Well today was a nice day, and no nightmare's either! Yay! Well I woke up today with my wings sore, although It wasn't as bad as it could have been. I at least had my fuzzy cozy warm little blanket to cushion my saddlebags.....Actually why didn't I just use that! Or even better I could of just slept on a cloud!
Gah I feel so stupid now, here I was sleeping on my saddle bags when I could of used a nice soft cushy cloud. Well I guess it's too late now, already bought my bed. Well anyways after stretching for a bit, I walked outside. Today was just as beautiful as the last, I just love it! Although it is kinda odd that the weather pegisi haven't begun bringing in fall. None the less I am enjoying the extended summer. I happily trotted into town, despite my worries. I looked around for a furniture store, then I saw what I think was called Carousel Boutique. Now I was looking for furniture so this normally wouldn't grab my attention. But this boutique said it sold furniture. I went inside, not really knowing what to expect( and seriously who would, I mean who's ever heard of a boutique selling furniture) Then, a mare named Rarity came up and asked me what I wanted, before I could answer through she decided to guess, her guess was an outfit to wear on a date with my special somepony. I mentally giggled trying my best not to giggle out loud. After asking I found out she was only selling furniture because of a shipping mix up. So after that I told her what I really wanted. I found a nice soft bed for only 300 bits. Now I thought I'd have to drag my bed all the way home, but instead she offered me free shipping! After that I walked out with my spirit brightened even more. It then hit me that I had just spent the last of my money. I let out a sigh, but overall I think I’m pretty happy. I may not have been able to get all the things I wanted to, but I did have enough money to not only buy a house but a bed too! And I didn't even think I could get a house with that much.
The Mayor said there was a job board at town hall so I headed there. I quickly began skipping with happiness. I just couldn't and still can't believe my luck! I knew at that moment that no matter what happened this was NOT a bad decision. How could it be, The ponies are just so nice in this town, and there stuff is cheap too! After getting there, there was only one job. It was a shipping job with Rarity, so I headed back there. She told me all I had to do was pull a wagon of dresses, however what she failed to tell me until later was that the dresses were studded with gems. Needless to say it was heavy, but I guess it wasn't too bad either. As we walked to the post office to deliver the dresses, we talked a little. Nothing that I really remember though, it was just small talk.
However one thing I do remember was how generous she was. Just talking to her you could see it. She was also such a drama queen! It was actually really funny now that I think about it. It didn't take long to get there, but I was still exhausted when we did. ( that's the one thing I hate about Pegisi. How incredibility weak and fragile we are,the flying still makes up for it though) once I caught my breath, I heard Apple bloom call me. She introduced me to her friends and said that they were part of some group, that crusades for cutie marks. It was just so cute. Except that orange one, what was her name again?......Scoo something. It was a cool name though. But anyways she was kinda obnoxious, Teased me about being girlfriends with Rarity. Still not sure I like her. Then there was the other one, I think it was Sweetie something... ah I know it was Sweetie Belle, and her name defiantly fit her. She was just soooooo cuuuute. Well anyways after telling the orange one, that I was just doing a job for rarity, Applebloom suggested they help me find jobs. The others then joined in and they left before I could say anything. Still not sure if they were even being serious.
After that me and Rarity headed back, and she then offered me first dibs on any work she needs done. So sweet. So I headed back to check if my bed had arrived. When I got there though it wasn't there. Before I could do anything else though the mailmare crashed into me! ( And she's the one that's delivering my mail.. yeah real reassuring) She said her name was Derpy, and we talked a little. She seemed pretty sweet. Then as soon as she put the pieces together, and figured out I was new, She IMMEDIATLY asked me to be her friend. I was a little shocked but, I couldn't refuse. She then said about how nice it was for her to meet a new friend because of her lack. I smiled at that, I knew that feeling all too well. She then asked if I wanted to get muffins later. That sounded nice, so I said yes. We talked a little more about how she managed to become a mailmare. She then left, but not before knocking over my mailbox. “sigh” I then went over and fixed my mail box. I didn't regret saying yes to being friends though. She was really sweet and so cute. Well the childish kinda cute that is....although she was kinda cute the other way too. Ya I guess you could call me a fillyfoaler by now. I've never actually had a fillyfriend, but I do know that it's easy to find cute mares, stallions, not so much. Well anyways, Derpy's just a friend and I really don't think I'd be ready for dating anyways. I definitely do look forward to spending more time with her though. She's so sweet. She reminds me of a little filly I used to know in Cloudsdale named Jubilee. But she.....she's gone now..................................................... Well anyways like I said before, it's best not to dwell on the past. So after fixing my mailbox I dragged my bed inside( That Derpy had dropped, luckily it didn't suffer any damage). Now here I am once again
wrapped up in my fuzzy cozy warm little blanket, laying on my bed writing this.
Overall I think today was a great day! I definitely can't wait for tomorrow to see what other
surprises Ponyville might bring!
