Fluttershy was treating the wounds of Scourge, Brick and Bone. they all were really terrible. Scourge had a deep bite mark in his throat. Bone was covered in bites and scratches. Brick had missing fur on her shoulder(but it wasn't fresh and couldn't be helped) and a slash in her throat. they had to be asleep for this so it could be done correctly. Angel was helping Fluttershy heal them so it would go faster. Fluttershy was healing Scourge and Angel was healing Bone. these wounds...they all look like they're fatal...but these cats are alive. Fluttershy thought.
Angel made squeaking noises that only Fluttershy could understand. "can i have some more disinfectant? this guy has the most wounds, he probably got attacked first."
"f course, Angel bunny." Fluttershy answered, pushing the bottle of disinfectant towards him.
it took hours, but their wounds were finally patched up. i think i should show them to my friends. Fluttershy thought.
Scourge awoke. he was in much less pain but he was still very hungry. "ugh. we netter get to that barn soon or else I'm gonna have to murder someone." Scourge mumbled.
"take us to the barn or we'll die." Bone growled as he awoke.
"shut up, you're perfectly fine. we've gone without food for weeks before." Brick scolded him.
"well, in case you haven't noticed, death brings up an appetite." Bone argued. "you try being taken down by a bunch of apprentices in less than a minute and tell me how you feel."
"Bone, we're not dead. if we were then we'd be in hell where we belong." Scourge silenced him.
"got it." Bone replied, not wanting to get scratched in the face.
"good. now, Shy. take us to Apple's barn or we'll starve." Scourge said.
"okay" Fluttershy answered shyly. she led them to Applejack's barn.
they didn't really talk much on the way there. when they got there the three cats ran to the barn. Applejack and Big Mac were bucking apples at the time. Bone ran right past Applejack and almost knocked her over.
"what in tarnation?" Applejack exclaimed.
Fluttershy walked up to Applejack and begun to explain. "i found these cats in the grass bleeding, they seem like they haven't eaten in weeks. d-do you think they could hunt the rats in your barn?"
"why, of course. I've been waitin for somepony to get them rats out. they're like parasites, they eat holes in all the apples so we've been leavin em outside." Applejack agreed.
"heck yeah!" Bone yelled, rushing to the barn doors. he couldn't find out how to open them though. he pounded on them, scratched at them, he tried pretty much everything except pulling them open.
"you're so stupid." Scourge growled. "you're lucky you know how to fight, because if you didn't I'd have murdered you by now." Scourge did the one thing Bone didn't try, he grabbed the handles with his paws and pulled.
"wow, you do need help with rats." Brick said. there were rats everywhere. you could see them crawling in the hay and climbing the empty pig pens. they had almost nothing to eat since the apples were gone so they were gnawing on the wood.
the three cats entered, hardly stopping themselves from running like maniacs. Scourge made the first kill, the dog teeth above his claws perfect for killing. "I really hope Tigerstar isn't here." he muttered.
"he probably won't be here, he wa killed by you, not those dirty clan fools." Bone told him while gnawing on a rat skull.
"but, considering our luck..." Brick didn't need to finish her sentence, they were all thinking the same thing.
"we're gonna have to fight him again, aren't we?" Bone sighed.
"soon." Scourge told them. "but not until we're done hunting, i didn't smell his scent."
they hunted for hours. they had cleared the barn of almost all rats. the only ones left were thin, and would either die of starvation or kill each other off. "so, where do we live again?" Bone asked.
"hmm. never thought about it...maybe we could live in the barn hunting rats...no, too easy." Scourge answered.
"why not at Fluttershy's den?" Brick asked.
Scourge shivered. "no. I've had bad experiences in dens.
"well..why not find an alley or something?" Bone suggested.
"didn't see any." Scourge answered.
"you could live at Rarity's place...i-i mean if that's okay." Fluttershy told them.
"what's her place like?" Bone asked.
"well, it's really fancy and she likes decoratio-" Fluttershy was cut off by the three of them.
"NO!"
"wh-why not?" Fluttershy asked.
"she'll try to get rid of our instincts." Scourge answered. "i will not be a kittypet again." Scourge answered.
"she has a cat." Fluttershy told them.
they looked at each other. "another cat huh?" Bone asked.
"well, I'll take it, another cat to torture- i mean talk to sounds great." Scourge decided.
"okay, but you're the size of ponies and she's the size of a normal cat, so- wait, did you say torture?" Fluttershy asked.
"umm, no. i said torch, you know, those things that give you light." Scourge couldn't let this light hearted pony know of his intentions.
"good." Fluttershy said simply.
Fluttershy lead them to Rarity's house. she had described it on the way there, so they weren't so shocked at how fancy it was.
"see you guys later." Fluttershy said as she walked away.
