//------------------------------// // Bowling // Story: Shoot For The Stars // by Burritoburger //------------------------------// Chapter 9: Bowling 7:45 p.m. I was busy reading my favorite book on astronomy, until there was a knock on the door. I opened to see Bumble, a light blue pegasus with red stripes, and a white and red striped alicorn. "Who are these two?" I asked. They looked shocked. "Aren't you surprised that that an alicorn is here?" Bumble said. "Bitch, I was recently sent to two different universes, saved Equestria from a meteorite, broke time and space, including the sound barrier twice, nearly got killed three times, and you want me to be surprised because there is an alicorn standing in front of me?" I asked. All of their jaws dropped. "You're gonna have to tell me that story sometime." Bumble said. 7:55 p.m. We were walking towards Princess Luna's room, ready to help this scared as hell alicorn with his date. "Hey, you should think of a name." Giro said. "Yeah, it would be a lot better to go on a date and she would know what to call you." Bumble said. I stayed low, thinking on what his name should be. (Bloody Spartan!) {Blank red?} [white smoke.] ({[What?]}) Guys, be quiet. I'm trying to think... "...How about James?" Bumble broke the silence. "That's a human name!" Giro stated. "Well, I don't know any others." Bumble replied. "...Hey, when is Twilight's foal coming?" Bumble asked. Giro smiled. "Soon. Very soon." He replied. "...How about watcher?" Bumble said. "Why not?" The alicorn said. He was about to knock on the door, until, "Crimson Haze." Everypony looked directly at me. "That is a really good name!" Giro said. "I like it." Crimson said. He knocked on the door and Princess Luna opened it, her dazzling dress very...appealing. I noticed Bumble whispered something to Giro, and he looked back at him with an expression that said "I don't give a shit." "Ok guys, ready?" Bumble asked. We went to Pin's Bowling Alley. We walked in and went into lane five. Bumble paid for everything, and still had some bits to spare. (Damn, that guy is rich!) {I wonder where he obtained it.} [Hey, has anypony else noticed the lack of Pinkie Pie lately?] I don't care, I never really liked her anyways. Luna started, getting a perfect strike. "Aha! The fun has been doubled!" She cheered. (Looks like we got some competition.) Hey, Knowledge, you ready to whoop some asses? (That's what she said!) {Yes. With my education on trajectory and force, this should be a, how do you say it? Piece of cake?} Alright, let's do this. Crimson was next, and he looked as confused as I was when I went to Earth. Speaking of which... Bumble went over and helped Crimson out. Crimson got four down the first time, and then three more, counting a total of seven. Bumble came up and hit nine pins, then hit the last one. Spare. "Yes!" He cheered in triumph. I was up next, and as I grabbed the bowling ball, Knowledge took over. {Let's see...trajectory 7.16...force and strength 18.5... and...} I rolled the ball, and it went into a straight line with the perfect force, knocking all of the pins down. (Like a boss!) I looked over at Bumble and smirked. (You mad bro?) Giro was up next, and boy, did he fail! He got a gutter on the first throw, and only got three in the next! He sighed and Bumble went over and patted his back. The game continued, with me and Luna up at the top, Crimson slowly behind us, and Bumble slowly behind him, while Giro was at the bottom. It was about 11:00 and we were so close. If I can get the strike, I will get a perfect game and beat Luna by one pin. Knowledge took over yet again. {...and...} I rolled it in, getting another strike. "Hell yeah!" I cheered, taking a sip of Dr. Stallion that Bumble bought us. Luna kissed Crimson in the cheek, and he blushed deeply. Luna walked out of the building. Bumble went up to him. "Score." He said, and Crimson blushed. (Hey Stargazer, aren't you gonna ask them about the humans and whatnot yet?) Oh yeah. Giro and Bumble were walking, until I stopped them. I grinned. "So you know about humans." I said. They looked at each other with bewildered expressions on their faces.
