"Mr. Windbreaker?" Oh, why do I have to keep waking up like this? Well, at least I got a decent night's sleep this time.
"Yeah?" Celestia my head hurts, for that matter my entire body hurts, painkillers must have worn off last night when I was sleeping, great.
"You have some visitors here, do you need anything before I leave?"
"No doctor, thank you." He said 'visitors' as in more than one, so who did Fluttershy bring today?
"Oh sorry Windbreaker I guess we woke you up, sorry, do you want us to leave?" No, no a thousand times no!
"Please stay, I really look forward to your visits, the doctor said visitors as in plural so I take it you brought a friend?"
"Oh yes, Windbreaker this is Twilight Sparkle, she is the town librarian as well as Celestia's personal student," Wow, she started off strong today, a student of Princess Celestia so she definitely has intelligence, indeed. Well, she is pretty attractive, not at Fluttershy's level but still, she has a purple coat but her mane is pretty with the dark purple contrast of the strands of pink and lavender.
"An honor to meet you, Miss Sparkle."
"Likewise Mr. Windbreaker, so I have been told you survived quite an ordeal in the past few days." That might be a little bit of an understatement.
"Well, being ambushed by a pack of timber wolves wouldn't exactly be described as a pleasant experience and the fact that I would have died if not for Fluttershy here makes it a little bit less so."
"Indeed, I can tell by the amount of bandages that they got you pretty good, how long are you going to be staying here?" At this point, way too long I just want to get out of here with my sanity intact.
"Six days after this one, so long as I don't try to move too much that is, so you are the personal student of Princess Celestia?" So, first I meet the drop dead beauty, and then I meet the closest pony to Canterlot royalty in my life, I can't wait to see who else is lined up for me to meet.
"Yes, although it isn't that big a deal, I'm just a normal unicorn, nothing too special." Nothing too special? I don't believe the ponies here, this getting a little ridiculous.
"You ponies here are much too modest, being the personal student of the princess and then saving my sorry life, two things viewed as not a big deal. I can't grasp how you view these achievements as minor, everywhere else ponies are not afraid to boast about their tiniest of accomplishments."
"Well, we've had to deal with a pony like that in the past but she left town after a day." Good, it's a quality I can't stand in any pony, I don't mind acknowledging an achievement but gloating about is just a little ridiculous.
"I'm glad to hear that, Fluttershy said you are the town librarian, correct?"
"Yes I am, if you ever need to borrow a book don't be afraid to ask." Good to know, I like to keep myself held up to some intellectual standard when I can.
"Thank you, I will definitely take you up on that offer." Okay, so I'm starting to get connections around town here this is a good thing, maybe I should consider sticking around here for a while after I'm released. First, I should see how my recovery goes and figure things out from there.
Fluttershy hasn't said a word since my introduction, is she still worrying about me? "Fluttershy are you okay? You're really quiet compared to yesterday."
"Oh, it's nothing." Really? She's trying to pull that again? Not gonna work my dear, not gonna work.
"Did you have that dream again?"
"Well... yes, it's really scary to think what would have happened if I didn't get you here in time, if you didn't make it." She really does care, wow that's really sweet not many other ponies would even care about my well being like she does.
"Fluttershy, you don't have to worry about that, you stopped that from happening, you saved my life and thanks to you I will be out of here in a few days." Please stop worrying about it, please!
"But, I can't stop thinking about it, to have you dying like that is just too much to bear." Fluttershy, why do you do this to me?
"Fluttershy, come over here, please." Okay good, now this will hurt like no other, sit up, GAH, okay lean forward and there we go. That hurt like no other but that hug was worth it.
"Uh, o-okay what was that for exactly?" Oh, she's turning red again, that could have just backfired.
"That was to prove to you that I'm still here and I'm not going anywhere anytime soon, so please, please stop worrying."
"O-okay, well I-I have to go now I will see you tomorrow okay." Wait, wait and she's gone again, every time now, note to self: do not make her face turn red.
"Well, that went well, I really am an idiot." Oh wait, Twilight's still here, so she just heard me call myself an idiot, whatever worse things have happened.
"That was really sweet." Come again, making her run out like that, Twilight, in what world is that sweet?
"She just ran out again, it happened yesterday too, I don't see how that's sweet, what am I doing that makes her run out of here like the building's on fire?"
"I'm sure she will be fine tomorrow, I'm going to make sure she gets home alright, it was a pleasure to meet you Windbreaker."
"The pleasure was all mine Twilight, good-bye." And solitude returns again, so I need to figure this out right now, why does she start blushing like that and then run out of here as fast as she can. It will be okay, she said she would be back tomorrow, just gotta lean back AH, still hurts like no other, ah there we go I need to sleep on this, goodnight world.
