"*cough* Is everyone OK?" Beep-0 asked as he took one final cough to make sure the dust was completely out of his system. "I'm good!" Applejack told Beep-0 as he turned and saw her picking up her signature hat, which fell off as the heroes were falling, and put it back on her head before joining him. Rabbid Granny didn't say anything and simply walked up to the pair and cracked her back, releasing some of the pressure. "Great... the temple collapsed, plunging us headlong into the caverns underneath." Beep-0 addressed the situation the group is currently in. "You don't think there are mole people living down here, do you?" "I don't think--" Applejack started to say. "Or centipedes?" Beep-0 continued, not realizing he had cut Applejack off. "Well, maybe, but--" "Centipedes give me the heebie jeebies!" "Beep-0!" Applejack shouted, finally getting his attention. "You were saying?" "Oh right, sorry. Now where was I?" Beep-0 looked at his surroundings, then looked up. Applejack and Rabbid Granny did the same, and they all saw the large hole in the ceiling where there was once a battlefield and a Rabbid Temple. However, from their point of view, the hole was about the size of a peanut, showing exactly how deep underground they all were. "Alas, even the pale moonlight barely penetrates the gloom down here." Beep-0 stated, but then started to have another panic attack. "I'm losing my sense of sight! Language is all but lost - I'm forgetting what things on the surface look like. HELP!" "Bwa-Bwah..." Rabbid Granny said in annoyance as she facepalmed. "Rabbid Rarity must be losing her mind! Rabbid Rarity! Where are--" Beep-0 then stopped as the group saw Rabbid Rarity wearing heart sunglasses and lying on a lounge chair in a spot that had the most moonlight shining into the room. "Yep, she's losing her mind alright." Applejack joked while Rabbid Granny looked at Rabbid Rarity with disapproval. "Rabbid Rarity! How can you moonbathe at a time like this? You should be panicking blindly like me!" Beep-0 stated, but Rabbid Rarity paid absolutely no attention to him. "AHEM... you know there's no phone service this far down right? Hearing that, Rabbid Rarity took off her sunglasses and looked at the robot, then quickly looked down at her phone and saw the one thing that every teenager is afraid of seeing: no bars. Her eye twitched before she screamed and started to run around with her phone, desperately trying to get a signal, with Rabbid Granny laughing at her situation. "Enough! We've got to get a grip. Rabbid Jack is still out there, controlling the apple market with an iron fist." Beep-0 reminded everyone that applejack's counterpart is still causing trouble. Realizing that it was hopeless, Rabbid Rarity collapsed on the ground in front of the group, but held up her phone in one last feeble attempt to get a signal. "We need to CAREFULLY find a way out. This is a dungeon after all, there's bound to be traps and spooky dungeon-stuff. Just think of it as a 'Daring Do' book" Beep-0 explained to the group. "That might be a good place to start" Applejack said as she pointed to a path that was right next to Rabbid Rarity, who finally calmed down and got back up. The heroes walked across a bridge and passed through a golden, Aztec-like gate, and unlike the previous area they were in, which was decomposed and covered in rubble from the cave-in, this area was more clean and ancient. In almost no time at all, they entered the first battlefield, but as soon as the group did, a golden, Rabbid-like totem with glowing green eyes on the opposite side opened up. "Egad! Beware the invulnerable Idol of Recoil! In its unforgiving eyes we are but unworthy interlopers!" Beep-0 explained to the heroes. "It has a strong connection to its worshippers, they are the source of its power." "Who are the worshippers?" Applejack asked. "The enemies on the battlefield. If we defeat its worshippers, the Idol of Recoil will accept us as worthy and not bother us. They're big on rituals, these idols." Defeat All - 5 Ziggies, 4 Bucklers (Obstacle: Idol of Recoil) Applejack scooped up Rabbid Granny, then stopped in an area in the middle of the battlefield, where she bucked Rabbid Granny to an area in the upper right corner, where she Freeze Blasted a Ziggy and a Buckler. She took out her banjo and activated her Magnet Groove, playing music that drew most of the enemies towards her, however, it took a minute for one of the Bucklers to reach her. Using her Buck Slam, she dealt damage to all the enemies, and also triggered a Bounce Effect, which sent them all flying in different directions. This defeated 4 of the Ziggies, but the Bucklers remained. Rabbid Rarity dashed a Buckler, defeating him, then hid behind a full cover. She then sent a Sentry to a Buckler in the upper left corner, which exploded and triggered a Push Effect that sent the enemy Rabbid rolling out of the battlefield before respawning a moment later. Rabbid Granny got a Team Jump from Applejack, and she landed in a spot that was right next to the Idol, where she Freeze Blasted and defeated a Ziggy and a Buckler with the help of a couple of Vamp covers which were also in range of her blast. She then launched a Barrel Bolt at a Buckler in the right corner, triggering an Ink Effect that prevented him from being able to attack, then activated her Stink Eye. The Idol of Recoil spun and struck Rabbid Granny, triggering a Bounce Effect that sent her flying. The Bucklers began to move, but they were each struck by Rabbid Granny's Stink Eye, defeating them and ending the battle. The Idol of Recoil glowed green and then shut, showing that the heroes have proved their worth and is allowing them to continue on their journey. The heroes cheered as they were healed and rewarded 1550 apples and 3 Runes. "Hey, I just thought of something..." Applejack told to the others just as they were starting to leave the battlefield. "If that Idol wanted us to prove ourselves, why would it want us to beat the ones who worship it?" Rabbid Rarity and Rabbid Granny were about to say something, but stopped and thought about it for a bit, then simply shrugged when they couldn't figure it out. "If I had to guess... entertainment purposes." Beep-0 guessed. "But I say we get going before it changes it's mind." "Bwah Bwah!" Rabbid Granny, who was the only one to get hit by the Idol, greed and hopped up onto Beep-0 and quickly left the battlefield, with the others following behind. The group crossed another bridge and continued down the path, but stopped when they saw 2 Rabbids on the other side of a small gorge. One of them was lying down on top of an ancient pedestal while the other was chanting something. He then hopped up onto the pedestal with his buddy and the heroes watched what he did next. "Ba-bwa-bwah... Ba-bwa-bwah." The Rabbid said as he reached into his friend's mouth and pulled out an apple core. "BA-BWA-BWAH!!!" The 2 Rabbids looked at each other, then laughed as the one threw away the apple core. "A reenactment of Mobwah Ram's sacrifice of his unemployed brother-in-law who was living with him at the time." Beep-0 explained to the group. "He CLAIMED that the Apple Gods 'told him to do it', but I'm not so sure." "He could've just helped him find a new job so he'd move out." Applejack pointed out. "True, the simplest plan is often the best, but the more complicated ones are so much more fun to watch!" Beep-0 joked. "Anyway, jokes aside, we need to get out of this Dungeon before Rabbid Jack does anything drastic." The heroes nodded in agreement and continued down the path just as the 2 Rabbids retook their places and started to do their act again.
