The Prophecy of the Mad Hatter

And let it be so, so must it be,
That he shall be made flesh, the Emperor of Nothing,
Darkness given form, in which a cold heart rings,
As he defines himself by that which he never wanted to be.

And when it is so, the balance will rise vicariously,
Light shines and faith comes, given form and substance,
The Light will be pure, giving both shackles and second chances,
But faith is a child, and children often love too vicariously.

And a third will be born from these two's rivalry,
He will bring order to chaos, a Hatter who rules the Mad,
In the background he'll move, through the good and the bad,
He cares, but he is scared of his brothers' rivalry.

For good and evil shall be siblings side-by-side,
They are one in the same, their goals reflections in the mirror,
Even their methods shall reflect: corrupt-to-save those that fear,
But too late they'll understand they're each other's other side.

Chaos will try and help both sides rediscover lucidity,
Who wants the best for his brothers, but sides with neither;
Between his brothers he sits, born of others but half of either,
There madness forms a balance to balance out order's lucidity.

Sibling chaos must lead the way, find the path to set all free,
After his brothers both die and leave the cycle in disarray,
But the Hatter must be given a reason to mend what is frayed,
To stand up to what can hurt him when all he desires is to be free.

Only when darkness becomes light, heaven-hell and hell-heaven,
When Wonderland is broken and imagination bleeds,
Only when light betrays darkness, can be sown chaos' seeds,
When all the souls sing out, from heaven-hell and hell-heaven:

glory be! glory be!

Then will the Mad Hatter fulfill this self-fulfilling prophecy.
