“Luna? Where for art thou Luna?” inquired a tired Celestia. It was just about time for Luna to bring up the Moon, but Luna was nowhere to be found. She was usually in her chambers playing those new-fangled videos games that have recently become popular.

Luna had always been the tech savvy of the two princesses. The northern wall of her room had been converted into full HD-3D video display. She only had the highest quality speakers lining the corners of her room. With the rapid growth of technology, Luna had to keep upgrading. She was a big burden on the national budget. They deficit so large the next several decades had little to no money.

On Luna’s desk sat a paper after paper on her studies of frame data for fighting games, guides for her console games, a new VRMMO by the name of Nexus Valkyria, and strategies she used for her RTS games. Celestia took a liking to these RTS strategies; she frequently used them on the actual battlefield. Also on her desk deceptively sat her desktop. On the outside it looked like the average, run of the mill PC. This was aesthetic. The walls of her room were especially thick and the room next to Luna’s was unoccupied. Luna had built herself the planet’s most powerful super computer, 235.09 yottaFLOP. Basically, her room was a big futuristic mess.

Luna was nowhere to be seen, Celestia could not find her dear sister. Out of the corner of her eye, Celestia noticed the wall screen was on. This wall was dedicated to her desktop and there was a small notification for a chat request. The chat request was from Luna. Celestia recounted that Luna had just integrated a voice command option into her room’s user interface.

“Open message.” commanded Celestia. A video message had opened up, it was luna, But she looked human.

“Dear sister, I hope you are reading this. I am inside a Virtual world, being held against my own will,” stated the humanly Luna, “I need your help, I need you rift to the virtual world of Nexus Valkyria with the BinOcculus. No pony in this world can escape this world unless I am free. To do so, you must take my data, and bring me to the central server, which connects all video games so I can manifest as a pony again. After this message has concluded, rift into the game, and in your inventory will be more instructions.”

Celestia was very hesitant to rift, and left the room to think about it. She sent her elite flying force, the Wonderbolts, all over the equestrian landscape to search for the missing princess. Each team of Wonderbolts reported to not being able to find any trace of Luna. Finally Celestia decided to check the interweb for news. An Article caught her eye.

“One week after release of MMO, thousands of ponies trapped in game, nopony can log out but anypony may enter.” Read the article. Ponies had been sent to the hospital and put into pods to sustain life all across the nation in an effort to keep them alive, and a group of three hundred elite gamers have come together in order to beat the game. So far 20 have died due to dying in game. That night Celestia had to raise the moon once more, much to her displeasure.
Over the course of Three weeks, Wonderbolts searched high and low for Princess Luna. The first week was a failure. They found no trace of the missing princess. The second week, Celestia’s attendant suggested she check online for Luna. Celestia put her down and continued the search. That week they found nothing. The third week had come, and there still was no trace of the Luna until Spitfire came in with some news. She had run into an otaku who was obsessed from Luna. Celestia looked at him in disgust, as he walked in and strapped to him was a life size Luna plush in a bunny outfit.

“Hello… uhm sir what news do you have of my sister Luna” questioned Celestia.

“First let me say that I love your sister, and I wish to meet her upon giving you this information.” declared the otaku. Celestia reluctantly agreed, and the Otaku informed her that Luna is the key to saving everypony. Some pony who worked on the project said that if the game is beaten, everypony will perish. They only method of freeing everypony was to find Luna and have her beat the game. As a fail-safe, if anypony tried to interfere with the game in the physical world, everypony would die.
Celestia knew she couldn’t go into this world, as her duties of Princess were too great. Only she could find Luna. The public was misinformed that beating the game was the way to free everypony, but it was not so. Celestia came to the decision that she must enter the world and inform everyone in the game. Celestia then took the necessary preparations.

“My most faithful student, I am in need of your assistance. It is of an important matter, please come to Canterlot at one.”
Celestia sent the letter. A few Minutes later, in flew princess Twilight Sparkle.

“I got here as fast as my wings could take me” huffed the exhausted Twilight, falling onto her back. Celestia explained the situation to her student, and then appointed her student as the Ruler of Equestria until she got back, with much uneasiness. Twilight’s eyes grew wide, her pupils dilated and she grinned wide.

”Don’t worry, Princess. I will take good care of Equestria until your return.” stated Twilight confidently.
Celestia made her way to Luna room, and on her bed was a BinOcculus. Celestia lay down on her sister’s bed with Nurses and doctors ready to maintain her body while she was in the game. They fitted the device over Clestia’s head and activated.
Celestia quickly fell asleep and was transferred to a hud zone. A text box appeared in front of her and informed her of how to begin the game.

“Link start!” yelled Celestia.

She appeared in the world, and the AI had informed her that her account had already been created, and all it needed was her own password. Up came a login screen, and in the username box was a name that had haunted Celestia for all her life, SunnyButt. She facehoofed herself, and typed in a password. She stared at the Login button. She knew she wouldn’t be able to leave once she logged in, but it was for Luna’s sake. She pressed the button and awoke in a world of flying cars, robots everywhere, and most prominently was several towers she could see in the distance. They all held together a giant ring around the planet. Celestia didn’t know what to do; she did not read the instruction manual. All around her were ponies in the form of humans staring at her while she paniced. She had forgotten that she was a human, and looked down.

“What the buck are these?!?” she inquired at her breast, and began examining them. She commenced to… freak out some more and finally noticed everyone staring at her. She was a human. Celestia awkwardly ran off several miles until her virtual body could take no more. She had never experienced fatigue before, so she did what her instincts told her, sit and rest. Out of the darkness of the alley came severl men. They immediately recognized who she was because of her hair color.

“Oh my… Hey boys, look who it is,” sneered a man clad in plates as he grabbed Celestia by the hair, “it’s our lovely Princess. She looks beautiful doesn’t she?”

“What is it that you want? Let go of me” shouted Celestia uneasily.

“You May not know who we are, but you have done us a great wrong in the real world, so it’s time for some pay back, Right boys?” screamed the mysterious man.

“Yes boss!” replied his group.

“Let go of me!” screamed Celestia vainly. She was in tears, she was human, but she knew what was about to happen. The leader punched her stomach to keep her from resisting. Celestia did not move, she had lost too much energy and was left unable incapacitated. The man grabbed Celestia by the throat, opened her mouth and gave her a long French kiss, tore off her clothes, and threw her onto the street stark naked and vulnerable. The men approached her as her vision faded. She heard several bangs, and felt a liquid cover her body. She finally passed out.

Celestia had awoken in a room, an inn. She was in bed and covered in blood. She sat up and at the window was a woman with light-greyish cyan hair with white highlights and covered in mech armor.

“Are you ok my princes?” politely asked the woman, “You do not need to worry about those men. I took care of them.”

Celestia took a good look at the arm of the woman, and there was the insignia of Elite Gamer Corp.

“I am fine, thank you…uhm…” replied Celestia.

“Just call me Heartstrings.”
