//------------------------------// // The Aurora Pokemon // Story: My Little Pokémon // by Amarvax //------------------------------// Twilight's Pokemon Lab, Day. With the knowledge given to her about certain Legendary Pokemon from Canalave Library, Twilight Sparkle has also learned about certain events that occur with these larger than life creatures. One of which involved the Legendary Pokemon and one of the three Legendary Beasts, Suicune. A Pokemon said to be the reincarnation and embodiment of the north winds as it races around the world, purifying dirty water with its gracefulness and mystical power. It was capable of this since it was one of the three Legendary Beasts who were once Pokemon that had been revived by Ho-Oh. On a rare occasion, Suicune's movements also bring an aurora along the way. When it does summon an aurora, the light it gives off is so grand that it can even be seen on a sunny day. Why Twilight was looking into this was simple. There's been word across Equestria that this dog-like creature has been running across the lands, giving everypony water so pure that it's made them healthier in a matter of minutes. They saw this creature heading towards the direction of Saddle Lake, spreading the aurora wherever it went. Which meant that Suicune was here in this world. And which also meant that Ponyville will have the pleasure of viewing the aurora that Suicune brings. "If Suicune's heading this way, then it might show up this afternoon," Twilight spoke. "Everypony can't wait to see the aurora show up in the sky. To think it can even do it in the day!" "Wouldn't it look weird in the day?" Spike wondered. "Obviously, an aurora really shines when the night arrives. But Suicune's is said to be that vibrant and dazzling. But who knows, it might show up late at night." "An aurora? I've always wanted to see that!" Starlight squeed. "Well, this is your chance! I'll be at Saddle Lake. That's where Suicune is said to arrive according to what Princess Celestia saw. I even heard that Suicune's presence is so great that it can even purify the water from a faraway distance." Twilight turned around as Vulpix hopped on her head. "Vulpix!" Everypony was aware of Suicune's arrival since news of it spread like wildfire. Over at SugarCube Corner, Pinkie was being held back by Mrs Cake and the Slurpuff's from devouring some food meant specifically for the time of the celebration when the aurora shows up. "Pinkie Pie! Restrain yourself!" Mrs Cake had Pinkie on a leash as the pink pony's tongue was sticking out, craving all those delicious delicacies in front of her. "Save it for Suicune!" Her Slurpuff attempted to draw her attention away from the food with Sweet Scent, but that didn't work at all. If anything, that just accelerated Pinkie's urges. "I can't...I need it!" Pinkie was unusually hungry today. More than normal. So she wasn't going to stop until she ate something. "Spinda! Knock some food into her mouth!" Mrs Cake strained as she was slowly losing her grip of the leash. "Spin!" The Spot Panda Pokemon had used Double Slap on a nearby soft cake, slapping it towards Pinkie Pie's mouth. That did the trick as Pinkie took in the soft cake, tasting the sweet goodness of the altered pastry. Her hunger had been calmed down for now. "Mmm! Soft cake!" "Finally." Mrs Cake sighed as she fell on her back, letting Pinkie go. "What's an aurora?" Jade asked. It was something that she wasn't aware of at all, so it piqued her curiosity. Plus the name just sounds interesting. "An aurora's a bunch of amazing lights in the sky that show up. But not that often. They're kinda super rare." Pinkie gave Jade an answer. "If what they're saying about this Suicune thing is true, then not only will we have some slights to look forward to, but apparently, the water will become purified when it runs across the land," said Mrs Cake. "Oooh...they sound beautiful." Jade nodded. "I know right?!" Pinkie grabbed Jade's face. "If we have purified water then...then uh...I don't know what we'll do. But we'll do something with it!" Switching over to Rarity's Carousel Boutique, both sisters were, of course, excited like everypony else. Sweetie Belle mostly. "Alright. Out you come." Rarity held out a Poke Ball belonging to a Pokemon she hadn't sent out in months. Feebas. "Fee." "Here goes nothing." Rarity held her breath in. "Feebas. I want to apologize for neglecting your many months now. Much like how I did to Mareep over here." "Reep!" "So, I plan to make it up to you today. By not only having you see the aurora that's coming by soon, but I'll also be spending time with you much more often." "Bas." The Fish Pokemon was surprisingly unbothered by this. The reason being was that Feebas only had one goal in life. To become a Milotic. A dream many Feebas's wish to achieve once they find a Prism Scale. It doesn't matter how long it takes, as long as they reach their final evolution. So it didn't care one bit about Rarity leaving it inside a Poke Ball for a long time. It did overhear her at Undella Town and how she'll eventually find the scale. "Uh, Rarity. I don't really think it cares." Sweetie Belle noticed Feebas's unphased state. "Ah. So it seems. Well, that's fine. Every Pokemon has a unique personality after all. So Feebas here is just one of them." Rarity went over to give the Fish Pokemon a pat, only being given the feeling of its dry body. "Eeugh..." At the Pokemon House, for Fluttershy, she was more curious about Suicune than the aurora. But she also wanted to see them anyways. "You're leaving him here?" Fluttershy looked up at Discord who was floating above. With him was the Krookodile he caught all the way back at Virbank City. "No hard feelings, but I just don't find anything interesting about this thing." Discord shook his head. Krookodile seemed unphased by his words though. "Krook." "Is Krookodile not interesting for you?" "Appearance-wise, I can admire it. Other than that, it's just another capsule creature." Discord gave Krookodile a 5/10 rating with duplicates of himself. "I'll be leaving him here from now on. "But you still see him as your Pokemon, right?" "Hm? Oh, yes, whatever. It is mine I suppose. I'll be off now!" "Wait. Aren't you going to stay behind to see the aurora? A Legendary Pokemon is passing by Saddle Lake, apparently." "Hm. Sounds enchanting. But no thank you. Toodle-oo!" Discord poofed himself out of thin air, returning to that twisted dimension he calls home. "Well, Krookodile. Sorry that Discord won't be keeping you at his home. That's just his preference. But don't worry. You can call the Pokemon House your home. Right, Audino?" "Audino!" Audino nodded as she held Angel Bunny in her hands. "Krooko." The Intimidation Pokemon wasn't even paying any attention to Fluttershy. Instead, all of his focus was right on Audino. The Pokemon that was the main reason he ended up becoming Discord's Pokemon among other events. Since he couldn't get with the Audino from PokePark, he figured he might as well try Fluttershy's Audino. However, something that wasn't so pleasing to his eyes was the sight of Angel Bunny being held by Audino. Krookodile being the big prideful tough guy that he is wasn't very fond of this. So he had the urge to slash Angel Bunny up with the move Shadow Claw. "Krookodile!" The Intimidation Pokemon snarled at Angel, forcing him to hide behind Audino. "Dino? Audino!" Audino obviously upset at Krookodile for scaring Angel, let out a small scolding towards the Ground-Dark-Type. But then again, he is known as the Intimidation Pokemon. Scaring just comes with the title. "Oh, my." Fluttershy shifted her eyes from Krookodile to Audino, seeing how the Intimidation Pokemon had been scolded at by the Hearing Pokemon. He may be terribly aggressive, violent and known as the Bully of the Sands much like Sharpedo's Bully of the Sea title, but when face to face with a Pokemon such as Audino, his personality and attitude shift drastically. Angel Bunny laughed as he stuck his tongue out whilst hiding behind Audino. This only enraged Krookodile further who now had a grudge against the little bunny. Fluttershy could sense that there was bad blood between the two. It might take a while for the two of them to get along. Maybe a whole year will do. And what of Sweet Apple Acres? You could say that they might have the best view of the aurora due to where their home is located. So most likely, they'll be the first to see Suicune pass by. "Are we gonna go out with everypony else to see it or just stay here?" Cold asked. "Well, we'll be the first to see it if we stay here. But...I wanna see it with the rest of my friends." Apple Bloom replied. "Eeyup." Big Mac nodded. "When that Suicune thing passes by, that's gonna be a relief. The water's been a bit funny ever since that Storm Behemoth thing." Applejack said. It was true. Due to the absurd amount of pulses, the volts exerted during that night when the Storm Behemoth attacked had messed with the water sources everywhere. Saddle Lake for sure took some horrible punishment from the pulse with the water now having tiny little sparks inside. So anypony who drinks a glass of water will always end up feeling a tiny little shock. It's not frequent but when it happens, they really feel it. That goes for every other location in Equestria that has either a lake, river or any body of water nearby. Once Suicune shows up, all of that will change thankfully. Speaking of Saddle Lake, Twilight ended up being the first pony to show up, preparing herself to see Suicune's magic take place. She was even hoping to see a small glimpse of it since it can affect everything from a faraway distance. "Right here. If it was first seen near the Crystal Empire and the Frozen North, then it's bound to be seen in the distance not too far from here." Twilight brought along a telescope, just to see the distance clearer. She placed the telescope firmly on the soft snowy ground, enhancing its length. "Vulpix." Vulpix picked up a snowball with his tail, flinging over at Minccy who was completely caught off guard. "Ccino!" The Chinchilla Pokemon gasped, feeling the cold snow strike her. "Minccino!" She growled, snapping her head over to Vulpix who was giggling. Out of spite, Minccino returned the favour by launching a snowball right at the Fox Pokemon, hitting Vulpix square in the face. "Vul!" Vulpix fell on his back as all he could see was snow now. Now it was Minccy laughing at him, giving off a snicker. This had started an inevitable snowball fight between the two pre-evolutions. Both had used their tails as launchers, going back and forth with snowballs flying across Saddle Lake, hitting each other whilst evading every single piece of snow that came their way. Eve watched as she licked her paws, unbothered by her friends and their snowball fight. But soon, she would be hit by a snowball that came from Vulpix. "Esp?!" The Sun Pokemon jerked back as the snowball struck her face. Both Minccy and Vulpix gasped as their eyes widened. They could already tell that Eve would go off on them both without any hesitation. And judging by how her right eye twitched, she wasn't too happy.. "C-Ccino..." Minccy slowly backed up, hiding behind a tiny hill of snow. "Espeon..." Eve growled at the two of them, using her psychic mind to pick up some snowballs. Now it was her turn. With aggression packed behind it, the force of her snowball throws could be considered lethal as they raced at high speeds, striking both Vulpix and Minccy to the ground. Very soon, all three of Twilight's Pokemon went at it, attacking each other with snow, aiming to come out on top. All the while, their trainer was looking through the telescope, seeing if she could spot a trace of Suicune somewhere, completely unaware of the snowball fight happening around here. "Come on Suicune...show a little teaser." "Minccino!" Minccy put some extra effort into her throws by using Aqua Tail. Her water veiled tail smashed a snowball towards Eve. "Esp!" The Sun Pokemon gasped, ducking for cover as she managed to evade the snowball. Unfortunately, the Pokemon up ahead wasn't as fortunate. At this time, Ice-Types are obviously very present since they were the ones causing winter to be extra cold. Colder than usual. One of those many Ice-Types are none other the Chill Pokemon and pre-evolution of Beartic, Cubchoo. A Pokemon that's all about having the sniffles and a runny nose. Sitting atop a hill of Saddle Lake, a snowball hit the Chill Pokemon right in the face where it was already cold enough for the poor little thing. "Cub!" The Ice-Type fell on its back, shocked at the sudden impact of the snowball. Now, this wouldn't be a problem for any other Pokemon. Granted, some would be aggravated but for the most part, they'd be surprised or confused. And some would just laugh it off with their playful nature. However, Cubchoo is a different story. Even when it's healthy, its nose is always running. But, when this Pokemon is at good health, its frosty snot increases any Ice-Type in power. And that means one other thing would increase in power. "Cub...Cub..." Like always, the Ice-Type Pokemon couldn't help but sneeze. And with its face feeling extra cold thanks to the snowball, this sneeze was about to be something powerful. "CUBCHOO!" A mighty sneeze came from Cubchoo, causing a flurry of snow so grand and huge that it flew off from the hill. Not only that, but the snow around Saddle Lake had even been moved, causing a mini-avalanche in the process. "Esp?" Eve's ears twitched as she noticed the huge sheet of snow capable of engulfing the entire body of water in one go falling from above. She and the other Pokemon spotted it heading straight for them. "Espeon!" "Minccino!" "Vulpix!" All three of them made a run for it, avoiding the incoming avalanche, however, Twilight was completely unaware. She was still searching for Suicune after all. "Oh! I see something!" Twilight stood up, thinking she caught a glimpse. That's when she felt the rumble and heard the noise. A large shadow cast of her, making her wonder what that could be. "Hm?" Once she took her eyes off the telescope, the young alicorn was greeted to the avalanche caused by one tiny Pokemon. "AH-" Direct contact. Twilight had been hit by the avalanche with her guard down. Her entire body had been buried in snow as her Pokemon winced, watching their trainer getting taken out by the snow. What a shame. "Achoo!" But an even bigger shame was the cold she caught from this. Due to the abundance of snow that fell on her, Twilight Sparkle had just caught a cold, forcing her to head back inside. Since it was a large pile of snow that came from Cubchoo, the cold was so intense that not even Vulpix's flames could warm her quick enough. But at least they were effective. Ash and Pikachu were there, seeing that their friend was currently under the weather. "Bummer. Caught a cold at the worst time." Ash said. "Pikachu..." "Urgh...I wanted to go so badly outside to see Suicune and aurora." Twilight whimpered as she was in her bed, covered in a plethora of sheets while Vulpix kept her warm. "Thanks for stopping by you guys. But I think I need some rest." "Hm. Alright. Get well soon." "Pika-Pikachu." The duo left Twilight alone with her Pokemon at her castle. It would be all three of them that would do their best to nurse her back to full health. They were technically the ones who caused this, even if they didn't know that. "That blows." Ash groaned. "Twilight won't get to be with everyone else when Suicune shows up." "Pika." Pikachu lowered his head, sighing. "She was psyched about it too when she heard about Suicune being around yesterday," Ash recalled when Twilight found out from Cadence that the Crystal Empire had seen this dog-like Pokemon nearby. It went a little something like this. "A Pokemon that purifies water!" Twilight exclaimed as she stood up from her seat. Currently, she had a letter sent by the Cadence "Ooh. Which one is that?" Fluttershy looked up, wondering. She didn't know of a Pokemon that purifies water. "Do you know, Ash?" "Purifies water? Hmm..." Ash thought for a bit, digging through his memory as he was trying to recall which Pokemon is capable of that. "Oh! Suicune!" "Suicune?" Rainbow Dash turned to him. "Mhm. It's a pretty neat Legendary Pokemon." Ash laid back on his chair, crossing his arms. "Not only does it make the water all pure and great when it comes by, but it even brings the northern lights with it. It's so cool." "Northern lights?! An aurora?!" Twilight squeed. "I've always wanted to see those! Thank you Pokemon for having everything!" She yelled into the sky. "You seem extremely excited about this, Twilight. Have you never seen an aurora before?" Rarity asked her. "Never in my life. It's only in books that's I've seen images of them. The closest thing I've gotten to the Northern lights was Princess Celestia's ethereal mane. But now, this is my chance to see the real thing! And Suicune's said to be headed somewhere near here tomorrow due to what everypony's seen so far!" She pranced on the spot, getting all giddy. "Getting all fired up for tomorrow then, huh?" said Ash. "Pikachu?" "Of course! Aurora, here I come!" She raised her hoof in the air, filling up with such emotion. Twilight was truly psyched about this. More than anypony else in Equestria. Back to the present day, Ash knew that it was heavily disappointing for Twilight that she might not get the chance to see the aurora at Saddle Lake in her condition. If she even stood outside for a second, that wouldn't help with her cold. "She could see from her balcony but...that would mean going outside." "Pika..." Meanwhile, everypony was making their way towards Saddle Lake as it was almost time. Very soon, that one area where the Swords of Justice used to hang around but no longer do since they're busy searching for Ultra Wormholes and protecting ponies and Pokemon from harm, had been populated by ponies and their partners. "Strange. Twilight would usually be the first here, wouldn't she?" Rarity looked around, unable to spot Twilight anywhere. "She said she was headed here. So I don't have a clue why there's no sign of her." Starlight replied. "Perhaps, she's a bit busy at the moment," Nyx said. "Maybe." "There's a Twilight-shaped figure right over here." Pinkie Pie noticed the sheet of snow that had dropped on Twilight earlier thanks to the avalanche. "Maybe she had a bit of fun here earlier." "Let me get on Ponyta! I'm feeling kinda chilly still." Sweetie Belle requested. "Tough luck." Scootaloo hopped on her Ponyta's back, taking in the heat. "But all this heat is for me." "Unfair..." Sweetie Belle puffed her cheeks at Scootaloo, desiring some heat. "Hmm..." Ash, who had also arrived here, sat down on the ground with his arms crossed, thinking to himself. "What's wrong, Ash?" Fluttershy flew over to him. "Is something bothering you?" "Pikachu. Pika. Pika-Pikachu-Pi." Pikachu spoke to Fluttershy, explaining to her that Twilight caught a cold which meant she wouldn't be able to see the aurora and Suicune, unfortunately. "Oh. That's a shame. She was the most excited out of anypony to see the aurora." "Audino..." "Yeah...There's gotta be something I can do to help..." Ash pondered for a while, thinking of anything that could raise Twilight's spirits back up. Ash stood up, deciding to clear his mind for a bit. "I'll be back." Back at the castle, Twilight was looking up at the ceiling with her Vulpix continuously warming her up. It's a shame that Cubchoo's ice was this potent. "Mrrmgh...Aurora's..." Twilight grumbled. "I wanted to go with all my friends..." She covered her face with her bedsheets. I bet they're having so much fun and eating good food too..." She looked at the window, knowing that the aurora was only heading in a linear path. So she wouldn't even be able to spot a tiny bit of it. "Espeon." Eve gave Twilight a pat whilst she was still covered by her bedsheets. Twilight had decided to put herself to sleep at this point. It was probably for the best. Her Pokemon gathered around her, deciding to sleep as well with their trainer. They all felt like having some quiet time until Twilight recovered. Fluttershy had told everypony why Twilight wasn't present at the moment, spilling the news about her cold. "Ugh! A cold? That sucks..." Rainbow Dash murmured. "That would explain the Twilight-shaped snow over there." Rarity turned her head to the last place Twilight was when the snow fell on her. "Ash said that he's planning on doing something to help. I guess right now, he's off to do just that." Fluttershy explained. "Hope he does it fast. That Suicune critter could be here any moment now." Applejack moved her head about, hoping that Suicune wasn't too near. And what about Ash? He was currently near White Tail Wood, away from everypony else as he needed to really spark something in his brain at this moment. But so far, nothing seemed to be working at the moment. "Pikapi?" Pikachu hopped off Ash's shoulder, looking up at him. "Sorry, buddy. Guess you're not a fan of me looking like this so far, huh?" "Pikachu. Pika-Pika." Pikachu told him that it was alright. After all, this is something that Ash does a lot. If a friend of his ends up having an unfortunate moment, he'll go out of his way to help. Standing in the cold silent air of White Tail Wood with the sun slowly setting, the light rays of the sunset beamed down on Ponyville. Just then, an odd but familiar sound could be heard. It sounded like crystals moving actually. A blue mist surrounded both Ash and Pikachu all of a sudden, causing them to snap out of their thoughts. It took them both a second to realize what this meant. The sounds of the crystals got closer, forcing them to turn their attention to the source of the sound. A figure emanating a blue light appeared in the mist, causing it to separate as the trees were given an illuminating azure glow. And there it was. The Aurora Pokemon. Suicune. The Legendary Pokemon gazed at Ash and Pikachu recognizing the two of them with ease. After all, it's one of the many Legendary Pokemon that has grown emotionally attached to Ash over the years. It never forgot his face. "...Suicune." Ash gasped. "Pika." The Aurora Pokemon let out a cry towards Ash, greeting him as it has been too long. Seeing Suicune here made Ash finally come to a conclusion that could help Twilight. "Long time no see. It's been a while hasn't it?" "Pikachu!" Suicune let out a mystical cry similar to that of the winds howling as it caused a small wind pressure to kick up, blowing the trees and even the clouds themselves. That was a sign that it was happy to see Ash and Pikachu again, thankful for helping it during the whole Celebi experience. As a response, Suicune offered Ash a ride on its back like before, if he wanted to that is. "Thanks, Suicune. But I'll pass...Although, there's something I need you to help me with." A few hours had passed. Everypony was still outside of Saddle Lake, waiting for Suicune as they partook in small activities until the time came. Seems like the night is when Suicune will show up. Over at Twilight's castle, she and her Pokemon were fast asleep, all comfortable in Twilight's bed. Vulpix slept on her head whilst Eve and Minccy slept on top of her. There was absolute silence in the castle. The only sound that could be heard was the howling winds. That's when a light shined through the windows, putting a spotlight over Twilight and her Pokemon. "Esp...Espeon?" Eve was the first to notice this. Her eyes slowly opened as multiple rays of blue lights beamed through Twilight's circular window. Their lucent and scintillant appearance only seemed to increase in power. These sparkling cerulean rays had managed to wake Twilight, Minccy and Vulpix up eventually, causing them all to raise their heads. "Hm...?" The young alicorn who was still sick rubbed her eye with a grumble. With one hoof over her left eye, her right had locked onto the window, spotting the lights. "What the...?" Taking a moment to recover from her exhaustion and rest, Twilight got up from her bed, heading closer to her window, along with her Pokemon. "Minccino?" "Vulpix?" "What is this...?" She wondered. But she got her answer already. Her answer came in the form of the only thing that could explain this. Suicune. Outside, the aurora could actually be seen passing by Twilight's window. Instead of it going in one linear path like most ponies predicted it would, it went around all of Ponyville. That's because Ash had told Suicune to move in that particular way for everypony to get a glimpse of the lights. Not just the ones at Saddle Lake. "The aurora..." Twilight said under her breath. At first, she thought this was a dream, but not at all. It was truly the aurora of Suicune. The Aurora Pokemon had appeared dashed across the lands of Ponyville, stopping by Twilight's castle as it had also left behind a beautiful trail of lights. That's when it locked eyes with Twilight Sparkle. She was in absolute disbelief. Suicune was right in front of her. Along with the aurora. She looked closer to realize that not only did Suicune bring the aurora with it, but it also spelt something with the lights. The words read "Get well soon." And as an extra bonus, Suicune made its body glow to give Twilight an even greater light show. And that's what it took. Twilight's wish had been granted. Her dream to see an aurora had finally come true. And she even got to see the Legendary Pokemon who brings the northern lights with it. A wide smile had been plastered on the young alicorn's face as she looked like was about to tear up. Twilight rested her head on the window, continuing to marvel at the sight of the aurora. The way it spelt those words with the exact same colours as Celestia's mane was beautiful. The lights danced across the sky, following Suicune's movements. The way they illuminated the world was almost unparalleled actually. Not many spectacles can come close to a sight like this. Every building, every tree, hill and cloud had been blessed with the aurora as the winds howled a beautiful melody due to Suicune's cry. Twilight was at ease. Even with her cold. She saw Suicune gave off a gentle smile as the Aurora Pokemon turned around, bolting away. It left behind one final thing for Twilight. An extra aurora that surrounded her castle in a circle as the Legendary Pokemon disappeared in a flash. But of course, everypony at Saddle Lake weren't left out. Once Suicune made its way to everypony else, it immediately dashed across the water of Saddle Lake, causing the liquids to be purified, erasing all the leftover bolts from the Storm Behemoth. The water was given azure sparkles that rose up like stardust. The sounds of crystals could be heard as everypony gawked at the sight of Suicune's miracle. That's when they all saw it. Now everypony had truly seen Suicune. Its majestic appearance and radiant aura was something to behold. Truly giving it the status of Legendary. The Aurora Pokemon stood on the water itself, gazing back at the awestruck ponies. Ash had returned with Pikachu letting out a sigh of relief. He was glad that he ended up giving Twilight the chance to see the aurora. "Ash. You're back. And just in time!" Fluttershy flew up. "Did you find a way to help Twilight? "Yeah." Ash nodded with a smile, knowing that he did a good job. "I told Suicune to show her the aurora. Take a look at that." He pointed directly at the aurora, showing Fluttershy the words that Suicune wrote. Now she was aware that it was Ash who was behind this. "Pikachu..." Pikachu sat down, taking in the breathtaking beauty of the aurora. Everypony's eyes had locked onto the aurora and the Pokemon at the same time. They were completely frozen with awe. Suicune looked back at Ash, nodding at the trainer and his buddy. Ash gave a thumbs up, letting Suicune know that he did an awesome job. The Aurora Pokemon smiled at Ash, understanding him clearly. It was time for Suicune to leave. With amazing speeds, Suicune ran on the water of Saddle Lake, leaving behind bubbles and droplets of water that rose up from above. The Legendary Pokemon's body glowed blue as aurora coloured trails followed it. And just like that, Suicune was gone. But it left a lasting impression of everypony in Ponyville. And it'll continue to leave impressions as it travels the lands, spreading purity to the oceans as it goes. With Suicune gone, but the aurora still around, everypony had decided to dig in for some food. Pinkie Pie immediately went first, acting like a rabid dog as she smashed her face into some cake, devouring it from the inside. The Pokemon ate both regular food and Pokemon food since some have their preferences and can be a bit needy at times. Whilst they all snacked until the night came, Twilight sat back on her bed, still gazing out at the aurora. It was too beautiful to take her eyes off. "I'm glad I got to see with you three as well. And I'm sure everypony else feels the same way." Twilight pulled her Pokemon close to her, giving them a group hug. By tomorrow her cold would be long gone thanks to her having a Fire-Type after all. But even still, she was happy either way. It wasn't over yet, though. Along came Ash and Pikachu entering inside for one final thing. "Pika!" "Feeling better?" Ash slid in, almost falling over due to his movements. "Yikes!" "A little bit. I'll be back to full strength by tomorrow." "Awesome. Just gonna leave this behind for you." Ash had brought some food over from the aurora party, bringing it just for Twilight and her Pokemon. As he placed the food on the table, the human stretched his arms, feeling a bit tired himself now. "I'm beat...Come on buddy." "Pikachu." "Ash, before you go!" Twilight exclaimed. "Hm? Yeah?" Ash turned around, just moments away from stepping out. "I'm guessing by how the aurora's spelt....you and Pikachu were behind this weren't you?" "Heh. Guilty." Ash grinned, looking proud of himself as Pikachu did the same. "Pikachu!" "Thanks. Both of you." "Espeon!" "Minccino!" "Vulpix!" "No problem. See ya tomorrow!" Ash and Pikachu gave their goodbyes with a simple wave. They closed the door, leaving Twilight to continue enjoying herself with the food and the aurora. And she's going to enjoy herself until the day ends. As Suicune leaves behind a wonderful gift for everypony in Ponyville, the beautiful lights of the aurora continued to shine across the night sky for all to see and take in with wonder as the journey continues. Chapter 218 End.
