The quiet had swept across the room, it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop, none of the ponies had an idea how to respond to what princess Luna had said, even Pinkie, who was bouncing around with excitement to see all of her best friends in the world, had lost her party demeanor and was sitting with her tail between her legs. Twilight looked as if she was going to explode, her face now represented that of fear, pure fear, the kind of fear when you were a child and left alone in your house for the first time, she shuddered, "Princess Luna, what exactly are we looking at here?" Luna was as afraid as she was, though there was one thing in her expression that no other pony had shone, hurt, she obviously knew of the dark future that was ahead if the Nightmares got a hold of Celestia and what'd they use her body to do to the world. "Twilight Sparkle, if we do not stop the Nightmares before they take control of my sister, they will start by using her to murder me, and the castle guards, ten she'll begin to destroy Canterlot, but she won't stop there, she'll go for Ponyville, killing everyone there, staining the pavement in crimson, crumbling buildings, and ripping it from the earth, then she'll continue until all of Equestria, and the world is destroyed..." the Ponies all stared at their princess in shock, terror, and sadness, now knowing that such a wonderful, kind, loveable, princess would be the bringer of Armageddon, death and dismay, and the sworn enemy of pony kind. No, no this wouldn't be the work of their princess, this would be the work of a creature that had sucked the life from her, and used her hollow shell to do their bidding, Twilight and her friends knew what their mission was, to destroy the Nightmares before it began.
"Luna, I think me and all of the girls agree, we are willing to do anything to stop Celestia's fall into the dark pits of the Nightmares, so what shall we do to help her?"
"Princess Twilight Sparkle, you are to be flown to the moon, along with your friends, I however will not be joining you, for 1. I need to watch over my sister, and 2. I can not return to the moon, for the nightmares will attempt to destroy me," and with that Luna trotted out of the room to leave the girls to discuss what their plan of action was. Twilight began to cry, it seemed as if her whole world was crashing around her, her mentor whom she had loved, was going to become an unstoppable killing machine, and there wasn't a single thing she could do about it, Seeing their friend crying her friends went up to comfort the purple princess pony. Applejack spoke up,
"Twi, were going to the moon to do whatever it takes to stop the take over, and we'll stop at nothing to kill these hideous creatures." now it was Rainbow Dash,
"Yeah, we'll be able to stop the Nightmare's again, after all we have our elements, AND my awesomeness on our side," She got a smirk on her face,
"Yeah Dashie's right, we'll stop those nightmare's for celestia!" agreed the pink pony as she bounced around with excitement. Little did they know, that in the royal Bedroom of Celestia, she was beginning to lose the war against her nightmares, drifting into a restless coma, she repeats only one set of phrases, "Luna, I love, Luna, my sister, Luna."
