//------------------------------// // What?! // Story: The luck in our stars. // by KingSombraTheTyrantRuler //------------------------------// Princess Luna's P.O.V The week went by quickly, and before I knew it, it was time for my date with Sombra. Once midnight, I flew to the crystal empire. I landed on Sombra's balcony, and said, "Sombra, I'm here." When I didn't hear Sombra coming, I asked, "Sombra? Tonight's our date, remember?" I turned around, and jumped upon seeing Sombra. I put a hoof on my chest. "Sombra! You scared me!" He just laughed and said, "Nothing's wrong with having a little fun." He saw my glare and stopped laughing. "I'll forgive you this time.", I sighed. "Let's go and get some ice cream then?", he asked. "Sure.", I replied. King Sombra's P.O.V: Once at the ice cream restaurant, we sat at a table and ate our ice cream. I was so busy eating my ice cream that I didn't see the smirk on Luna's face. Suddenly, I felt something cold on my cheek. I looked up to see that Luna was throwing ice cream at me. "Hey!", I said. "What's hey about?", she asked. "You're throwing ice cream at me!", I exclaimed. "And?", Luna asked as if there was nothing wrong with that. "It's payback for what you did to me before." "But you said that you forgave me.", I told her. "I tricked you.", she told me. "After all, nothing's wrong with having a little fun, right?" I smirked as an idea formed inside my head. "Then let's have a snow battle?", I offered. "Let's get started!", said Luna. We were outside of the Crystal Empire's shield that was made by the crystal heart. The surroundings were covered with snow. Luna threw a snow ball at me, and I quickly got one ready to throw at her. It hit her right on her face. Blinking away the snow, she told me, "You cannot defeat me so easily!" I got hit. I wiped my face with a hoof, and then I told her, "You cannot defeat me so easily either!" With a battle cry, I threw a snow ball at Luna, only for her to block it with a shield. "Hey! You never said that we could use shields!" "But you never said that we couldn't.", Luna smirked at me. She threw a snow ball, and I quickly used a shield to prevent it from hitting my face. After our snow ball fight, we both had warm showers. I was waiting for Luna to finish hers. Once she came out, she sat next to me and asked, "Have you found the reason why I'm being pestered by those creatures?" I nodded, "Yes, I have." "Tell me then?", she asked. I took a deep breath and said, "Luna, you know that spell I gave you for giving your sister nightmares?" She nodded, and I continued, "I did some tests, and found out that if used incorrectly, it creates a creature called the Tantabus which gives its host nightmares and tries to corrupt it." "Is there any way to get rid of it?", Luna asked, hope in her eyes. I looked at the ground as I said, "I'm sorry, Luna. There isn't." "So I guess I'll be stuck with it for the rest of my life then.", she muttered and flew off, crying. "Luna, wait!" , I called after her, but she ignored me. Princess Luna's P.O.V: My hope shattered as Sombra replied, "I'm sorry, Luna. There isn't." "So I guess I'll be stuck with it for the rest of my life then.", I muttered before flying off, crying. "Luna, wait!", Sombra called after me, but I ignored him. I kept on flying. It wasn't easy to accept the fact that I would be stuck with the Nightmist and Tantabus for the rest of my life. I had hoped that Sombra would've found a way to get rid of them. I landed on my balcony, and used a spell to remove all traces of tears. I then lowered the moon as Celestia raised the sun. I walked into my room, and threw myself on the bed. I dug my face into my pillow and tried to calm myself. I heard a popping sound, and saw a letter appear. It had Sombra's seal on it. I read, "Luna, I'm sorry. I didn't mean for this to happen, I swear! Please forgive me. From Sombra." It was a lot different from all the other letters he had sent me, but that was because he must have written it in a hurry. I put the letter away, and went back to my bed. I wasn't going to write a reply. I would forgive Sombra, but not today. Not now. I just needed some space. Some time to myself completely. I cried some more, and then fell asleep.
