Chapter Fifty One

Diamond Tiara

I leaned against the wall of the crystal cave and admired my pink dress in the reflection. Mom may not allow me and the others to wear super short dresses and skirts, so all I had was modest clothing. I was perfectly fine with that but Silver Spoon wasn’t as usual.

“Where’s Sunset?” Silver asked as she posed with a hand on her hip as I examined her silver dress.

“Making out with Derpy around the corner,” I said with a mischievous smirk. Derpy was cool. She liked hanging out with me.

“I think I know how that’s going to end,” Scootaloo grinned with a wink. “Mainly with harder and yes being shouted. Multiple times.”

“You’re disgusting,” I scoffed and flicked her cheek. Scootaloo was the more dirty out of the four of us, when it comes to her jokes and such.

“Seriously!” Silver chimed in with a frown.

“I’m going back to my cabin. We leave in a few days as is,” I shrugged as the three of us started to walk to the exit.

“Where are you going?” Sugarcoat asked and pushed her glasses up as she sat cross legged on the floor next to Sour Sweet.

“Cabin,” Silver said simply as the two girls stood up.

“Sunset requested we keep you out of trouble,” Sour smirked and cracked her knuckles as I gulped. “I absolutely adore watching over children.”

“We are fine,” I rolled my eyes as I kept walking with my sisters. “Thanks for the concern though.”

The two girls paused and looked at each other as Scootaloo gave me a smirk.

“Wanna race to the cabin?”

“I’m in a dress!” I shot back and glared at her. “I’m not ruining my good dress to indulge you and your crazy athleticism.”

“Athletawhat?” Scootaloo asked in confusion as we kept walking.

“Nothing.”

We opened the tent flap and stepped inside. I scrunched up my nose in faith disgust at the mess and smell.

“What on earth happened here?” I demanded and wheeled on my sisters. “I just cleaned in here!”

“It wasn’t me!” Scootaloo said hastily with a confused expression. I sighed and nodded.

“Okay. Let’s just clean this up, you know how mom and I are about cleanliness.”

“Okay,” Scootaloo sighed as I picked up some underwear with a pen and tossed it on Scootaloos bed. I raised and eyebrow, freezing as I glanced outside.

“Did you guys hear that?” I asked as my sisters shook their head. “I heard something outside. I’ll go check. Probably Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle trying to prank us.”

I would be the first to die in a horror movie or the zombie apocalypse. I stepped outside and looked around.

“I know you’re out here Bloom and Sweetie!” I called out. “If you trashed our cabin, I’m beating you up.”

“They’re not here,” Dad or well, Filthy I suppose I should call him. “Don’t scream. Just hear me out. I want my daughters back. I know I may have left Spoiled to raise you while I was gone often but it was to make money for you guys to have a way better life.”

“No,” I sighed and shook my head. “I know but I have a family now. That legitimately loves me. Sun-” Filthy placed a hand over my mouth and I gagged.

“Don’t,” Filthy pleaded. “I just want to talk.”

“Put the girl down.”

Filthy and I jumped slightly as our eyes widened. Sour Sweet was kneeling behind us with an arrow notched, aimed at Filthys head. Sugarcoat stood behind her with an arrow aimed as well with a frown.

“Unless you want a thirty inch hole in your head,” Sugarcoat added coldly as she narrowed her eyes.

“You won’t do it. You’re just a kid.”

“Try me,” Sour said coolly as she flexed a finger. “Do it Indigo.” An arrow whistled past my head and impaled in the ground in front of us. I flicked my eyes to a hidden Indigo Zap on the roof of a nearby cabin as she notched another arrow.

“Fine,” Filthy let me go and Sunny Flare gestured me over as I ran over and she hugged me. Lemon Zest stepped forward from behind Filthy and hit him with a bat. “Urgh!”

“Meet Lucy,” Lemon growled as she rested the bat on her shoulder. “Lucille was taken. Fucking Negan.”

“Are you hurt?” Sunny asked as she looked me up and down.

“I would never hurt her. That was Spoileds thing,” Filthy scoffed as he pushed himself up. That was true, he never did lay a hand on me or Silver.

“Get out of here,” I sighed and pointed. “Leave Camp Everfree alone. Just go and we will forget about all this.”

“Are you insane?” Sour hissed in my ear Indigo jumped off the cabin and jogged over. “He broke the law being around you. Lock him up!”

“No,” I said and shook my head. “While he never stood up for us, he always was nice. He gets this one opportunity to stay away and based off the arrow Indigo shot at him, I’d say he’s taking it seriously.”

“Fine,” Sour grumbled and folded her arms. “There better not be a next time.”

“How did you even know this was happening?” I demanded and stared at the Shadowbolts.

“We followed you,” Sugarcoat answered and rolled her eyes. “Cheerilee would have killed us if we let him leave with you. Besides, we’re classmates.”

“Uh what?”

“We kinda transferred schools,” Indigo rubbed the back of her head. “Principal Twinkleshine got fired because she wasn’t as strict as Cinch. She defended us all and fought against the school board and yeah. So Professor Moondancer, Lemon Hearts and Dean Cadence all quit in protest and they all got hired at chs. Principal Twinkleshine is teaching astronomy at chs next week. Lemon Hearts is doing a home ec class, Cadence is the counselor and Moondancer is teaching multiple sciences classes.”

“Crystal Prep is already shitty,” Lemon admitted sheepishly. “We didn’t even get thanked for getting the school the yacht party by our classmates so yeah. And we could learn more about friendship at the source.”

That made sense. Together, we watched Filthy get in his car and drive off.
