To Save Twilight Sparkle

Chapters 1-5

Many, oh so very many days ago, I had been called upon by Princess Celestia to find and bring a girl back to Equestria. I had no clue what shit I was fixing to get into, including some near-death experiences. But this is my story, of an odyssey. A long journey was ahead of me. But now is the time...

"Ugh," I mumble after collapsing onto my bed, extremely tired after a hard days work, "I just want to sleep..." I trail off falling fully asleep.
As I was sleeping, I was happened to be pulled into a magnificent, white, marble palace during a dream. It had four towers with golden tops and spiraling staircases all the way to the top floor. There in the main hall, with a red rug going all the way up to the thrones, I saw a white alicorn with a sun on her flank.
Is that a branding? None that I have ever seen before. I thought that they where not colorful. But never mind that that alicorn is nothing like I have ever seen! She is so graceful I think until I hear her voice, calm and beautifying.
"Are you a human?" I hear the alicorn ask me ever so graciously.
"And I am. I am Zach of Planet Earth." I reply in the bravest voice I could possibly muster, hoping that I look as graceful as she does.
"I am Princess Celestia of Equestria. I have a very important task for you," she tells me with a hint of fear in her eyes.
"I am at your service, Princess, I mean I absolutely cannot say no to something as graceful as you," I reply taking a deep bow.
"I need you to find a girl in your realm. She goes by the name of Twilight Sparkle. Find her and take her back home. Quickly now! Before all is lost!"

I awaken to find myself no longer in the magnificent palace with the gracious Princess Celestia.
Wow what a dream. I should probably talk to Spencer and see what he thinks. I think while sitting on my bed. As I start getting my things ready I think Twilight Sparkle, huh? Maybe Spencer knows a girl by that name. Well anyways, phone, keys, and my Coca-colas. Check!

I pull up into Spencer's driveway, hoping that he is available and didn't invite some girl over for the night.
Knock, knock, knock
The door opens to about an inch.
"Password?" I hear someone whisper from the other side.
"Bananas are actually monkeys," I whisper back.
The door opens all the way for me to see Spencer in his usual attire, denim shorts and a striped t-shirt, and he was holding up a bag of pizza.
"Want some?" he said gesturing to the pizza.
"Your asking me, Zach, if I want pizza? Are you joking? Of course I do!"

"Man I love your pizza, Spencer," patting my belly, "But onto other things. I have had a dream."
"Ok?" he said gesturing me to go on.
I explain to him about my dream visit from Princess Celestia.
"Hmm..." he said, scratching at his beard.
"Any good advice?" I ask hopefully.
"Well I think you should try the malls in our area, then move onto Round Rock and Georgetown. Once you find this chick, invite her to a party."
I sigh. "God damn you Spencer, I understand the mall part but I won't ask a girl to a 'party' when she and I hardly know each other. But I will definitely check out the malls."

I had nearly checked all the malls in Hutto, Georgetown, and Round Rock except for one. Thats when I saw her. She looked like no other human, and lets just say, she was beautiful. Not in the very least. Her hair was like no other that's for sure. It was purple toned with some pink stripes.
I walk up casually until I see a man attack her and attempting to drag her someplace where she probably didn't want to go. He was holding up a gun at the crowd yelling "Does anybody challenge me? If not I'll just take this beauty someplace else a little more... quieter" The crowd surrounding him went into sudden panic. The girl was also desperately trying to get away when suddenly a small purple dog bit onto his pants let and tried to give him hell. He nearly shot the dog but missed and hit the floor instead. I run but I realize I would have to use magic to get up close. Well here goes nothing I think when I charge at him to reduce the amount of distance I would have to teleport. He sees me then I just go POOF! He just looks around confused when he hears a poof right behind him he knows it is too late. I grab him from behind and put him in a neck lock. The crowd stopped panicking and started applauding me. The police start running through the crowd glad to see that everything got under control but where amazed to see me holding the criminal in my arms.
"Well come get your criminal," I say to them, "Come and get him." I look at the girl and ask "Are you ok?"
She just gives me a simple nod apparently glad I was able to save her.
I release the criminal and helped her up. "I am Zach I say to her."
"I am Twilight Sparkle."
I found her and I've already made a good impression. I am glad for that.

"So Twilight do you want to talk a little bit more private. I have been looking for you anyways." I tell Twilight.
"Sure but one question." Twilight responds in a quiet tone.
"Ask away as many questions as you wish." I reply.
"Who sent you to find me? Not many ponies... I mean people know me." Twilight continues in a quiet tone.
"Princess Celestia sent me. I am not from where you are from. My birthplace is here in this... 'realm'."
Twilight give me a confused look, and I say, "So can we go somewhere else?"
"Yes"

We load up into my car.
"So you had a dream coming from Princess Celestia? Normally only Princess Luna can only do that." Twilight says.
"Princess Luna?" I inquiry.
"Princess Celestia's younger sister." Twilight says.
"So how many princess are there?" I ask confusedly.
"Oh there are only 4 that I know of. Princess Celestia, whom you have already met, is the Princess of the Day, and is also equestria's long time ruler. Princess Luna, who is Princess of the Night, and also Celestia's younger sister, which together they bring day and night. Then there is Princess Cadence, Princess of Love, and me as Princess of Magic.
"So wait," I say, clearly dumbfounded, "I just saved a princess, the Princess of Magic, from being raped?"
"Eh... Yes you technically did." she said, smiling.
"Wow you look even better when you smile."
She starts to blush.
"Even better when you blush!"
"Stop it Zach! Calm yourself!"
"Ok, ok." I say holding up my hands in surrender. "Well we better get over to Spencer's place."
