My Little Pokémon

The Dragon Force

The Seas of Unova. Underwater. Near the Sea Temple. Late afternoon.

Near the Sea Temple, Frillish was still floating across the water unconscious. The Floating Pokemon had yet to awaken at all and it seemed like he would just drift there aimlessly against the rubble of rocks caused by the previous battle between Lunar Ire and Necrozma.

But that wasn't the case. Coming to his rescue was Princess Luna. She was making her way outside of the Sea Temple, hoping it wasn't too late. Frillish was drifting further away along with Luna's crown which had previously been knocked off via the battle with Necrozma.

"Wait for me, Frillish!" Luna cried out while soaring through the air. Being on a higher level meant that she could see so much from here. And she certainly did. At the moment, Shining Armor, the guards and a few of Ash's Pokemon were currently going against Team Plasma.

They moved across the Sea Temple with constant Pokemon moves being thrown around. Luna wished to assist, but she would have to do it later. Frillish was her top priority. The Princess of the Moon made sure to stay out of view as to not blow her cover.

It wasn't just Ash's Pokemon along with the guards, Luna's Pokemon were approaching the scene for assistance as well. And it started with Darkrai using Thunderbolt on the floor. Sparks flowed throughout the floors of the temple, racing towards Team Plasma's Pokemon.

Thankfully, most of the guards owned Golurk so they were fine and free from damage. Pidgeot made sure to stay in the air while Lucario jumped away. Aegislash simply hovered as Sirfecth'd used his shield to protect Dracovish and everyone else. But, Team Plasma's Pokemon were exposed to it, receiving 100,000 volts.

Luna continued flying, turning her head away from the scene while her friends take care of everything from here. There were no obstacles in her way, however, she noticed that Colress was exempt from this battle. Mainly because he was using his vehicle to avoid everything and advance. Luna wanted to see what he was up to, but again, Frillish was the main priority.

After exiting the temple, Luna had used the Underwater Breathing Spell on herself, giving her 20 minutes maximum to breathe underwater. But she won't need those minutes at all.

Luna then lit up the ocean with her magic, casting a vibrant light to try and find her spectral partner. Due to the previous battle between her and Necrozma, rocks were the most common objects floating around. Nothing but rubble as a majority of the Water-Type Pokemon had fled due to the chaos.

She sliced apart the abundance of rubble due to how much there was of it. The seas were also vastly silent with many of the Water-Types fleeing. The only other sound nearby was the ongoing conflict. Both at the Sea Temple or via the Grand Equestria and the Sunstorm.

And after zooming through the seas and cutting apart any rock that stood in her way, Luna came across her fallen friend, drifting aimlessly still with nothing to catch him. "Frillish!" She cried out, increasing her speed to reach him.

The Princess of the Night held her hooves out, allowing for Frillish to land on them. And he did. Gently, Frillish had landed in the soft grace of Luna's hooves. Even when being in these familiar hooves, Frillish did not wake up. Luna smiled at him afterwards before holding out a Poke Ball with her magic.

"You fought bravely today. Rest well, my friend." She had finally returned Frillish into his ball, allowing the Floating Pokemon to experience the cosiness of the Poke Ball.

Now with Frillish safe and currently resting, Luna had much to do with Lunar Ire by her side. But, her next target wasn't the Sea Temple. Instead, it was the surface. Considering that Team Plasma was here, that meant that the Sunstorm had appeared as well.

But as Luna was ready to enter the surface, Tempest Shadow meanwhile, had entered the Sea Temple just now. However, upon entering, she wasn't instantly going to pursue Jackie. There was no need for that since her only goal was to reach the temple, and she did successfully.

Once inside, Tempest then lit up her horn. But not to engage in the current battle. "Those crystals are nothing but light energy. Should be easy to find then."

She would use magic to track down any form of light energy. None of the crystals in the Treasure Room were being used at the moment but their light could still be felt. However, there was one crystal in a secret room that being used and was radiating both light draconic energy.

The crystal that held the Dragon Force. That caught Tempest's attention instantly. It was impossible to ignore how potent it was.

Meanwhile, the Princess of the Night instantly ascended, heading to the surface as quickly as she could, leaving behind massive bubbles from how much pressure she was making.

And it was swift. Swifter than even Luna was used to. She emerged from the sea, forming a spiral of water that surrounded her. The way the moonlight sparkles around the droplets of water was wonderful. And her appearance was noted and recognized by everypony.

"Princess Luna!" The Canterlot and Crystal Empire guards cried out with joy after seeing their princess show up. So far, things looked even on the surface. The terrifying force of both empires was only equalized by the sheer strength of the Golurk.

But that was all about to change.

Luna gave her opponents a smile that they would never forget. One that seemed innocent at first but held the full force of utter defeat. By using her heightened and controlled magic as a result of Lunar Ire, Luna had manipulated the sea itself to her will.

With her aura covering the water, a tidal wave had risen with her control. At the same time, the ships and opposing Pokemon had targeted Princess Luna once they caught wind of her.

Luna decided to quickly put an end to this conflict on the surface. She made a large flash of light that instantly blinded the opposing Flying-Types that came her way and even those on the ship. She then made them all crash into this tidal wave. But not only did they crash into it but they were also being spun around by it.

Luna then made the tidal wave flow towards the Sunstorm with the Pokemon and ships still within them. Spitfire, who was currently on top of a Skarmory and exempt from the wave, witnessed this destructive form of water attack the ship as quickly as it arrived.

Those within the Sunstorm had been met with this tidal wave as many of the Pokemon had been forced inside of it while the ships had crashed. The pilots inside cried out before quickly scurrying their way outside of the ships.

The Sunstorm had also been carried away by the tidal wave, moving further away from the opposing ship, the Grand Equestria. Luna had made that much of a difference. Her allies cheered for her amazing display as Spitfire merely narrowed her eyes while lowering her magical glasses. She then put her glasses on to read the magic coming from Luna.

"Oh!" Spitfire gasped once sensing the immense magic spike that wasn't there before. "It's been a while since we've seen another alicorn magic be heightened. This we don't need..."

Seeing that Luna had become a greater threat than anticipated, Spitfire was ready to finish this mission as soon as she and everypony else could But not with this in their way. Spitfire quickly hopped off Skarmory, heading back to the ship.

As for the Sunstorm, despite being attacked by that massive tidal wave, it was still active and healthy. The durability on it was stellar. However, most of the opponents had been taken out by Luna, giving her side the greatest advantage they could have. The Golurk advanced onto the Sunstorm, taking the chance of this advantage.

"Time to retreat for now. But we'll make a turnaround afterwards." Spitfire landed on the bow of the ship, giving the order to those who haven't been attacked by the tidal wave. The Sunstorm, while durable, could not stand up to this kind of magic on its own. Especially from an alicorn.

The best option now was to retreat. That was the order given to them as the Sunstorm was about to do just that. The same way it left before. Via teleportation. The same golden light from before covered the entire ship from every corner.

And just like regular teleportation, they were gone in a flash. However, Luna wasn't so blind about their next approach. She turned to the Grand Equestria to give out information.

"They're clearly not leaving entirely. They still need those crystals after all." To track them down, Luna used her magic on the sea once more. This time, forming a path. A path for the Grand Equestria follow as she started tracking down any form of magic nearby.

Her magic sensing flowed across the sea until she found one source. Spitfire's magical sunglasses. They were magical objects at the end of the day, thus they were vulnerable to Luna's senses. "There."

After sensing them, the path turned blue, leading in the direction of the Sunstorm. Princess Luna then pointed her hoof forward, ordering them to follow that pathway. The guards saluted as they were about to do just that. The Grand Equestria followed this pathway that led to the Sunstorm.

Luna made sure to link it with her magical senses so that it would always follow the Sunstorm. Even she didn't know she could do that. Just a neat little addition for fully bonding with Lunar Ire.

Afterwards, Luna made her way underwater to help out the rest of her friends.

Samiya. The Sea Temple.

As for Carlita, she had the crystal that possessed the Dragon Force. Only she could use it and that time was now. All Carlita had to do was use the natural light of a Dragon Trainer to make it work. Previously, she had used it but failed. Her arms felt shaky after using it.

"It's so aggressive..." She uttered while shuddering a bit. "Second times' the charm maybe." She took a deep breath while letting her light flow. Immediately, the light reacted to the crystal, sensing the blood of the People of the Vale. A familiar descendant.

The golden light was promptly replaced by a green light. Carlita could feel her hands tremble. once more And that only made sense. If used wisely, the Dragon Force can create a harmonious power but if used wrongly, the Dragon Force can become a destructive and violent energy that threatens to destroy the planet and all that live on it.

So there was certainly pressure.

Carlita wasn't used to something like that. But being the trainer of a ferocious Pokemon such as Hydreigon allowed her to have a chance. That was no small feat as Hydreigon is highly difficult to tame. However, the Dragon Force was on a different level as Carlita dropped the crystals, feeling her hands burn.

"Ow!" She cried out, squatting and putting her hands in her clothes to try and cool them off. "It's so hot!"

"Are you alright?!" A man asked after seeing Carlita receive this hand burn.

"I didn't think it would sting like that..." She breathed in and out. "I don't know if I can do this."

"You have to. The Dragon Force is one of if not the greatest defence we have here in the Sea Temple. Without it, we remain vulnerable to many."

"I know, I know but..." Carlita looked at her burnt hands. She had never been burned so badly before. In fact, she's never been burned at all. "I wish my parents and brother were to help out at least."

"I don't think they will." Just then, tracking down the force of light coming from the secret room was Tempest Shadow. Due to the usage of the crystal, she was able to track it. The first crystal had been found.

"!" The People of the Water gasped after seeing the arrival of Tempest Shadow. She was unfamiliar to them and it was hard to tell if she was a friend or foe.

"W-Who are you?" Carlita stood up while still having her hands in her sweater. She wasn't sure how to properly react to Tempest's appearance.

Tempest didn't say anything. Instead, she had done what Daybreaker had ordered everyone to do if they found the crystals. At least one of them. Immediately send them to Necrozma. And to that, a gateway was required. Tempest could not make a gateway unless she had a Travel Sphere.

Which she did. Taking it out, Tempest had thought of the area that she wanted to connect to. Universe 11. Responding to her thoughts, the Travel Sphere summoned the gateway, right at the near end of this secret room. Everyone startled with their hearts skipping a beat once the sound of the gateway boomed into existence.

Carlita already knew about the existence of the gateways so she prepared herself for the worst. She removed one of her hands to grab her Poke Ball, readying for whatever was coming through.

Coming into view within the gateway was Daybreaker. Her fearsome yet beautiful face with her blazing mane was seen by the People of the Water and Carlita. Tempest then used her magic to lift up the crystal, ready to allow Necrozma to absorb it all.

"!" But reacting to this was Carlita, who had taken her other hand out, grabbing the crystal. "I knew there was something off about you!"

"Hm?" Daybreaker uttered after witnessing the abrupt action.

"Let go, why don't you?" Tempest scoffed as she made the crystal hover higher in the air. But Carlita held on tight, despite having burnt hands. She was being lifted off the floor from this due to her heavy grip. But she wasn't alone.

The People of the water held onto Carlita, helping her stay static and protecting the crystal. Carlita dropped her Poke Ball, having her other hand latch onto the crystal. Tempest actually needed to put some effort in. Multiple people helping out would do that to anyone.

"This is just sad." Daybreaker shook her head before exiting the gateway. She didn't want any time to be wasted at all. Thus, the Solar Empress appeared in the Pokemon World, lighting up this relatively dark room. "I'll take that."

With simplicity, Daybreaker easily pushed the People of the Water back, separating them from Carlita. But Carlita still held on, surprising Daybreaker. Carlita was dropped from the air while pulling the crystal closer to her.

"That's enough. You're no match for alicorn magic!" Tempest exclaimed while using her magic to try and pull Carlita away. Now she was being pulled from both sides.

Tempest had a point. Carlita might have the guts to keep the crystal for a bit but eventually, the superior power would overpower her. Knowing this, Carlita put her trust in an equally superior power. Hydreigon.

"H-Hydreigon, help!" She kicked the Poke Ball in Daybreaker's direction, calling for Hydreigon. Kicking it counted as throwing it as the ball had unleashed the Brutal Pokemon.

"HYDREIGON!" After emerging, Hydreigon let out a bellowing roar that caused a wind pressure within the secret room. Daybreaker, Tempest and everyone else had been blown back by Hydreigon's roar. Daybreaker was only slightly pushed back. Not that much.

Carlita took deep breaths while still holding onto the crystal. Thankfully, since the Dragon Force wasn't being used, Carlita felt no burns at all as Hydreigon stared down Daybreaker.

"There's always something in the way, isn't there...?" Daybreaker sighed. "That's fine. It's fine. It's to be expected anyway. Sometimes it can be fun when there's a challenge. Getting the light from that crystal will be more rewarding.

"Keep dreaming. You won't be getting anything from this crystal." Carlita argued before standing up.

"Maybe not that one." Daybreaker shrugged. "But the other crystals are up for grabs, aren't they?"

"I don't think so. Hydreigon, force her back in with Hyper Voice!"

"Hydrei...!" Hydreigon huffed and puffed, ready to use a heightened voice to blow everything away from a massive radius. However, Daybreaker stood there unphased.

That was because Necrozma was there to aid her.

Flying out of the gateway was the Prism Pokemon, arriving just in time to prevent Hydreigon's attack from landing on Daybreaker. "GON!" The Psychic-Type put up his arms, blocking Hydreigon's soundwave with sheer endurance alone.

Not only did he block it but he also ended up reflecting the soundwave back at Hydreigon. The Brutal Pokemon was struck by his own attack as the walls around this secret room trembled. Due to how old and abandoned it was, eventually, it could all come crashing down.

"H-Hydrei!"

"A Pokemon Battle it is!" Carlita uttered, pointing at Necrozma. "Hydreigon, use DragonBreath!"

"Drei!" Hydreigon quickly recovered, unleashing a breath of draconic energy towards the Prism Pokemon. Daybreaker promptly accepted Carlita's challenge.

"Very well then. Dragon Pulse, Necrozma!"

Necrozma retaliated with a similar move. Countering the breath was a shockwave from his hands. The two Dragon-Type moves met upon contact with the walls shuddering once more. The People of the Water could see that this battle between two powerful Pokemon was just bound to ring the whole place down.

And so did Carlita after witnessing one of the pillars crumble due to the explosion of both moves clashing against each other. "It's not safe here right now. We should leave now, Hydreigon!"

"Hydrei!"

"Not before I get that crystal. And what happened to the Pokemon, battle hm?" Daybreaker raised an eyebrow. "Necrozma, Giga Impact!"

Necrozma crossed his arms while coating himself in an invisible aura. Afterwards, he had charged headfirst towards the Dark-Dragon-Type while tearing the ground apart.

"Hydreigon, counter with Flamethrower, quick!"

"Hy-" But it was too late. Necrozma with his amazing speeds had crashed into Hydreigon. And with this powerful impact, Hydreigon was not only sent flying across the room and out of it as well by crashing through the door but everything was crashing down as well.

The People of the Water made a run for it once they saw how everything was crumbling around them. The door didn't need to be open since Hydreigon's flying body had already obliterated it.

As for Hydreigon, he tumbled on the floor after being knocked silly. But that wasn't enough to make him faint. Not a Pokemon as durable as him.

Carlita quickly ran over to Hydreigon's side, only for Necrozma to grab her with his massive claws. Little recharge time was needed for the Prism Pokemon due to the power he had gained earlier.

"L-Let go!" Carlita cried out, kicking and flailing with the walls and ceiling coming down. Unfortunately, flailing and kicking wouldn't do much against Necrozma's powerful grip. Not only did he have Carlita in his grasp, but he also had the crystal too. Just what he needed.

Necrozma began feeding off of the crystal's light, already feeling the Dragon Force. Carlita could see that her struggles were in vain when it came to Necrozma's hold. She also saw the light energy being sapped away by Necrozma. All of that destructive power that has enough force to destroy the planet was being taken.

Carlita couldn't let that happen. Having something as special as this which connects to her people be lifeless wasn't something that she would allow. So, knowing how painful it was for her, Carlita had then decided to use the power of the crystal herself.

Using the Dragon's Light, Carlita's aura was forming. She promptly fought back against Necrozma as the crystal reacted more to Carlita than it did to Necrozma.

Necrozma sensed Carlita's interruption. This displeased him. He wanted the light all for himself due to his massive greed and hunger. Having someone else take the light bothered him.

"This stings...!" Carlita cried out after feeling the immense heat of the Dragon Force. It didn't help that Necrozma was interacting with it too.

There was a duality clash now. Carlita was using the power for protection while Necrozma was for greed. The good and bad parts of the Dragon Force started clashing against each other but due to Necrozma's superior grasp on it, the Dragon Force shifted to the scales of evil.

Carlita closed her eyes, allowing her light to grow even further as Hydreigon finally got up. Her clothes were starting to heat up too but she kept her stubborn nature intact.

But it was hopeless, the Dragon Force, even though it responded to Carlita the most, it was inevitably Necrozma who had the superior control. Thus, the natural green energy of the Dragon Force shifted into the destructive and corrupted purple energy.

The same energy that once flowed through Unova and threatened to destroy the planet had been unleashed. It immediately tore through the floorboards and the already crumbling walls of the room. Carlita was through. Her light had faded as she couldn't keep it up.

Hydreigon quickly flew to Carlita to try and save her, but the Dragon Force got in the way. The Brutal Pokemon was knocked back by the gigantic flow of corrupted energy. Any closer and the results would be catastrophic. "Hydreigon!"

"H-Hydreigon! Don't worry about me!" Carlita cried out. "Just get help!"

"This is more serious than I thought..." Daybreaker's eyes widened as she was not aware of the Dragon Force. She believed that this was just standard light energy. But it was much more than that. She stepped back, seeing that the Dragon Force had almost damaged her. Tempest had also backed away from this destructive power.

Hydreigon wanted to help his trainer desperately. But that blasted Dragon Force said otherwise. Heeding the words of Carlita, Hydreigon went to find help, flying off.

"You stubborn girl. You still won't let go even during this?!" Daybreaker was confused as to why Carlita wouldn't drop the crystal at all.

"I won't let you have it all!" Carlita roared back. But it didn't matter. To both of them. The violent power of the Dragon Force had knocked even Necrozma back. The Prism Pokemon cried out whilst dropping Carlita. "Never!"

Carlita, despite her gutsy nature, could not hold onto it for long. Thus, her grip on it ended. The heat of the crystal overwhelmed her greatly as the secret room was being consumed by the Dragon Force with the floor tearing in half.

"Did you get your fill, Necrozma?" Daybreaker asked as Necrozma nodded. Despite being pushed back, he received a great deal of energy and practically all of it from the crystal. "In that case...we'll take a different route next. Tempest."

"Yes?" Tempest stood up.

"Open a gateway elsewhere. This time in the room where all the crystals can be found. We'll be back soon." Daybreaker ordered before being almost consumed by the Dragon Force. She and Necrozma had jumped back into the gateway.

But before it could close, Daybreaker poked her head through the gateway. She saw that Carlita was passed out on the floor, unable to do anything against the raging energy of the Dragon Force. Feeling some sort of pity for the girl, Daybreaker decided to do something.

She used her mighty magic to grab Carlita off the floor before she could fall into the abyss that had just formed from the Dragon Force. Or worse, being destroyed by the Dragon Force. Without Carlita knowing and only Tempest, Daybreaker saved her life.

Wherever in the temple she could see, Daybreaker carried the girl far away from the secret room. "And get this girl as far away from this energy as possible." She ordered Tempest.

"Oh uh..." Tempest was surprised by this next order. "Yes! Will do!"

But now, a greater threat than Team Plasma, the Solar Empire, Twilight Imperium and even Necrozma was forming. The threat of the Dragon Force.

Due to it being unleashed with a corrupted force, it began tearing through the Sea Temple with no remorse. And while everyone else may be unaware of its presence, eventually, with how visible and voracious it is, they will all soon notice the impending destruction coming this way as the journey continues.

Chapter 619 End.
