chapter 5 – Rainbowshy

The bright bakery style room around you of Sugarcube corner comes into your vision as your spell ends, everypony that you teleported is caught a little off guard by the sudden change in area but their confusion...at least for Twilight doesn't last long as she turns to you with an almost angry face.

Your ears ring a little and you feel almost like you're going to be sick with the swirling of magic that still runs under your coat making you shiver a little but you listen to the mare's rushed words as she talks, "How could you do that! You know you don't practice teleporting spells, you're going to get yourself hurt."

You push through your own uneasy feelings as you listen to her comment no longer really caring what she has to say, she may be an element of harmony and some divine student for Celestia...but to you she's still somepony your not going to sit back and watch hurt herself over her own ambition to continue this seemingly pointless quest shes started for herself instead of just waiting for Celestia.

At your silence she moves close as she extends her hoof to you, "You just teleported not just one pony but four ponies across Ponyville, you need to rest."

You shake your head as you talk a little out of breath, "I'm fine, do what you need to."

Not a moment after your words another slightly older feminine voice comes to your ears as Twilight turns her head to a very light and bright blue mare with pink and light pink mane, her eyes roll over the group of ponies that have just teleported in a little confused as she talks, "Pinkie? Twilight? Girls what's going on here?"

Pinkie speaks up to the mare as she answer, "Mrs.Cake what's going on? WellIthinkthatsomekindof-..." Rarity moves her hoof over Pinkie's mouth before she can continues as she nods to Twilight, "I think Twilight should explain it."

The mare moves her eyes towards her as Twilight gives a slight sigh, "The elements of harmony have switched around everypony's cutie marks and i'm putting them back together..."

You lean a little to a nearby table as you listen to Twilight going down a brief run down, but its quickly brought to its end as Mrs.Cake nods her head and points her hoof, "Well thats a good thing, Fluttershy has been in here all day trying to entertain ponies...But the poor dear is just not really use to it." Her eyes move to Pinkie as she talks, "...W-where were you again?"

Twilight pulls on Pinkie as she talks, "Sorry Mrs.Cake but it's kind of important its done soon." Her purple gaze moves to Pinkie as Mrs.Cake looks on still not understand what's going on.

Rarity follows after them as you slowly start to bring your shaky legs to trot you forward. Your body still shakes a little from the overload of magic you used but you're able to push it aside as you follow after the three mares into the next room.

The main room of Sugarcube corner has always been kind of a weird place, seeing as how the wood of the building has been carved in places to look like frosting...or so you think, but your eyes don't stay on the room or the empty seats around it as you bring them to a small group of mostly mare's and young foals watching the female yellow pegasus trying to tie a balloon animal.

But none of the onlookers look impressed and instead hold a slight confused stare to the quite pegasus talking so low they can't even hear her. Fluttershy's face says it all though as her stage fright eyes shrink to her forced smile, "...Ta dah."

You three move a little closer towards the group as you watch Fluttershy give the weird shaped balloon animal to a small pale pink filly standing in front of her, the voice is an annoying high pitched whine that strikes you a little familiar as you listen to it, "Thats not a dog! It's ugly."

But you drift your head back to Twilight as she stands next to you with her head turned to the smiling pink pony next to her, "Ok Pinkie just go and do what you do and send Fluttershy over here."

Pinkie brings her hoof to her head as she does an almost salute motion, "Yes sir ma'am sir!" At the end of her sentence she darts next to Fluttershy as she slightly pushes the yellow mare aside and whispers something to her.

But the pink pony doesn't stay quiet for long as her energetic voice comes back to the small group of ponies in front of her. You don't really listen to it though as you watch the yellow pegasus trotting towards where you, Rarity and Twilight stand.

Fluttershy's cutie mark is the same as Pinkie's but her normal low and quiet voice holds as she speaks up, but her eyes are shift and even you can tell she’s hating life, "Um...Pinkie said you wanted clown shoes? Um...But I don't have any."

Twilight pulls her  friend a little closer as she talks, "Fluttershy you know you don't want to be doing this, you hate performing in front of others and you know you don't like meeting new ponies."

The yellow pegasus is quite for a moment as she stares to Twilight's words with a gasped mouth, but your growing thoughts that this one might be easy is lost as she talks, "...But it's what i'm supposed to do...even if..." Her words start to become shaky as she continues, "...I have to meet new ponies and and..." Her voice raises but it still holds its sweet tone as her eyes go wide to Twilight while her hoofs wrap around her and lightly shake her, "I hate this I-I just want to go home and and play with my animal friends...oh Twilight can you help me?"

You hold a slight smile to Fluttershy's rushed voice, you know she has to be feeling terrible but if thats her yelling voice than its more cute than really powerful.

Twilight moves her friends hoof to the ground as she talks, "Yes, there you go Fluttershy." Her horn glows a faint purple as another element of harmony is floated from the bag and wrapped around Fluttershy's neck."

The tightness in your stomach comes back a little as you watch the crown that has sat on Twilight's head all day sparking up in it's purple white glow, but she doesn't seemed fazed at all...or shes doing a good job of pushing through it as she closes her eyes and follows through her spell.

Even though the spell has become shorter every time she does it you watch her over more carefully now as she moves her head back and breaks the spell that encased Fluttershy's head like the others.

Fluttershy moves her hoof to her chest as she looks to her normal cutie mark, but her stance doesn't last long as she quickly rushes to Twilight with a hug, her wings sprawl out wide as she holds her friend, "Oh thank you thank you thank you." But her hug quickly is broke by herself as Fluttershy takes herself from her, "Sorry...to tight?"

Twilight gives a slight giggle as she shakes her head and takes in a deep slightly shaky breath.

Pinkie comes back to the group as she talks, "Ok, these ponies are ballooned."

You squint to her words as you turn your head back to the small group of ponies and foals she left, but your answer to her words comes clear as you look over a life sized balloon pony standing in front of the group.

But your gaze shifts back to Twilight as you hear a low chime coming from her, you give her a hard stare as you start to build your own magic to yourself, but your thoughts about Fluttershy's house that you barely have any memory of keep you from completing the spell as you try to push the spell along.

Twilight's now slightly tired eyes lay on you as she smiles “okay lets do it together?"

A wave of almost relief comes over you as her words hit you, you nod your head as you listen to her counting down, "One...Two...thre-..."

The words ring around the room as the group vanishes with a low chime left to Sugarcube corner.

The swirling purple and rush of wind that have always followed a teleportation spell has become something all too familiar today, but with a loud resonating poof you along with everypony else now stand at the last place...Or at least you hope it's the last place you'll have to go to today.

Despite you and Twilight both doing the spell you can't help but feel the more than subtle reminder of how  daunting the spell really was as you feel the magic swirling under your coat.

But you hold your own as you follow Twilight's motion to the cottage door you were teleported to, Twilight's voice comes back to her as the door opens, "Alright everypony lets-..."

Her voice comes to an end as you all lay your eyes and ears to the noise and commotion of the room, you knew Fluttershy had a lot of animals but what the door has just opened to is no longer even a house.

Various colorful birds squawk and fly about the room in undefined paths, all kinds of mice, rabbits, ferrets and other small animals scurry around the house as you all take your first steps into the room. However the thing that's really caught you off guard is the cyan pegasus mare tied up in a chair sitting in the middle of the room with a carrot in her mouth and surrounded by a few white rabbits.

Fluttershy's voice comes next to you as the yellow mare trots forward from the doorway, "Angel bunny, how many times have I told you to be nice to everypony."

You stare to a familiar rabbit as it turns around holding a fork in its claw, at Fluttershy's voice the commotion around the room stops as all the animals stop what they're doing and look to her.

Pinkie moves herself past Fluttershy as she gives a little laugh and begins to untie the ropes around her, "Wow, these rabbits can tie huh Dashy?"

As the ropes fall from her and she takes the carrot out of her mouth she speaks up, but you slightly cock your head in confusion as you listen to the timid voice coming from her, "Thanks everypony...I just don't know what's gotten into these animals."

Your all silent for a moment as the absent tomboyish voice of the mare hits ever pony, Rarity trots herself a little forward as she talks, "Maybe we should have came here first..."

Twilight's horn glows a faint purple as she talks, "No, its still the same as everypony else...we just need to help Rainbow remember her old self."

At the words Rainbow shakes her head as she talks, "Remember myself? But this is who I am...I just need to find my love of animals." At the end of her words she picks up a rabbit and nuzzles it sweetly, but the rabbit in her hold lets out a slight hissing sound and pushes from her hold and back to the ground.

Everypony is a little silent to her sweet sounding voice as you all stare to her, but Twilight floats the element of harmony over to her and places it around her neck like she’s done everypony else as she talks, "Rainbow, you know this isn't you-..."

Rainbow lets out a girlish sigh as she looks around to all the animals, "Of course it is?! Look at all these fluffy and cute animals...they just need to be hugged and loved and-..."

Pinkie brings her hooves over her ears as she sticks her tongue out, ugh "Twilight hit her with the spell !"

Rainbow's ears flick to the sound as she darts over to Pinkie and gives her a hug, "Oh Pinkie..."

You crack a slight smile to the cyan mare as you think to yourself, theres no way Rainbow gets a sweet voice and becomes all...lovey just from having Fluttershy's cutie mark.

Rainbow holds the hug to  Pinkie as she closes her eyes and nuzzles her friend's head, "Hugs are nice..."

Pinkie's voice comes back in a whine as she tries to push herself from the cyan ponies grasp, "UGh
Twilight make it stop make it stopppp!"

Twilight squints her eyes to her as she talks, "I-I don't think I can do the spell unless she wants to be changed back..."

"What?" Rarity holds her hoof out to the cyan mare as she speak out, "...Twilight you can't leave her like this, she’s not even close to herself."

"...I like it..." Fluttershy's voice comes back lowly as she chimes in, but as you all turn to her she gives a faint smile as she shrugs, "At least now I don't have to..." She swallows hard to her words as she continues, "...have Rainbow pressure me into weather training."

At the words Rainbow's ear flicks as she finally lets go of Pinkie and turns to the low voice, "What was that?"

Twilight gets a smile as she quickly talks, "That's right..." Her eyes dart back to Rainbow as she continues, "Rainbow theres no head weather pony anymore...so there won't be ANY weather training."

You squint to the words as you talk, "Can't you just get another-..." Your voice is cut off as Rarity moves her hoof over your mouth, you're a little shocked to it but you listen to the conversation still as Twilight continues.

"...Didn't you always want to be head weather mare that way the WonderBolts would recognize you?" Twilight's horn glows a faint purple as she holds a sly smile to her.

"W-wonderbolts?" Rainbow's sweet voice starts to get a little higher as she begins to talk up, "Y-you mean the best flyers in all of Equestria? The coolest and greatest flyer in like forever!" Towards the end of her sentence her voice spikes up in a slight tomboyish squeal.

"Yes." Twilight lowers her head as her horn's glow sparks up into the spell, Rainbow jerks back a little from the purple color around her head but she doesn't move from it as Twilight's spell runs through its course.

It takes a little longer but Twilight breaks her spell with a deep breath as Rainbow stands blinking to the room around her, "W-what happened?" Her normal voice comes back as she rubs her hoof to her head and squints to you, "A-and why does everypony look so weird?"

Twilight's voice comes over her with an excited tone that slightly scares the animals around the room as she talks, "It worked! The Element's of harmony t-there fixed!" She gives a little laugh as she looks around the room to her friends.

You follow her excitement as you turn your head around the room, you get a slight smile as you listen to everypony's happy exclamations...but for you you just hold a thought in your mind as you roll your eyes around the room to happy that for once a problem was fixed with just a simple spell. You give a slight chuckle to yourself at the thought that just ran through your head, simple spell...

Pinkie nods her head as she trots back towards Twilight, "Well duh! Of course we would be ok, when has something bad happened when we're all together?"

Twilight's smile widens as she talks, "That's it! I think I know how to complete the spell!" Her horn glows a faint purple as she closes her eyes.

But you're not able to help with the spell as the room around you sparks up in deep purple glow.
