Chapter 3:

THE SLEEPOVER



After Rainbow Dash had set up her sleeping bag, Fluttershy, her new-found lover trotted over, literally glowing with excitement.

"I can't wait to hear what movie you brought!" Fluttershy squeaked through her wide smile.

"Well, your gonna LOVE it!" the rainbow pegasus said, also radiating excitement. "It's... MANEHATTAN MASSACRE! Best scary movie ever! It's even in 3-D, so that just makes it better!"

"I don't think I like scary movies very much but... OK, i'll give it a try!" Fluttershy said nervously, her smile starting to die down.

After Fluttershy made popcorn, Rainbow Dash popped the DVD into the DVD-player, and started it.
"Hey, Fluttershy! Is the popcorn done yet? I already put the movie in, and I'm about to press play!" The cyan pony said, attempting, and succeeding to make Fluttershy hurry into the room. When she sat down, some popcorn spilled over the side of the gigantic bowl the yellow pegasus had used to make way too much popcorn.

"Dang Flutters, do you think we'll eat THAT much popcorn?" Rainbow asked with surprise in her voice.

"Of course not, but I didn't rreally know how much we were going to need so I just made a lot, is it bad that I made so much? Did I already ruin my first sleepover? Is it burnt? Did I use too much butter? Is there enough salt? Do you..." 

Fluttershy continued firing questions at Rainbow until she finally got annoyed and said "It;s fine Fluttershy! No, you didn't ruin the sleepover. No, it's not burnt, no it's just enough butter and there is enough salt! Now let's just get the movie started ok? Fluttershy?"

Rainbow Dash didn't expect to make the other pony cry from all her yelling. "Look, I'm sorry Fluttershy! I didn't mean to yell. I'm so sorry." Rainbow planted a kiss on her favorite pony's cheek and said "There, does that make it better?"

After that little kiss, Fluttershy stopped sobbing and they watched the movie in silence. Well, except the occasional shriek from Fluttershy, which happened a bit too much. Fluttershy cuddled with her mate the whole time, and Rainbow Dash enjoyed having her so close. After the movie, they played truth or dare. And of course, Rainbow Dash picked dare every time, which wasn't a very good idea.

The game of Truth or Dare resulted in Fluttershy revealing many secrets, as she picked truth ever time. And because of all the things Rainbow made her say, the cyan pony also did some VERY embarrassing things. Including rolling in mud then having to take a long shower until she smelled... good. She also had to do the Cinnamon challenge and to drink her own sweat after running around for a while.

Both ponies were exhausted by the time Fluttershy's clock struck midnight. That's when they went to sleep.
But Fluttershy wouldn't let Rainbow sleep on the floor, so they shared a bed. Before then slept, they said goodnight.

"Goodnight Fluttershy, and thanks for letting me sleep in your bed instead of on the ground." Rainbow said

"No problem Rainbow Dash. Besides, we are kind of, dating now right? So we should share a bed. It's the right thing" Fluttershy said, before locking lips with her very special somepony.

Before they went to bed, they realized they didn't brush their teeth, and luckily Rainbow Dash remembered her tooth brush. While they were brushing their teeth, Rainbow finished early and the stated to nuzzle into Fluttershy's neck.

"Don't tell anypony about this, alright Flutters?" Rainbow asked, sounding very serious. Fluttershy nodded and they finished brushing her teeth also.

When they climbed back into bed, they again kissed each other good night. They cuddled up ans started to sleep, although Rainbow Dash didn't fall asleep until about 10 minutes after Fluttershy, and while she was a wake during that time, she as thinking about how the next day was going to be.

She finally couldn't stay awake any longer and practically passed out from being so tired.

While she slept, she had a rather strange dream...
