Beep.
The time has come.
Beep.

Beep.

Beep.

Beep.
The end is here.
Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-
The machine is turned off.
Why must things end?
Why must it hurt so much?
Why?
Why?
The Doctor asks him self that every day of his life.
Even now he watches his great-great-great-grandchildren playing in the same park that he found Dinky in.
The tears burn.
He cried every day for a month after her death.
He stopped going on adventures after that.
Never leaving, he could not bring him self to.
But then he remembered the last words she said to him.
"Don't you worry, child. Celestia has a plan for you. Everything ends. It is our job to make sure that look forward and move on. Go on. Go on adventures. Forgive, but never forget."
The tears come even now after all these years.
"I will. I'll go on adventures again. like I promised. I'll move on, but no one could replace you two."
He visits the memorial every day to make sure that nothing changes it.
He looks down and reads the inscriptions that he wrote himself.
They read: "Everything ends. It is our job to make sure that the world goes on. Forgive, never forget.
Rest in peace Ditsy "Derpy Whooves" Doo Age 87 and Dinky "The Lover" Doo Age 93
They lie next to an unmarked grave under a willow tree.
The only words on it read: "Doo A father a husband."
"Time to go Doctor!" a cheery voice yells.
"Yes, yes. Of course."
Time for an other adventure.
"Is that where great-great-great grandma and great-great-great-great grandma are burried?"
"Yes."
"Did you love them?"
"With all of my hearts."
"Where are we going?"
"I have no idea, but it is time to move on. I have been here for far to long. I couldn't bring my self to leave them, but now I understand what she was trying to tell me all this time. Ponies die. Things end. We cannot go around blaming things, we must forgive. But we must also never forget. Even the small things have an effect on ponies lives. Always remember the small things, the happy times, forget the sad. It is time go move on with life. I just can't realize why it took me so long to finally make sense of it."
