Chapter 7 – Maybe I could...
You slowly open your eyes as you take in a deep breath, but it takes you a few seconds to blink your eyes back into focus as you look around. Only once you bring your mind and eyes back to the world around you...you stop as you try to take in the sight.
You know the area around you is the bottom of the library, but as you turn your head around it nothing looks like it should. The windows around it are gone, the bookshelves, tables, staircase and even the door is absent leaving nothing but the shape of the room and the color of the wood to place you.
But your confusion is only brought further to you as a soft lipsy voice comes behind you, "...Human dreams are very bland...we have always wonder why."
You turn your head to the voice as you look over the stern faced dark blue mare with flowing light and dark night shaded mane. You squint to her words as you talk, "What do you mean dream? I’m asleep right now?"
Luna doesn't answer you as she holds her stare to you, "...We believe human dreams are so bland because of the mind. Your mind is filled with so many questions...some you don't know the answer to...some you can't remember and other questions you know the answer to but refuse it."
You close your mouth to Luna as her voice stops.
But the complete silence doesn't last long as she nods her head, "We believe you should just let your mind be free and calm."
You swallow back your voice as you speak out in a low tone, "Luna...am I dead?"
She gives a slight smile as she looks you over, but her comment is nothing like her expression as she talks, "The element of harmony latched onto the different form of magic you possess and drained you until you it was charged."
You sway a little to the words as you feel a queasiness to your stomach.
Luna lose her smile a little as her coment runs on, "The amount of magic that has been taken from you can never truly be replaced. However Star Swirl’s spell was not just one spell."
You hold yourself steady as you shake your head to her not understanding what she means.
Luna holds another sweet smile as she talks, "Even though you have been lifeless for seven hours two minutes and one second you have not truly passed on."
The uneasiness in your stomach becomes a little too much as you lean against a wall.
Luna cocks her head as she talks, "Are you feeling ok?"
You shake your head with a slight laugh as you talks, "I-I just didn't know you timed me."
The dark mare gives a slight laugh as she listens to you finish your comment, you bring your eyes to her as you pause, "Is Twilight and Violet ok?"
Luna nods her head as she talks, "...And so are you."
To your confused stare she continues, "Our sister was able to sustain you when you broke Twilight free of the spell, Celestia was no longer worried about harming Twilight when the spell was broken. You have been asleep since the spell broke, this is why I have been sent to check on you.”
You get a slight smile as you nod your head.
But Luna's happy tone doesn't stay as she continues, "...I will never truly understand why our sister has allowed a human to stay in Equestria, nor will I understand why she has allowed you to do the things that you have done..." Her voice stops as she looks you over, "But, as I have learned in my life some questions are better left forever unanswered."
At the end of her words the room around you starts to collapse, you quickly turn your head around not knowing what to do but you keep your eyes to the dark mare's soft smile as you watch the area around you disappear.

As the dream or whatever you just had ends you move your eyes to the lavender mare sitting next to the bed you currently reside in. But the lavender unicorn that your so use to seeing is absent as you look over the sprawled out wings that resemble Celestia's or Luna's, "Twilight?"
The lavender mare moves focusing her shifty eyes to you as she talks, but the happy or sweet voice you were hoping to meet is absent as you listen to her angry tone, "Celestia told me what you did...it was reckless, foolish and...d-dumb..." Her voice breaks up as she lunges her hoof around you. Her loud sobs pound against your ears as she tries to complete whatever speech she had planned.
You close your eyes as you bring your hooves from the bed and wrap them around her, Twilight's loud sobs in your right ear have sparked your own emotion as you nuzzle your snout through her mane as you whisper to her ear through your own sobs, "SshSShh...i'm alright...i'm alright...."
Her voice is shakey as she grabs hold of you tighter, "N-no you're not."
You spilt your eyes open a little as you blink a few tears from your eyes, "I'm here...so thats all I care about..."
Another voice comes to the room as you open your eyes a little more to the ponies crowding the doorway, but your eyes set to the tall white mare as she speaks up, "There was a slight problem with pulling you from the element of harmony."
Twilight moves her grasp from you a little as you listen to Celestia, "As you can see the element of harmony's magic is strong...so strong Twilight was even transformed into an alicorn because of it’s magic."
You look over Twilight with a slight smile as her red puffy tear filled eyes stay focused on you.
"...But pulling you back from it's power even with Star Swirl’s completed spell was not an easy task...even for me."
You shift your eyes back to her as you wait for her pause to end, "...Your magic has become unstable and if you use any rigorous spell even on accident you will run the risk of falling into a magically induced coma in which no pony or spell could bring you out of, or worse."
You blink to the comment as you nod your head, but Celestia doesn't finished as she continues, "...With an unstable magic in you, along with this and the spell that currently holds your pony form I truly do not know how the magic has affected you...But I strongly believe staying away from any strenuous spells should maintain a balanced magic."
Her voice loses its seriousness as she lowers her head a little, "...However for right now you are fine."
You get a slight smile to the tall white mare's words, your slight anger to her is not even truly being held in your mind at the moment as you try to understand everything that you've been told...but at the same time you still don't look at the powerful pony the same anymore, at the same time these thoughts roll through you nod your head to her as you talk, "So...stop dieing right?"
A slight laugh rolls through you but you don't follow it as your muscles tighten a little to it.
Twilight rubs her hoof to yours as her still shaky voice comes to you, "Y-you need to rest."
You nod your head but you keep your eyes to the door as you watch Celestia step aside as Rainbow comes into the room still with the light purple filly, the cyan mare holds a calm smile to you as she comes over to the bed and sets the little filly down next to you.
Violet's eyes are puffy and red like Twilight's and the little filly waste no time as the mare puts her to the bed as she tries to bury her head to you. You hold your emotion back as best you can as you rub to her head to calm her down, "It's alright Violet..."
Rainbow's eyes are a little watery to the scene as she holds her soft smile to you two before she turns to Twilight and trots back out of the room.
As the cyan mare exits through the crowd of ponies that gather to the door Rarity speaks up, "W-we will be down stairs Twilight."
You don't watch them leave as you keep your eyes pinned to the light purple filly that has her tiny front legs wrapped as far around as she can not wanting to let go.
Twilight's still watery eyes leave you two as her voice goes to Celestia-Princess...is there a way you can revert what the elements of harmony did to me?"
Celestia blinks to the comment as she talks, "W-why yes, but Twilight everything I have tasked you with was to help you for when you would become a Princess yourself...And I believe that time has come."
Twilight nods her head as she shifts her eyes back towards you two, "...Maybe another Twilight could live forever and watch time go by..." She turns back to Celestia as she finishes, "...But everything you've taught me is that life, friends and family is more important than anything."
The tall white mare nods her head as she gives a smile, "Of course Twilight...I would never want you to deal with something that has made you unhappy."
You think over the comment with a little bit of annoyance, but at the sametime you realize you might not be holding this sad filly in your grasp right now if it wasn't for that divine do nothing...
Celestia's horn glows a bright chiming gold as she talks to Twilight, "Twilight, I want you to know this will not affect my opinion of you at all...you have learned more than I have ever hoped to teach you, and I believe you still have so much more you can offer even after this spell."
Twilight nods her head as she closes her eyes, "Thank you Princess..." Twilight's figure is shrouded in a dark gold light and cut from view for a few seconds as the loud chime rings through the room...the sound does bring a slight uncomfortable chill in you, but it ends just as the light around the lavender mare becomes absent.
The large lavender wings that once sat onto her back no longer remain as she turns back towards you. You give a slight smile to her as you continue to rub to the little filly’s head still pressed against you.
"...I'll be leaving now Twilight." Celestia's eyes move to you as she speaks up one last time, "...I know you have some resentment towards me, and I know you can't understand why I have let things happen the way they have..." Her eyes shift between you and Twilight as her voice becomes a little more serious, "But I want both of you to know, with the elements of harmony once again to their full power Equestria should have nothing to fear...nor should either of you."
Celestia doesn't wait for an answer as she trots out of the room, you move your eyes back to the lavender mare as she gets closer to the bed. Her eyes are still a little puffy and red as she bends her head to you with a kiss, "...Promise me you won't do something like that again? I-I don't want to see you hurt."
You think over her words for a moment as you look over her watery and red puffy eyes...you have always hated to see her cry and it has always pained you for you to be the reason because of it...but you give a slight smile to her as you ignore her request, "...I promise you and Violet... that neither of you will ever get hurt."
