Alright so my friends have been saying I should start a diary for a while. I've never really thought of it as that great of an idea, but after them telling about how fun it was to go back, and remember all the good (and bad) times you had and what you thought of them. I thought I would give it a try, and what better time to start then when I am moving.
I actually was moving today, and am currently on the train to Ponyville. That's the new place I'm moving to. Anyways my name is Joyful song or Joy for short, and I am a Pegasus, and ….actually I'm the ONLY one who's is gonna read this why the hay am I introducing myself!
Well anyways I woke up today and ate my breakfast just like normal. I poked my head out the window looking at the beautiful city that was Cloudsdale, the weather was scheduled to be just beautiful today! Knowing that alone brightened up my spirits, I always loved a warm perfect day. Well I didn't have much time to dawdle, It was a long way to Ponyville. I quickly slung my saddle bags (that were already packed and ready to go) onto my back and flew down to the lower clouds. After saying goodbye to the couple of friends that I had, I flew down to the train station and waited for the train.
I looked through my saddle bags at what I had,it wasn't much. Only about 2000 bits,my diary, a quail, some ink, some spare paper for writing or drawing, and a fuzzy cozy warm little blanket were in there. Most of my stuff....or well actually all of it I had to sell to have enough money to even buy a new home, and after selling everything I still only have 2000 bits. I really hope that's enough. I just never had a very big home or much stuff to sell, so I didn't get much money. But I don't regret anything. Cloudsdale is nice and all, but I just.......I just need to get away from it all, and Ponyville sounded like a nice place to get a new start!
Well anyways, after about an hour of waiting for the train (seriously when do these trains ever arrive on time!) It finally came. I got on it and looked back at the town I was leaving, then forward at what I was heading towards, Ponyville. Even through I couldn't see it I just had a good feeling of what was to come.
There really wasn't much to do on the train, but that was fine. I always enjoyed my solitude, just sitting up in a cloud daydreaming, singing, drawing, writing. Whatever came to my mind really, and whatever I felt like doing. Not to say that I don't like hanging out with my friends, but I well I've never really had many friends. I just can't ever bring myself to say hi to somepony new unless they’ve said it first. Although I guess that really doesn't change anything. Even if I did have tons of friends, I'd still want to spend at least an hour or two by myself each day. Although if my day is really busy I can always just enjoy some time to myself when I'm at work, well that is if the job's doesn't require much thinking. Like dealing with the weather, I've always enjoyed daydreaming a little while I did that.
Well anyways, that was pretty much my day, I just sat there and daydreamed, drew a little, sang some songs and daydreamed some more. Now I sit here at 9:17 PM, wrapped up in my fuzzy cozy warm little blanket writing this. Its getting late and I don't have anything else to say, so I'll just say goodbye. I have a BIG day tomorrow, and I'm gonna need the sleep.
goodbye
