						*Ponyvile Park*
I looked around, worried. It had been about 2 hours since I got here, and Rarity had still not shown up.
"Maybe she's just getting some make up on or something." I told myself, trying to calm myself down.
"Mason!" I heard somepony yell. I looked behind me to see Applejack running towards me. "Its awful! Darn awful!"
"What? What happened?" I asked.
"I...its Rarity..." she pulled something out of her saddlebag and threw it to me. "He said ta give this to ya."
"Who did?" I asked. I looked at at she threw to me. It was paper-thin, and made out of metal. There was a button on it. Now, when you are in a place where finding any kind of technology like this is rare, you know for a fact something is going on. I pushed  the button, and a small hologram came out of the camera near the front end of the device. All i saw of it was a shadowy man-like silhouette.
"You defeated our two top-class minions, and so, we have decided a human like you should have no such ability, meaning now we have no choice but to face you ourselves. But first, we needed to form an alliance with a foe you should recognize, thanks to Earths advanced technology that of which you created. If you want the mare back, you will have to beat us. Find us on the map that is on the back of this device. Farewell." I gasped. It was the same voice from the dream I had. I looked at the back of the device. But I didn't understand what he ment by "that you created." After I removed the map, I unfolded it and looked at it. The map's start piont seemed to be the edge of the Everfree Forest, and led to the far end of it.
"Ah Think It might be a trap. You shouldn't go sugarcube, not by yerself!" Exclaimed Applejack.
"Listen Applejack, I'm not sure if anypony's told you, but I'm not the same as before." 
"W...whaddya mean 'not the same as before?' What are ya talkin' about?"	
"Let me show you." I looked around for homething I could demonstrate with, when I laid my eyes on a fallen leaf. I walked over to it and picked it up. "Flame Incinerator!" I yelled. The leaf turned into ashes in ten seconds flat, as Dash would say.
"Wha...How...How in Equestria did ya DO THAT?"
"Long story." I said "Oh yea, one last thing." I said, before leaving. "Tell the others to come to the edge of Everfree at about seven with the elements. I have an idea."
"Are ya sure you want us to bring the elements?" asked Applejack, rather confused. "Ya do know they're not gonna work without Rarity, right?"
"Yea I know." I said "But we're gonna go there with 5 ponies, and were going to come out with 6." I said.
"A..Alright sugarcube. If you say so." 
"Relax, we'll be fine." I said.
*My House*
I opened up the door, and walked indside.
"Discord! I'm back!" I yelled. He appeared with a white flash. 
"Well, well, what took you so long?" he asked.
"Had a conversation and lost track of time. we're going out to the Everfree Forest soon, and I think it would be best if you come with."
"Why?" he asked, rater sarcasticly.
"Because Rarity is in trouble and Im going with her friends to help her out." I said "And I think we might be in for a tough fight."
"Oh alright, fine." he said "But it had best be just a teensy bit interesting!" 
"Oh, it will be." I said.
*Everfree Forest*
It was almost sundown by time we were all together. 
"Ok, look everypony," I began "I understand that this isn't going to be a walk in the park, but its for a worthy cause. Lets roll."
"Ohh! What are we rolling? Is it cookie dough? Are we making cookies? Oh boy, i love Cookies! they're so yummy, and delicious, and..."
"It's a figure of speech, Pinkie Pie. It means that were going to start heading into the Everfree Forest." Explained Twilight.
"Oh yea, silly me." said Pinkie. The map led us through a path, past Zecora's hut, and past the ruins, where Nightmare Moon was defeated. Soon after, we found a dent in the ground.
"No, surely this can't be right." said Discord, while looking down the crater. "Mason, come quickly, please." he said. I walked over to him.
"Yea?" I asked. He pointed an eagle claw downward in response. I looked where he was pointing, and gasped.
"Excuse my language," I began "But what the bucking hell happened here?" I asked. I had seen remains, but nothing like this. Normally, I wouldve just assumed it was a big pile of wood, but since this was the Everfree Forest, I knew for a fact that this was a pack of timberwolves. Key word there is WAS. "Twilight," I began "Tell me, do you know if members of a tiberwolf pack attack each other? Like, to a violent death?"
"Um... no, not really, they don't usually attack another wolf in thier pack, why?"
"Come look at this." She and the other 4 came forth. 
"Oh my..." muttered Fluttershy under her breath.
"Well ah'll be..." Said Applejack
"This is crazy!" Exclaimed Dash.
"This is awful! Who would do such a thing?" asked Twilight. The former pack of timberwolves was obliterated. Each piece of wood must have had at least 15 deep cuts, easily an inch or more thick. I looked at the map again and froze in terror. The destination on the map was at this exact area. 
"Glad you could make it!" said that same high-pitch voice from my dream before.
"Where are you? Show yourself!" I yelled. Soon, a small, man like figure appeared in a black flash, similar to Discord's. "Siding with the good guys, huh Discord?" said the figure.
"You know him?" I asked
"We go a few years back. long story." said Discord.
"Hey, who the hay do ya think you are?" Demanded Applejack.
"Oh, ive never seemed to have introduced myself, have I? We can make changes to that!" The Small man snapped his fingers, and a stero system appeared behind him in the same black flash that he did. He snapped his fingers again, and it started to play a rather drastic tune. It souned familiar to me, but I couldnt remember how.
"And now for a dazziling good show! All who make me mad might become a crow! Your defeats will be no surprise! When Im here, theres no such thing as a hopeful sunrise! Gavara, thats my name, being the universe's best trixter is my game!" Gavara snickered "All who wish for light, just dont try your might! Or soon you will resemble the foal who just got injected with shame, because now, your falling for mind games!" He snickered some more "And now that you know who I am, time for this horror show to get started! The rules are simple, if you answer my riddles correctly, you proceed, if not, then you will never suceed!"
"I don't know about you, but he kinda sounds like Zecora to me." Whispered Pinkie
"Alllllrighty then, who's first? How about you, Flutters?" Asked Gavara
"How do you know who she is?" asked Dash. 
"Oh relax, I know who all of you are! And a lot about you all, as well! For example, Dashie, You have a secret crush on Sorin, a member of the Wonderbolts, whoopsies, guess its not such a secret now, is it?" Gavara laughed intensly
"Dont even, Gavara!" A large, buff man soon came out of nowhere "We are to fight them! Not play Space-Jepordy!"
"But Lord Barron..." Said Gavara, in an unsatisfied tone
"But nothing! You know better! Now, which one of you lot are first to fight Gavara?"
"Why me?" asked Gavara
"Because you agreed to, remember?"
"Oh yea!"
"I will fight first." said Discord. Gavara laughed
"The two of us? Boy, you really are a funny one, aren't you?" He looked at Discord, smirking. "Its a deal."
