ran farther up the path, and turned around. “Sorry Spike,” I aimed my finger at Spike, and shot a light beam that temporarily disables his sight. I ran as fast as I could to get out of his line of sight before his vision was restored. I turned my head back, and heard him roar again. That roar sent a shiver down my spine, and it gave me goosebumps. I really should’ve looked where I was going, because I slammed right on one of the walls. “Ow …” I was surprised the wall was that hard. I got up and moved some of the leaves and vines, and found the stone brick wall again “Oh …” I managed to escape another trap, but hurt my ankle while in the process. I was walking along the path, and tripped across this string, and heard a clanking and chopping noise. I saw a huge log falling towards me. I got up in time, and jumped over it, but it managed to get my foot, and I wasn’t able to walk for a while. I was limping now, but the good thing was that I found the end right after that. “Yes finally!” I was right about to escape, then I saw Pitch Black come out of the back of the exit.
“Not in my house,” He said waving his finger. He snapped them, and then the exit disappeared.
“What the-“ This guy was getting on my nerves. First he changed the amount of cuts to instantly losing if Spike touches me. Then he takes my wings, and my ability to teleport. Then he changed the maze when I reached a dead end. Then he sets traps, and finally he moves around the maze right when I almost escaped! I couldn’t take it anymore! I heard that roar again “Wow, this day just keeps getting better and better …” I turned around to see an enraged Spike. I materialized an iron club and swung it at Spike “I’m sorry Spike. But I have do this!” But Spike knocked out of my hands before I could even land it on him. I was surprised, but I just spawned another weapon. This time, an axe. I swung it at Spike, and managed to cut him a bit, but that just made him even angrier. He chomped off the top of the axe, and swallowed it! Then he swung his claws at me again, but this time … I wasn’t so lucky. I went flying to the wall, and slammed against it. I fell to the ground and felt my cheek. I felt three cuts on it.
“No!” I got up and snapped my fingers to materialize another wall, but Spike went over it this time! I stared to run away from him again. I just put all of Equestria in danger the moment Spike scratched me! My friends, Twilight, Rainbow Dash, and especially, Pinkie! I kept on running, with Spike right behind me. I noticed a break in the wall. I thought it was another split, but when I got closer, I noticed it was the end! I started to run even faster to get to the end before Spike got me. I also noticed Pitch Black pacing a bit. He was too busy to notice me, so I took this opportunity to escape. Pitch Black turned and saw me.
“You are not leavin-“ I cut him off by running right past him right when he was about to rearrange the maze again. He disappeared into an arrange of shadows again, and rearanged in front of me. “Well…” he started “Looks like he touched you. Not only touched you, but downright scratched you! Does it hurt?” He asked with a smile.
“I lost huh?” I hanged my head waiting for his answer.
“Oh big time” He snapped his fingers, and then I felt strange. My body was starting to shake. My claws began to grow sharper, and longer. My rage that was building up inside me was being released. I saw a couple of gold braces growing out of my leg. Pitch Black snapped his fingers again, and then a black coat with a red trim materialized on me, and silk pants. Then I felt bags under my eyes. He pointed to my feet and a pair of black shoes appeared there. I looked at him, then at myself. He just gave me a grin, and opened a portal.
“My work here is done” He went through the portal, and disappeared. The symbol that was replacing one of my pupils shone, and I went completely insane.
I was beaten …
When I awoke from my insanity, I was sitting on a throne of some sorts, and Celestia and Luna in a cage to my left. When I looked to the right I saw a glass stained window with Celestia and Luna being beaten by a monster with two golden braces coming out of its right leg, and its grin was bloodcurdling. I looked down to my legs, and there I saw two golden braces on my right leg ...
"What have I done?!"
