In Canterlot, Twilight Sparkle, now crown princess of Equestria, looked out the window. Canterlot looked fine, but Ponyville worried her most.

Twilight Sparkle went to search for her faithful student.

"Luster Dawn, are you here?" Twilight asked, "Luster Dawn?" 

Luster Dawn then came through the doors of Canterlot Castle. "Sorry, I was studying friendship in Ponyville!" 

Twilight's eyes lit up. "Ponyville! That's it!" she said. 

"What is it, Princess?" Luster Dawn asked. 

"I'm going to Ponyville to check on things," Twilight said, "And maybe check on my friends while I'm at it! I'd like you look over the castle while I'm in Ponyville."

"Me!?" Luster Dawn cried, "I couldn't possibly---!" 

"I trust you, Luster Dawn. It won't be long. I promise."

"I hope so," said Luster Dawn.
