Zipping Up the Overdrive Gangster Battle!


Giorno and Bucciarati are about ten feet across from each other with their Stand in front ready to battle each other again while the Joestar Brothers and the Rainbooms are watching from the sideline, everything became silence as the two enemies are just staring at each other. Trying to predict which one will make the first move and be ready for whatever happens next, then a feather from some of the birds Fluttershy called earlier gotten to Pinkie Pie’s nose causing her to sneeze.

That’s when Bucciarati let Zipper Man charge forward to throwing a roundhouse kick which Golden Wind blocks with its right arm.

“(There!)” Giorno thought believed to have found an opening.

He has Golden Wind push Zipper Man’s leg up leaving itself open to be attack on the chest and the yellow Stand didn’t waste time to launch the punch, but Zipper Man was able to block that with one knee pushing it aside.

“You’ll have to be faster than that if you want to do some damage to me!” Bucciarati said.

“Damn, this guy’s reaction time is sick!” Josuke surprised.

The vulture Giorno created swoops in to help its master against the enemy though Bucciarati was able to see it coming for him.

“Don’t think I will fall for the same trick twice!” Bucciarati stated as Zipper Man punched a light pole splitting it in half.

“What is he up to?” Jonathan wondered.

“Come and get me!” Bucciarati taunted the vulture.

The vulture screeches in rage and charges at the blue Stand as it brought up its arms to defend against the talons which scratches the arms a little, and those scratches also appeared on Bucciarati’s arms.

“(Since that bird was created from Giorono’s Stand, it should be reasonable to it can also hurt a Stand as well.)” Bucciararti thought of a theory which is proven to be right.

Giorno notice that Bucciararti is up to something involve the vulture he created with Golden Wind’s life energy until he saw the Zipper Man is slowly moving backward to the split light pole and quickly figured out his plan.

“Vulture! Get away from him now!” Giorno ordered.

The vulture just stops attacking and about to fly away, but Zipper Man caught it in its hands before the vicious bird could flap its wings again.

“Too late.” Bucciarati grinned.

Zipper Man leans backward and threw the vulture right to the light pole as the blue Stand reacted faster getting to the zipper pull and zips it up putting the light pole back together, trapping the vulture within the pole.

“Oh no, he trapped the vulture in the light pole!” Johnny gasped.

“Seriously? He can do that?” Rainbow Dash freaked out and confused at the same time.

“Now with your bird trap like that, that special defense ability won’t harm me anymore and I certainly won’t let you create another animal to get the jump on me again!” Bucciarati stated as Zipper Man charges toward Giorno.

“Who says animals are the only things Golden Wind can create?” Giorno smirked as Golden Wind’s fist has been touching the ground.

Suddenly a tree grew big and fast from the ground just as Zipper Man threw the punch that was intended for Giorno’s face, but just like with the vulture, the damaged is reflect back at Bucciarati causing part of his chest and his face to bleed.

“Damn it, so he can create plant life too.” Bucciarati groaned, but not too badly hurt as he was able to pull back the punch at the last second.

“(If I try using Zipper Man’s power on the tree, then I could end up with a zipper on me as well.)” Bucciarati thought carefully of how to approach this.

“You might as well give up. You can’t win against my power, it’s useless.” Giorno stated.

“Yeah! You might as well throw in the towel!” Spike shouted of excitement.

“Keep that cheering on hold, Spike. I get the feeling Bucciarati will do something unexpected to get to Giorno.” Sunset said being cautious.

“Come on, Giorno is a clever guy almost like yours truly, so I’m sure there’s nothing to worry about.” Joseph shrugged.

“Cupcake?” Pinkie handed her boyfriend a cupcake with yellow frosting.

“Oh, don’t mind if I do.” Joseph giggled and ate the cupcake.

“Will you two get real?” Jotaro scolded.

“What will you do now?” Giorno asked while looking down on his opponent.

“Well, I’ll admit you caught me off guard yet again and your Stand is certainly something else entirely.” Bucciarati admitted placing his hand on the spot of the chest where it’s bleeding a little.

“But I think it’s about time I show you a few surprises of my own.” Bucciarati smiled.

“Uh-oh, I don’t like the way he’s smiling.” Applejack worried.

“Prepare yourself for my Flying Zip Punch!” Bucciarati shouted.

“I’m sorry, but the flying what?” Twilight confused.

“It’s probably just a jumping attacking to get to higher view or something like that.” Spike guessed though notice something about how Bucciarati is just standing there.

“Then again with all the crazy powers Stand has, it could be something else.” Spike concerned.

Zipper Man appeared in front of its User again and reel its fist back ready to launch, upon Bucciarati making his own punching movement pointing at Giorno, Zipper Man threw the punch and the unexpected happen: its arm below the elbow suddenly came off and flew straight at Giorno with a zipper string attach.

“OH MY GOOOD?!?!?!” Joseph and Pinkie screamed of shock.

“The Stand launched its own arm like a robot rocket punch!” Josuke gasped.

“Is there nothing that Stand can’t do?” Sunset freaked out.

Giorno is also surprised of this strange flying punch again and quickly summon Golden Wind to punch the attack away though he fears that this attack could be something else too, then his fear came true just as the fists were about to clash. The flying fist open its hand grabbing Golden Wind’s arm with a tight grip much to Giorno’s shock, Bucciararti grins and Zipper Man pulls hard on the string which forced Giorno and Golden Wind off the tree crash onto the street.

“(Damn it, I didn’t think Bucciarati could make his Stand unzip its body parts.)” Giorno thought.

“And now you’re done for!” Bucciarati charged as Zipper Man prepares to launch a kicking attack.

“Giorno!” Fluttershy worried.

“ARIARIARIARIARIARIARI!” Zipper Man launched a furry of barrage kicks.

Golden Wind reacted fast enough to block the kicks with its right arm not letting on attack get to its face though each attack is strong hurting Giorno’s arm a bit.

“I won’t go down like that!” Giorno determined to win this fight.

Golden Wind caught the foot of the Zipper Man and pushes the blue Stand away and threw a fast right punch to the stomach causing Bucciarati to gasp in pain, but the enemy remain standing strong and Zipper Man attacks again.

The two Stand clashes their fists and blocking each other’s attack as Giorno and Bucciarati glare at each other trying to get the upper hand on one another, Golden Wind performs a high kick to the chin but Zipper Man dodges and perform a swing kick to the side which Giorno can feel his side hurting.

Giorno spotted a few pieces of trash next to his Stand and thought of a plan to create a few more animals though smaller like some flies, Golden Wind dodge another punch and threw in an uppercut making Zipper Man stumble back a few feet. This gave Giorno the chance to have Golden Wind go after the little pieces of trash to make his plan come true.

“Fool! I told you, didn’t I?” Bucciarati shouted in rage as Zipper Man is about to do something.

“I wouldn’t let you use that life creating power of yours, and I’m intend to keep my promise as a man!” Bucciarati stated.

Zipper Man threw its own uppercut against the ground and made a zipper appeared on the ground and unzip fast cutting the path between Giorno and the little pieces of trash.

“Damn it…” Giorno cursed.

“You’ll have to move faster than that!” Bucciarati mocked.

“Man, that guy isn’t giving Giorno a break.” Rainbow Dash surprised.

“Not to mention he’s playing it smart to not let him use Golden Wind’s life energy power on any object that could be within reach, guess that goes to show how much of a smartass he is.” Jotaro pointed out.

“Why couldn’t he be one of those minions that are stupid to fool!” Joseph complained.

“(This guy is good, definitely shows that he fought in tough battles and somehow knows what to expect making this really hard for Giorno.)” Fluttershy thought worried for her boyfriend, then saw in his eyes that he isn’t afraid or worry.

“(But he hasn’t given up, not by a long shot. So, I have to believe that his life own overpower Bucciarati!)” Fluttershy thought believed in Giorno’s fighting spirit.

Then suddenly Fluttershy got a weird idea that just came to her head.

“But could that really work?” Fluttershy asked.

“Are you alright, darling?” Rarity asked noticing Fluttershy looked deep in thought.

“Just something Giorno could try against Bucciarati.” Fluttershy answered and look back at Giorno.

Golden Wind attacks Zipper Man with some punches like a boxer with some kicks though the blue Stand was able to block most of them with only the kick getting a small hit on the chin, then Zipper Man shouted “ARI” again throwing a right hook to the face which Golden Wind quickly blocks it though Giorno is pushed back a few feet.

“Well, this battle sure is intense.” Giorno commented.

“Giorno!” Fluttershy called out getting her boyfriend’s attention.

“Put more life into your punches!” Fluttershy advised confusing her friends.

“More life into my punches?” Giorno confused at first until his mind quickly realize what Fluttershy is saying and smiles, giving her a nod.

“Huh, Fluttershy? Was that supposed to be a cheer or something?” Twilight asked.

“Just something I hope that will help Giorno with this fight.” Fluttershy said.

“Alright, I know what I have to do now.” Giorno said confident.

“I don’t know what you’re thinking right now, but whatever you have in mind won’t work.” Bucciarati jumped into the dark space of the zipper ground attack he did earlier.

“What? Where’s he going?” Johnny asked shock.

“I think he just enter his own zipper!” Jonathan guessed as they saw the zipper close and disappeared.

“Be careful, he could appear from where he’ll come from!” Rarity warned.

“Thanks, I know.” Giorno brought out Golden Wind with its guard up as he looks around trying to think where Bucciarati will appear to attack.

“(It looks like that dark thing inside the zipper can be used to hide himself, just have to figure out where he’s gonna strike from.)” Giorno thought.

Giorno saw the vulture still trap in the light pole trying to break free, he decided to help his feathery friend thought carefully make his way while being on guard. Then suddenly a zipper appeared on the ground right next to the light pole with the vulture as Spike was able to see that and gasp.

“Giorno! Look out, on the ground!” Spike alerted the blonde Joestar boy.

Giorno quickly turns around and saw the zipper as it opens up and Bucciarati along with Zipper Man jumps out for the attack.

“I knew you would try to help that Vulture, that kindness will be your downfall!” Bucciarati proclaimed.

“Oh, you think kindness is a weakness…?” Giorno asked with his eyes shadowed.

“Well, allow me to show you just how wrong you are!” Giorno screamed of determination to see the plan Fluttershy helped him come up through to the end, charging straight to Bucciarati.

“Infuse life energy into your fist, Golden Wind!” Giorno commanded as Golden Wind’s right fist glow gold aura fiercely.

Zipper Man tries to stop the golden color Stand from approaching its User, but Golden Wind was able to get past it and elbow Zipper Man on the chest to push it away a little enough to get closer to the man in white clothes.

“No, whatever Giorno is gonna do probably won’t be good… I have to get away!” Bucciarati tried move out of Golden Wind’s range.

However, Golden Wind grabs Bucciarati by the shirt preventing him from escaping this attack and reel its fist back.

“Have a taste of some life energy! Bucciarati!” Giorno said.

Golden Wind release the fist flying straight at Bucciarati sending him flying and crashing into a trash can then making a dent into a mailbox.

“Okay, now let see if that works.” Giorno said to himself.

“Damn it… That really hurt, you certainly don’t hold back.” Bucciarati said as he grabs onto the top of the mailbox, then surprisingly bent it down like it was a paperclip.

“What…? What just happened?” Bucciarati confused of this sudden strength and turns around to Giorno who is approaching him.

“Damn you, Giorno Joestar! Just what did you do to me!” Bucciarati demanded, and suddenly jump that he is now in front of Giorno much to the blue Stand User’s surprise.

“What the… I only met to stand up and walk towards him, but now I’m feeling like my body is bursting with energy and it’s overflowing.” Bucciarati confused as he looks at himself.

“Wait, what I did to that mailbox, could that have been also from this life energy Giorno punched me with?” Bucciarati asked looking back at the mailbox.

Then he just remembers that he was still fighting Giorno and quickly saw his Stand, Golden Wind charging at him with a fist being thrown at him, but Bucciarati saw the Stand’s movements are slow and he moves away then around it fast.

“(My word, everything is moving so slow around me while I’m moving superfast.)” Bucciarati thought noticed that too then smiles.

“Hahahaha! This is incredible! I just became superhuman, and it’s all thanks to you, Giorno Joestar!” Bucciarati laughed exciting before realizing something.

“No, not just you. It was your girlfriend, Fluttershy who came up with the idea thinking giving me this much life energy would bring me down, but instead it made me feel amazing!” Bucciarati pointed at the slow motion Fluttershy.

“A power that supercharges your enemies, that was your biggest mistake!” Bucciarati mocked.

“And now, I am going to use this energy that you have given me to end you with my own hands!” Bucciarati jumped to Giorno’s left side.

“To be honest, fighting you was something I will never forget and… I had hope we could have met differently.” Bucciarati whispered to himself.

Having said his words to his enemy and reel his right arm back and clutching his fist ready to throw in that punch.

“Farewell, Giorno Joestar!” Bucciarati threw the punch at the head then faze right through like a ghost much to his surprise.

“What the…?” Bucciarati confused as he kept moving forward going through his body.

When Bucciarati turns around trying to figure out what is going on here, he gasps with his eyes widen of shock that he is seeing himself back at the mailbox.

“I’m… standing over there with the mailbox and it’s back to standing up! But how?” Bucciarati asked more questions on what is this scene he is looking at.

Then realization crashed into his mind of what is happening to him.

“No, it couldn’t be… I thought I was overflowing with tremendous power, but it’s nothing like that at all. The life energy Giorno punched me somehow separated my conscious from my body!” Bucciarati gasped and saw Golden Wind’s fist flying toward his face.

“No! I have to get out of the way!” Bucciarati tried to get back into his body.

But it was too late as Golden Wind have made contact to Bucciarati’s face right on the left cheek and to the jaw, this made Bucciarati back into his body and the pain is slow but coursing to his head.

“(The pain…!)” Bucciarati thought as the punch made one tooth fly out of his mouth and realized something else.

“(Giorno isn’t moving in slow motion, my consciousness is working in hyperdrive or overdrive!)” Bucciarati thought groaned.

“This win is mine.” Giorno said.

“MUDA!” Golden Wind screamed and sent Bucciarati flying again, crashing into a brick wall and knocking him unconscious.

“Wait, what just happened here?” Rarity confused.

“It was almost like Giorno punch the conscious out of him.” Spike guessed.

“That is mostly correct, giving a living being like Bucciarati with extra lifeforce from Golden Wind causes all of his senses to do overdrive that he couldn’t feel what was happening around him until it was too late.” Giorno explained as he walks to Fluttershy.

With Bucciarati down, the zippers on his body and the light pole became undone.

“Thanks for the idea.” Giorno thanked and Fluttershy smiles, hugging him and they kissed each other.
