Chapter 16: We're in a Cartoon, and Humans Do WHAT?!
'Another day, another... item to do.' James thought. He rode in on his bike, deciding it was a beautiful day to ride his bike. Inside the basket of his bike was his laptop, ready to show some more stories and more of their fandom. James smiled, then parked the bike in front of the Library. He then heard noises in there, that sounded like a sense of horror. James grabbed his laptop, jumping off his bike. He then entered into the library...
...only to find out everything was just strange.
Pinkie was in the corner, depressed with her hair flat, starting to fly. Rainbow was rocking back and forth in the fetal position. The CMC were playing patty-cake, Rarity was babbling like an idiot, Applejack was lying on the ground, unconscious, and Twilight looked like she was going insane. James was just confused at what he was seeing, when he suddenly saw the computer laptop in the room. 'Uh oh! This doesn't look good.' he thought.
He soon walked up to the computer, looking at the history of the computer. He was shocked as he saw what websites they went to. "Nuts! I was hoping to somewhat avoid this day." he said, as his head drooped. He then raised his hands in rage, and said, "Why Murphy, Why must you be so cruel and scar all of them?" he said. He looked around seeing the six look at him. He just smiled, then said, "Now that I have y'all attention, mind explaining to me what the heck just happened?" Twilight looked at her friends, then said, "I was more curious about our fandom James. So, using the computer that you made me for my birthday, I decided, with the help of my friends, that we should look at the fandom by ourselves."
James nodded, then said, "And now you see why I show you stuff, instead of you looking up stuff." All of them nodded. He smirked at them, then looked at the first thing that they looked at... storywise. "Cupcakes?" James said, confused. All of them were frightened. James started to read the story, reading, looking over things, so on and so forth. Suddenly, he busted up laughing. "This is... HA, HA so ridiculous." he said, starting to laugh again.
All of them looked at each other, then Rainbow Dash looked at what James was reading. She was confused, then looked at the human. "What's so funny?" James started to take in deep breathes, then said, or at least said it with a straight face. "It's because Pinkie is so out of character, it's funny. BWAHAHAHAHA!" he said starting to laugh again. Pinkie looked at it again, then suddenly, her hair became poofy again, and she started laughing. "When you put it that way, it is funny." she said, as she and James were rolling on the floor laughing. They soon sighed, taking a breather.
"Anyways, I had the crazy idea after hearing the ending of cupcakes. The idea was to do a similar idea to "Frankenstein" to which I would grab the dead bodies, put them back together, then actually use lightning to bring you guys back to life. The others looked at him, like he was crazy. "*Ahem* Also, Pinkie had a evil twin." James said. All of them looked at each other in confusion, then Pinkie said, "Well, why don't you show us some good things."
He nodded, then went and started to type in for videos. "This should peak your interest." he said. Then he added, "Careful, it has language you wouldn't normally use."
After seeing the video, Rarity was in shock, as well as several others. Pinkie, Rainbow, and Spike were laughing. James couldn't help but chuckle at what they had just watched. Finally, Twilight spoke. "Er, well. That was interesting, and quite animated." she said. "I agree." Applejack said. Rarity was still in shock, then Twilight bumped her. "Anything to say Rarity?" she said. Finally, she said, "What absurdity. I would never eat that amount of calories. That would ruin my perfectly good figure." she said. Then Rainbow remembered something. "Isn't this similar to 'Epic Meal Time'?"
James smiled with a nod, then searched for one video that they would all love.
He found one, or he should say several
He thought there were others, but at this time, he thought that they were good enough to get the point across. He looked back at the girls who were amazed at what was made. "This is called 'Pony Music Videos' or PMV for short. They turn normal music, and setted it up to where they make it seem like you're singing it, or interpreting it. At least I think." he said. The others were nodding. "Those sound familiar." "They do Fluttershy. This is Rush, with their most awesome songs like "Subdivisions, Anthem, and The Analog Foal" ." he said, naming them off in order.
He smiled at their reactions to what they were watching the animations. He then went to some fan sites when, he suddenly found a picture.
In fact, he found several.
As James showed them the pictures of them, and the fan art, and the memes, they were all impressed that humans were interested in them. Mostly males who were even older than James, and yet some weren't all that bad. They created things that somehow made them part of the fandom. "You see girls, they don't just watch. They learn from you, and then some also make songs and things, relating to the "brony" fandom." he said with a smile. He then chuckled at the things they were seeing. "I will tell you that you guys that some of us, as you somehow have found out," they just gave him the sheepish look, "Aren't exactly going to create things from you with your intentions in mind. In fact, almost all fandoms all like that." he said.
"Can we see a few?" Pinkie said. James thought about it for a moment, then said, "Meh, why not?" So, James showed them other fandoms, like Transformers, Star Wars, Star Trek, and other fandoms. Finally, Pinkie said, "Hey James, didn't you promise us a tv show?" James thought about it for a moment, before he finally remembered. "That's right, I promised you guys 'Doctor Who'. But, I left it at home." he said.
