Irvine chuckles. "Hey, I am not talking about what happened last night, okay?" I said as Jess exited my Red Horn. "Hey, hey there is the possibly pregnant Zoid pilot now." Alex laughs earning a slap on the head from Maya."What was that for?" "That was for being a jerk." Maya said as I sat down. Jess soon came over to us and sat down in my lap. "Well, I guess that unspoken rule about mercenaries not getting intimate with with their partners, is bogus." Fiona says walking up to the camp fire. That's only for mercenaries that are 18 and older." I laugh giving Jess a peck on the cheek. "If you say so." Fiona says as Dr.D walks over to us "Hey, the next time your two make love, could you do it less loudly I barely got any sleep last night." Dr.D yells for the whole camp to hear.. "Jeez, Doc. I don't think they quite heard you on the dark continent of Nyx." I snapped at the old man. "Hey, it's not my fault that your Red Horn, isn't sound proof." Dr.D says walking off, only to be replaced by Colonel Schubaltz. "Danny, Irvine follow me please." The Colonel says causing me to get up, inadvertently dumping Jess onto the ground. "Danny!" Jess fumes, as Irvine and I sprint towards the Colonel. "So Colonel, what do you want us to do?" Irvine asks as we reach his Mecha Kong. "We need you two to go to the nearby town, and ask for directions to Canterlot." The Colonel says "Wait, what?! What about that map Dr.D made?" I scream. "It is not accurate, we need either a guide or a real map." Colonel Schubaltz says entering the Mecha Kong, after pointing to the direction of the town. "Well, let's rock." Irvine says walking in the direction of the town. "Hey." I said running after Irvine, "That's my line." ----0---- "What do you mean we are going back to Canterlot?" Twilight said as guards began loading gear into a train. "Canterlot is the next target for the creatures." Shining said, "Apparently they are going to attempt to take some of the artifacts that were recently excavated from the ruins nearby. One of them called itself an Ancient Zoidian, and that the archeologists were defiling the resting place of its people." "So all the creatures want are the artifacts?" Twilight says confused. "It would appear so." Shining says boarding the train, "Now let's go, we have to get the defenses of Canterlot ready." ----0---- "Hey Danny, I'm sorry to ask this, but what happened the day City of Wind was attacked?" Irvine said as we walked down a path. "Well." I sighed, "It started out just like any other day. Maya, Alex, Jess, and I were about to head our separate ways for the day, and head to each of our jobs. That was when we heard we heard the first explosion, then we saw Heldigunners, Molgas, and Rev Raptors. Alex suggested that we try and get to the Godos that we used for wind turbine repair, but at that moment we saw my supervisor, James, piloting one of them. He tried to take on one of the Rev Raptors, but they ganged up on him, so we ran. We ended up running back to my house, but when we got back it was too late. My family was either dead, or kidnapped, we knew because as we neared my house several Rev Raptors walked out of a large hole in the house. The only reason we stayed in the city for as long as we did was so that everyone else could check up on their families, but it was the same everywhere we went. Later we were wandering with only a days worth of supplies, then Alex suggested that we go into this cave that was nearby. When we went in, we discovered a Republic supply depot that had captured Guylos Zoids, as well as Helic Zoids, awaiting, surprisingly they still worked, so we took them without asking." I said frowning remembering the tragedy that happened that day. "I know how you feel man." Irvine says as they near a town "Alright, lets try not to kill the locals, okay Irvine?" I smile "No promises." "I expected as much." I sigh "We should split up to cover more ground." "Sounds good to me." ----0---- "Thank you." I said handing the store keep some monies that i "acquired" from some helpful griffons in exchange for a atlas of the planet. As I walk outside i see a group of griffins forming a circle around something, as i got closer to the circle i saw a griffin fighting a taller figure, "Zi damn it, Irvine." I said making my way into the circle "Hey Danny.' Irvine says dodging an attack from the griffin "I said not to kill the locals." "Actually, you said to try and not kill the locals.' "They are basically the same thing!" "No, there is a difference." Irvine says as he knocks out the griffin "Who is the boss?!" "You are under arrest!" Two uniformed griffons bark as they enter the circle and slap cuffs on the Irvine. "Woah, woah! What am i being arrested for?!" "Assault, and attempted robbery!" They yell as they lead him away. "Shit." Danny said putting the Atlas into his pack ----0---- "Your highness, we have reports of the monsters in the border region to the north of Canterlot." Shining Armor reports to Celestia. "Can we mobilize our armies?" Celestia asks "That would be unwise,since Canterlot is their likely target we need to keep as many soldiers here as possible." "Very Well, you are dismissed." ----0---- "Honestly i can't believe you almost killed the ambassador to the Zebra kingdoms." I said as we walked out of the griffin jail "Well, he started it. HE hit me when i accidentally spilled his drink." Irvine says rubbing his wrists "That is not what 25 witnesses said." I sigh as we leave the town "So, you and Jess." Irvine said changing the subject, "Did you guys wear protection?" "Condoms are not part of standard military supplies." I said. The following hour long walk back to camp was a silent one. ----0---- "So I take it that you were successful in your mission?" Colonel Schubaltz asks as we enter the Hammer Head. "yep, and Irvine only got arrested once." I said placing the atlas i bought on the table. "Ah, very good." Dr.D says examing the book "By the way, Jess is pregnant." 'W-w-w-w-what?" I said as the blod drained from my face "Hahahahahah! You should have seen the look on your face, but we won't know the results until we get back to ZI." Dr.D laughs "I hate you." I walked out of the Hammer Head and back to the Red Horn to catch up on some Zs. ----0---- "Great another crazy dream.' I thought to myself as i found myself in what looks like a prison "Move it worm!" A creature that look much similar to a Zebra pushed what looked like a girl around the same age as Rudolph, who i easily recognized even in sorry state, Marian, the fianceé of Rudolph.
