I ate too many brownies and I was feeling sick again. But not as sick as earlier though. We were in the library, settling down from the party Pinkie threw a little while ago. Where I ate the brownies. I am currently drinking a glass of milk courtesy of Twilight, well Spike actually but that's only because Twilight told him to. I honestly don't know how he puts up with it. Twilight said she had most of the things she needs for the spell.

"Wow so soon?" I said.

"Well they are more readily available here in Equestria. The only reason it took so long when we were on Earth is because I had to find substitutes. Here I don't need to."

"I see. So.....when am I leaving?"

She was silent for a second. "Tomorrow. I thought that I would let you stay the rest of the day here."

"Little sooner than I would like but it's fine." I shrugged. "Gotta get back to my life at some point right?" She nodded. "So what do you all want to do?"

"Well you haven't properly met Fluttershy yet." Rarity mentioned.

I looked around and noticed that Fluttershy wasn't here or at least I thought. "Yeah you're right, where is she?"

"She hidin' behind me." Applejack said, pointed behind. "I'll try to get her to come out."

I scratched the back of my head. "Oook?" I looked at Rainbow Dash. "Is Fluttershy always like that?"

"Yeah pretty much. She's cool though, just takes awhile for her to get used to somepony."

"I see. I can understand that though. Not to long ago I was kinda like that, still am depending on my mood."

Twilight looked at me. "What do you mean?"

"I'm kinda outgoing when I'm in a good mood, Kinda a jerk when I'm in a really bad mood...like earlier. Something like that, but don't be mistaken if I don't talk much. I'm like that sometimes."

"So right now yer in a good mood?"

"Right now, yeah. Little yellow one might ruin it though. She's gonna make me feel bad."

"Oh I-I wouldn't want that." I looked at where the voice was coming from, and saw Fluttershy inching from behind Applejack.

"Oh so you can speak. I was joking about you making me feel bad, but now that you are out of hiding. How are you?"

"I'm um...fine thank you."

I smiled. "That's good hear. What do you do? Rainbow is a weather pony, Pinkie's a baker, Twi's the librarian, Rarity is a seamstress, and A.J. is a farmer. So you are.....?"

"A-a vet....I take care of animals. Do you um.....like animals?"

"Yes I do. I have five dogs and three cats." I didn't want to tell her about the other animals. That would be awkward. "Do you have any animals?"

"Oh yes! I have a bunch!" Bingo! "I have birds, and squirrels, and mice, and a bunch."

"And they're all your pets?"

"Well no....I do have a pet rabbit though. Do you like rabbits?"

No Idea. "They're alright I suppose. Do you have any cats?"

"Well I am currently taking, yes." She gasped like she had an idea. "Would you like to see my animals?"

I smiled at her again. "Sure."

She smiled and trotted toward the door. "Follow me....um if that's ok with you..."

"Perfectly fine. I'm right behind you." She went outside, and I started toward the door when I saw the looks on the other's faces. "Uh...one second Fluttershy." She nodded, turned to them. "Problem?"

"How did you do that?"

"Do what?"

"She's never warmed up to anypony that fast before! How'd you do it?"

"Oh that! Actually I'm surprised it worked, to be honest. But it's easy...well sometimes. All I did was find a common interest or like. It usually doesn't work that well on Earth, but I'm glad nonetheless. Sometimes I guess all you gotta do is be nice. Well I'm not gonna keep her waiting anymore. See y'all later." I left the library and went up to Fluttershy. "Following you." She nodded and started walking.

I spent the majority just listening to Fluttershy talk about her animals and the various ways she takes care of them. She was taking an awful lot for some...pony with the word 'shy' in her name, but it's nice because I suck at small talk. She asked me if I knew anything about treating animals.

"No because I'm not a vet."

"Oh...I thought you were...."

"Why because my love for animals?"

"Y-yeah."

"Nope not a vet, but I do like them. Don't think I was lying to you, because I wasn't."

"Ok..."

I stopped, causing her to stop as well. "Look I'll turn around and go back to Applejack's. I don't want to bother you anymore."

She craned her neck and looked at me. "Oh no, it was just a simple understanding." She smiled and started walking. I said nothing and followed.

After awhile we reached her house well actually it was more of a cottage or something. She opened the door and I saw all sort of small critters scatter out from the door. They stopped when they saw me and tilted their heads. I kneeled down and a squirrel cautiously came to me and smelled my hand. Then it shook my finger.

I looked at Fluttershy "Um....did that squirrel just...?"

"Yes. That means he likes you."

"I see." I looked at the squirrel again. "It's um...nice to meet you to?" The squirrel nodded and ran back into the house. "That squirrel isn't like Earth squirrels, that's for sure."

Fluttershy motioned the animals to go back inside and started to walk inside. She turned around and welcomed me inside. I nodded and entered her home.

I looked around and saw bird houses hanging from the ceiling and various houses for the ground critters to stay in. I sat down on the couch. A small white rabbit bounced in from another room.

"That's my pet rabbit Angel. Say hi to our guest Angel." Fluttershy said and Angel gave me the most un-amused look it seemed he could muster and pointed to the door. "Now Angel! That's not very nice!"

I laughed. "Was I just told to leave?" Angel nodded his head. "Well that's too bad Angel 'cause I'm not leaving. Unless Fluttershy wants me to leave?"

"Oh, no I couldn't ask you to leave yet. You only just got here."

"See little bunny? Tough luck for you." He stomped out of the room. "What is his problem?"

"He gets like that sometimes. Sorry..."

"It's fine. Maybe he's hungry? I don't know..."

She perked up and looked at her wall clock. "Oh no! I can't believe I forgot. Thank you for reminding me." She went into the kitchen and started preparing Angel's food. 'Fucking rabbit has a bad attitude.' I thought. She came out of the kitchen holding a plate with her teeth, and placed it on a small table in front of Angel and went on to feed the other animals. I offered to help but she said it was fine.

Once she was done with feeding her animals she sat down on the chair next to the window.

"So....what did you think of the Princesses?"

"They were nicer then I thought they would be. I think I like Luna a bit more though, not sure."

"R-really? She's kinda....scary."

"A little more intimidating than Celestia yeah, but she's not that bad."

"I suppose you're right. What do you think about Equestria?"

"It's really nice from what I've seen. Twilight and Applejack are real nice and so are the others. But you seem to be nicer then them all." 'Wait am I really hitting on a pony? Shit I should leave now.'

"You....you really think so?"

"Of course!"

She blushed. "T-thank you. You're really nice too."

"I try to be. Well Fluttershy I think I need to get going."

"Why? I-if you don't mind me asking..."

"I want to do some exploring before I leave. Nothing against you or anything."

"Do you mind if I-I come with you?"

'Why do you want to come with me?' "Um I guess not. Maybe you could show me around?"

"Oh that would be wonderful."

"Shall we get going then?"

"Sure! Just let me check on my animal friends again before we leave."

"Ok."

What...did I just get myself into?
