The sun rose high into the sky, causing rays of light to reflect of my window. The curtains helped, but I was still shocked to find a burst of light attacking me this early in the morning. I turned my head to look at my digital clock that Twilight had given me, I read the words produced on the screen. 7:09. Mother of Notch, that's really early! Much earlier than I would usually wake up.
I stretched my exhausted arms and lifted myself out of bed, looks like the clouds were already gone. I wouldn't be surprised if Twilight just burst into the room ordering me to come and meet Rainbow Dash. I flung open my curtains and sprinted over the the kitchen cabinet. The worktop was set with a few apples and other kinds of fruit, vegetables and other kinds from the food table.
My arm couldn't resist grabbing the most biggest apple on the table, and I let my teeth sink into the crunchy food. Perfect, that did the trick. I changed into a white shirt and blue jeans and left my house, locking the door behind me. I hummed a little tune and I skipped forward until I was stopped by something. I forced my eyes to open immediately, and I found myself staring at a white pony with a luxurious purple mane.
Mother of Notch... she's so beautiful. She looked at me with a confused sort of smile, and opened her mouth to speak.
" Excuse me um, dear gentlemen but what in the wide wide world of Equestria are you? " she asked me. I snapped out of my trance and shook my head.
" I'm Steve, a Minecraftian. I know someone called Twilight Sparkle, and yourself? " I replied.
" Twilight? Oh yes, you must be the strange creature she was talking about. I am Rarity, and I'm very pleased to meet you but I have some very important business to finish. I'm trying to look for some Gemstones for my latest dresses. Now if you'd excuse me please, there is a lot to be done. "
" Gemstones, eh? I know quite a lot about them. Where I come from I used to mine all the time. I can find diamonds, emeralds, rubies and everything else! " I said proudly
''Well darling I'd love to chat but as I said I really need to get these Gemstones'' said Rarity, a little irritated
''I could go and get the Gemstones for you, after all, I have nothing else to do and helping somebody else could be good'' I said
''Well, I don't want to make you do work for me..''
''Oh please!, I promise that I am offering out of my own free will!''
''Oh, fine! get me 10 Gemstones then come back her and I'll collect them, Oh and I guess you'll be needing this''
She galloped over to a cupboard where she got out a narrow piece of wood with two pointy pieces of stone on each side, it looked like a...
''Pickaxe!'' I exclaimed happily
She handed me the pickaxe and gave me a map of where I could find Gemstones in Equestria. "Cheers!" I said, smiling. As soon as I put on my boots, I set off to go mining and to collect some Gemstones. I didn't know what the underground wildlife of Equestria was like, but boy was I excited.
~3 hours later~
Bats.Bats.BATS. I soon realized there was nothing but bats here, and it was quite strange to be honest. No creepers, no spiders, no zombies. Nothing, just bats. I soon found some gemstones, and hacked away at them with my newly acquired pickaxe, collecting three. I then walked over to another spot, did the same and acquired seven. Boy was rarity going to be pleased!
