Applejack’s farm
The girls were practicing their music, but it wasn't going as they thought. Broly and Sunset were by the volume speaker but the couldn't believe their singing... is like a group of girls with mental problems (no offense to people with mental problems, I decided to use it as a joke but in real life people with mental problems is not a joke at all, so don't laugh or bully those people, because they might do something bad to themselves that might put you in jail, this is a one time thing so if you find someone with mental problems, don't bully them or make fun of them, ask them if they need help with anything or something.) Goku tried to have a smiling face but it was too hard to keep it, it was too annoying and awful. Spike covered his ears as when Twilight went to sing a high part, made Sunset and Broly cover their ears as well, even Goku covered them.
"Not really good... right!?" asked Sunset to Broly couldn't withstand the volume.
"Too... loud... and awful!"
Goku joined them as he watch with agony.
"I prefer to hear Krillin sing... Bulma once said that he has the voice to kill a girl... literally!"
"Do we be honest or lie?" asked Sunset but Spike was over the limit.
"I don't care what you say... MAKE IT STOOOOOP!!!"
The song ended as they look at the four of them.
"We're not progressing at all!" said Rainbow with Rarity agreeing with her.
"I agree... we need a bit more voice or something."
"We need it now! If we don't, my band will not even pass the next round."
"OUR BAND!!!" screamed every girl except Twilight and Sunset. As Fluttershy approaches Rainbow thing of something.
"I was thinking if we could use my song?"
"That’s sweet and all but we’re using Twilight’s counter-spell for this Fluttershy."
"Oh... ok."
"Maybe we need more strength in Twilight's voice." said AJ to Twilight who looked confused.
"Strength?"
"Ya' know, like practice your voice more so you can sing comfortably without breakin' your voice."
"Oh... but what is that bad? Guys and girls?" Twilight asked to the four of them, as they went to give them their opinion.
"It was good." said Sunset.
"Y-Yeah... keep on it." Goku kept his smile even when it was bad.
"Ummmmmm... not... bad?" said Broly satisfied... sort of.
"I agree with the big guy, not bad... (muttering) in some ways." said Spike not believing how bad the song was.
"Ya' know that I know a lie when I see one, Broly, Goku, Spike, Sunset... I know you four are lying." said AJ as Goku acts all innocent.
"Whaaaaaaaaa? You're kidding. (AJ having a serious) Ok maybe she's not."
"She... isn't." said Broly.
"Either way, we have to keep practicing or all this is for nothing." said Twilight as Rainbow comes with an idea.
"Ahem... we have two aliens who could destroy planets with one strike! That's more than enough." Twilight in less than a second got against that opinion.
"Rainbow Dash is your plan is to use those two are some kind of guards then your idea is terrible. You said it yourself, destroy planets with one strike, they'll take us with it and if they transform then is game over for this galaxy, maybe this universe reality!"
"Is she calling us too powerful?" asked Goku which Broly nods.
"Mjm."
"Fine." said Rainbow annoyed.
"Girls, is almost 7pm, and we haven't done anything about the counter-spell." said Rarity as Pinkie came with an idea.
"Ooooooooh... I know what to do. (everyone looks at Pinkie) SLUMBER PARTY!!!"
"A slumber party? That's actually not a bad idea. We could have a bit of fun but also practice for the Battle of the Bands." said AJ accepting her offer, as Pinkie hugs Twilight to the point she can die at any minute.
"SLUMBER PARTY!!!"
Goku smiles and looks at Broly who nods at him. The two start to walk away as the girls look at them.
"Where are you two going?" asked Rarity, as Goku answers
"Gonna help Broly with his training... we'll be back for the Slumber Party. See ya."
Goku and Broly are covered by their white aura but Broly still having the green around him and they fly away.
"Well... let's get back to practice a bit more." said Twilight as the other girls nod except Sunset who sits, looking away.
"Well... is not like they need me."
Timeskip
Shockwaves were heard in the mountains, it shows a Broly still transformed and Goku with blond spiky hair... he's a Super Saiyan. They clash punches while being in the ground, creating a big crater, but Broly pushed Goku back. He goes to attack him but Goku makes a backflip and shoots ki barrage at Broly who blocked them. Broly started to release more power but not transform, making every ki blast separate away from him and pushing Goku back with the pressure.
"So is true... you get stronger the more you fight... can't imagine how much you'll grow if you go through near death experiences." said Goku as he starts to power up with electricity going around his aura and his eyebrows disappearing with his hair getting longer. "I barely use this transformation, takes a lot of stamina, even more than Blue, a transformation like Super Saiyan 3 would fit you quite well, I've seen you barely get tired, you have almost unlimited stamina and keeps rising, making you able to use transformations with no problem like Android 17 and 18 who have unlimited ki. But there is a backflash... you have so much power your body can't withstand it, your power is limitless, but your body isn't, making you a time bomb, I realized it when you turned Super Saiyan, you let all your power go knowing you would die, which is why Super Saiyan 3 is perfect, you have unlimited stamina but Super Saiyan burns that stamina like it was nothing, less for you too worry about your power and body limit. Now give me everything you got.
Broly nods and flies at Goku as Goku does the same and clash punches blowing their surroundings including the clouds that were also turned pitch black and strikes a lightning bolt near them. The start to exchange punches none stop but Broly blocks one of Goku's punches and kicks him back through a mountain. Goku lands in the ground and starts flying and instantly shoots a Kamehameha. Broly saw that went by it's side and goes to punch Goku, but Goku dodges the punch and grabs Broly by his back and throws him back to the ground, causing an earthquake around the whole mountain area, to the point the mountains were moving on their own. Broly got up and saw Goku flying at him as he does the same but the two start to teleport around the area until a lot of shockwaves appeared in less than a second with some around the way. Goku is surrounded by his ki and flies at Broly, and Broly's green aura tint around him covers a bit more Broly's body and he flies at Goku. They both screamed as they went to clash punches and when they do, an immense shockwave appears and destroys the whole area, and Goku goes base with Broly still transformed but both having their punches in their face. The punches fall from their faces, and they fall to the ground, panting.
"That was a good fight... but seems that you can't access your full power like with Vegeta... or is it that your afraid?" asked Goku as Broly nods after what he said.
"Scared... to go... berserker."
"I understand you with that... let's... go back to Pinkie's house."
"Y-Yeah."
While in Pinkie's house, AJ and Rainbow were playing, Sunset, Rarity and Fluttershy were taking photos and Pinkie in her computer.
"Yo Twi... how is the spell going?" asked Rainbow to Twilight as Rainbow turns off the console so AJ wouldn't win. Twilight was sort of stressed since she hasn't found a way to make the counter-spell work.
"Huh? Oh, uh, good. Great. Thanks for letting me use your notebook, Fluttershy. I really like the song you wrote for the Rainbooms."
"Thanks (sighs) Hopefully one day, we'll get a chance to play it." Fluttershy sounded disappointed as Rainbow was pranking now AJ by taking her controller away. But that ended when Goku and Broly appeared with his Instant Transmission as they saw them a little screwed up.
"My word, what happen to you two?" asked Rarity to both Saiyans but Goku answers.
"We were just having a sparring match, it was a fun one."
"You call that sparring? Your clothes are dirty, you both look like a caveman, this cannot be allowed! You two will get a shower, now!"
"But we don't have spare clothes... and we don't care a lot about me being dirty. I mean, I lives once in the forest and Broly has lived in Vampa for his entire life, so it doesn't bother us."
"You two maybe. But your stinky smell will kill us all!"
"But like I said... we don't have spare clothes."
"AGGGH!!! (throws a bag with clothes to both of them) Take this, I made them yesterday after you two saying you fight for hobby, I knew you would get dirty, now you two GET YOURSELF A BATH!!!"
The two nod in quick speed and run to the bathroom with Goku being first to bathe. Time later Goku appeared only wearing short pants with his hair dripping only a little bit of water.
"Where's my shirt?" asked Goku confused with Rarity answering her.
"Getting cleaned!"
"Really? That's too bad, couldn't you make one?"
"Oh about that... is in my house."
"Now that's bad."
The door sounded to get opened, and Broly appeared with long pants but also shirtless since his shirt was being cleaned and Rarity left the t shirts in her house.
"If you're also- (super gasp as she sees the scars in his body) My word what happened to you? Why so much scars? asked Rarity looking at Broly's scars.
"Old... scars... from Vampa." said Broly
"That surely confirms that his chilhood wasn’t pretty at all." said AJ but Pinkie doesn't care.
"Forget the scars... THERE'S PIZZA!!!" The bell was heard, as Pinkie started to float. "PIZZA’S HEEERE!!!" Everyone except Twilight went to eat the pizza. Twilight looked thoughtful if the counter-spell will work, but Pinkie appeared with a pizza in her mouth. "Twilight come quick, the boys are already in their 7th slice."
Twilight got up and ran to get her slices before the two Saiyans eat it all.
Timeskip
Broly was shown eating but not in Earth but on Vampa. He looked around and saw his father in the ground from very far away.
"Broly! Come here!" said Paragus as Broly heard him and flew from the mountains to the ground seeing his father. "We have to leave Vampa. The situation and the planet is getting worse."
"We can’t... live here?" asked Broly back as he looked and saw a big hole with instead being green liquid, it was covered in red liquid, with a big monster in it, it was Bah. "B-Bah?"
"We have to leave now! Maybe we were hit by a storm last night and might come back tomorrow. Get your stuff and let’s go!" ordered Paragus as Broly nods.
"Ok... let me warn Cheelai and Lemo."
"Cheelai... and Lemo? Who are they?"
"You know- (mentally) Wait... he doesn’t know? He met them... but... he’s supposed to be dead, Cheelai and Lemo... are-"
Broly blinked and looked back seeing a dead Cheelai, Lemo and Paragus, making him sweat and later transported back to space as Vampa was being corrupted and turning into some kind of sun Supernova. Vampa explodes, as Broly wakes up from him dream, he was panting but saw everyone except Twilight and Sunset. Broly decides to get up and carefully walks so no one wakes up. He goes to the kitchen, and see the other two girls.
"Broly? I thought you were asleep." said Twilight but Sunset notices that he was a little shaken, and looks at him.
"Broly... is everything ok?"
"Huh? Y-Yeah... just... bad dream. Gonna go... outside." Broly walked to the door, and closed it but the sound of flying wasn’t heard, meaning Broly stayed. Broly sat down and remembered Sunset’s words. He started breath in and out slowly, but his other instinct, definitely wasn’t letting him. He heard breathing, steps and everyone sleeping, his hand acted on it’s own and started to emit a green energy blast. Broly got up and tried to fly away but he couldn’t, as his hand moved on it’s own to Pinkie’s house, as he screamed mentally. "No... please stop! Stop! STOOOOOOOP!!!"
Broly managed to move his hand up as he created a small energy field around him, which also was sort of soundproof and he shot the blast at the energy field breaking it when the blast finished. Broly wasn’t just panting... he was scared but of himself. Broly clenched his fists and tried to fly away, until he felt a hand in his and saw Sunset worried.
"Are you sure your ok?"
"I-I-" Sunset pulls Broly to the ground with her seating as well.
"Want to talk about it?" Broly looks down but like in regret, as Sunset grabs with both hands Broly’s hands.
"Broly your not alone in this... please... tell me what’s wrong... I want to help you."
"I... I can’t control my power..."
"What do you mean?" asked Sunset letting go of his hands gently.
"Saiyans can transform... and with training... they can transform... at will. I can’t... every time I transform, I lose focus... control over myself... I become bloodlust. When I become bloodlust I think of two things: Destruction... and Death. I’m scared... I’m scared that one day... with my own hands... I take one of their lives. Kakarot, your friends... you... I’m scared that I kill you one day... because of me not being able to control my power." Sunset puts a sad face and puts a hand on Broly's knee as he looked at her.
"What do you feel right now, Broly? Not the other you... this you?"
"Sadness... anger... in pain... that’s all I feel, and those emotions are the ones that make me lose control. I’ve never had happiness or joy... always those three... is why I don’t want anyone around, or why I hide them... because they can get in the crossfire."
"I’m happy that you actually talk better and more clear."
"W-What does this have to do with my problem?"
"That your not shy and your finally developing more human emotions, happiness, joy, the love of a friend. Your finally having and gaining those emotions missing."
"But aren’t you scared... of me?" that question made Sunset giggle kindly at him and smiles at him
"No Broly... I’m not scared of you." that statement made Broly get confused.
"W-What?"
" We’re both demons Broly, and we both want to be better than what we are. Broly when you have magical abilities and know danger when you see it and when you even caused it, is hard for you to feel fear when you’ve already seen it. It wouldn’t matter of you killed me or not, I would have deserved it for everything I did."
"BUT WHAT ARE YOU-"
"SHHHHHHH... you’ll wake up the others."
"I’m sorry."
"You don’t have to be sorry for that simple mistake... your father did really filled you with manners of respect."
"Are you angry?" Sunset looks at Broly confused as he looked like a scared kid.
"About what?"
"Wasting your time on me."
"I would if it was something stupid... but you’ve been going through a lot like me... you just needed help from a friend. You don’t have to leave."
"I don’t want to be alone again... but killing you and the others... will make feel even more alone... and broken."
"Then let’s make a pinkie promise."
Sunset extends her pinkie finger but Broly looks confused.
"What is that?"
"You don’t know? You are one from the wilderness."
Broly goes to extend his pinkie but doesn’t seem to do it and just gets frustrated.
"I-I’m sorry."
"Is ok... I’ll do it for you." Sunset puts her pinkie in Broly’s pinkie, as she smiled with Broly looking confused but later at Sunset. "I don’t care what kind of sick dream you got or anything, but don’t be afraid Broly... don’t be afraid of yourself. I know you’ll never kill any of us, and if you do and manage to break through it, we’ll forgive you, because you weren’t in control, and because your our friend Broly, our Legendary Friend, and you promised to protect us, no matter what." Broly started to hear the voices of what he said, what he has been doing, even the darkest ones, but Sunset truly lives up to her name, a sun that destroys the shadows and darkness of Broly’s soul. "Don’t worry about us, worry about you being free... be yourself Broly, don’t be a monster or a weapon or any of that, be the kind and innocent Saiyan Broly. Promise me that at least you’ll be yourself, not a weapon." Broly started to shake and tear up as Sunset saw that. "Hey you don’t have to cry, ok? If you don’t want to then-"
Broly grabs Sunset by her shoulders, and hugs her, her head was in his shoulders as he had his arms wrapped around her.
"I’ll never hide them again, my emotions, I’ll never hide them." Sunset started to blush a little but only from the sudden hug Broly is giving her plus being seated in his knees.
"B-Broly! "
Broly smiled a little as he showed his pinkie finger at Sunset.
"Then I promise... to never leave you or the other’s side, to protect you always." said Broly as Sunset's blush disappears and wraps her pinkie around Broly's.
"Yeah... let’s promise that." Broly smiled until he blinked and his eyes turned black again and his green aura tint around him disappeared. "Broly... your eyes... they’re black."
Broly felt his power finally go down, as he smiled and hugged Sunset again.
Broly: Thank you... thank... you...
Broly fell to the ground with a small smile as Sunset got worried.
"Broly?" She heard him snore, as she smiled and knowing he was to heavy, she turned him to his back as she didn’t want to leave his side and uses his shoulder as a pillow with the moon reflecting them as Sunset slept with him and Broly without knowing since it was his body alone wrapped his arm around Sunset which she didn’t bother at all. "Good night, Broly."
Inside the house, it was shown a Goku snorting a lot but gets up in a sudden shock, and looks back where Twilight was, panting, as he frowned.
Goku: Candidate for God of Destruction.
