Reef - Stormy Shore
As the team traveled through a series of pipes, they noticed a Rabbid lying in a huge oyster, and he was snuggling, playing, protecting, and licking a blue pearl that was the size of a bowling ball.
"It reminds me of Botticelli's "The Birth of Venus" - only instead of divine perfection it's more horrid revulsion." Beep-0 explained to his comrades.
"As long as he doesn't start saying stuff like 'my precious' or 'mine' a million times, he can do whatever he wants with that ball." Applejack told Beep-0, a little creeped out by what she was looking at.
The group left the Rabbid to his pearl and entered the final pipe, which led to the next battlefield.
This battlefield featured 3 Collectors, showing that they had to collect all the Washing Machine parts to end the battle, 3 Ziggies, and 2 muscular Rabbids wearing helmets that resembled skulls with purple feathers, short, purple capes, shoulder pads and belts that resembled bones, and were equipped with blasters and huge shields made from stone and gold.
"This time the Collectors brought in their big brothers - the Bucklers! Big, bad, and shielded." Beep-0 explained to the heroes. "Here's a tip. You'll need to flank Bucklers so your attacks aren't blocked by that shield of theirs!"
Get Washing Machine Parts Back - 3 Collectors, 3 Ziggies, 2 Bucklers (Washer Parts: 3)
Applejack had Rabbid Granny hop onto her back and she entered a pipe leading to the high area in front of them, where she ran across an orange arrow to get to the left side of the high area before climbing back down and stopping right next to a Buckler. She then bucked Rabbid Granny over a full cover that a Collector was hiding behind and she Freeze Blasted him. She took out her banjo and activated her Magnet Groove, drawing the Buckler, a Ziggy, and 2 Collectors closer to her.
Rabbid Granny dashed one of the Collectors, and got a Team Jump from Applejack, Freeze Blasting the Buckler and the Collector from earlier.
Applejack then used her Buck Slam which triggered a Bounce Effect that sent the Collectors and the Buckler flying. This also affected a Bounce Cover, which provided damage to a Ziggy the wasn't in range of the Buck Slam. The 2 Collectors were defeated and the Washing Machine parts were released.
Since the Buckler could block her regular attack with his shield, Rabbid Granny sent her Barrel Bolt over it to defeat him and release the SupaMerge energy. She then activated her Stink Eye.
Rabbid Rarity entered a pipe leading to the high area and dashed a Ziggy, then she entered a second pipe to get back on the ground and hid behind a full cover. She then blasted the first Ziggy, which triggered a Push Effect that sent him out of the battlefield, defeating him. She activated her Shield.
The remaining Collector made his way to the left side of the battlefield where he snatched up one of the Washing Machine parts, getting hit with Rabbid Granny's Stink Eye in the process, before returning to the right side and hiding behind a full cover.
The Ziggies remained in the high area, only moving to hide behind full covers. They blasted Applejack and activated their Villain Sights.
The remaining Buckler entered a pipe in the back of the battlefield that led to the left side, where he then blasted Rabbid Granny.
Applejack grabbed the Washing Machine part that the Collector avoided, getting hit with the Ziggies' Villain Sights in the process, woth one of them triggering a Freeze Effect, blocking her ability to use any techniques, and had Rabbid Granny hop onto her back. She made her way to an orange arrow on the ground and used her lasso to swing across the pond in the middle of the battlefield to the right side. She hid behind a full cover and bucked Rabbid Granny over the Collector, who Freeze Blasted him.
Rabbid Granny blasted the Collector, defeating him and releasing the 2 Washing Machine parts he had. She ran over to collect both of them and ended the battle.
The heroes cheered as they were healed and rewarded 1150 apples and 3 Runes.
The team exited the battlefield and as they made their way down the path, they spotted a giant bottle lying in the water with a giant message inside, and 2 Rabbids were attempting to get it out.
"They're frantically trying to intercept that message. Imagine their disappointment when they find out it's just pizza coupons." Beep-0 told the group.
"On the bright side, they must be some pretty big deals!" Applejack joked.
As the Rabbids got no closer to getting the message, the group took their leave and continued down the path, where it started to get a bit darker out, and at the end of it, they saw something very strange.
It was a large coral organ that had a pirate Rabbid shrine made from bones in the middle with 7 switches and coral pipes that were lined up and were each a color of the rainbow, with an additional gray button in front of the organ. At the right of it was a gate that resembled that teeth of an anglerfish.
"Another closed gate... But hey, look at this ornate coral organ! Make you want to tickle the ol' ivories!" Beep-0 explained to the group before turning his attention to the gray button. "By pushing this button the piano will play automagically. Cool, but what'd be the use of that?"
"Bwah bah bwah." Rabbid Granny said as she approached the button and pressed it. This caused the organ to start and music played out of the red pipe twice, and the indigo pipe once.
"I think I know what to do here. Follow me Rabbid Rarity." Applejack said as she approached the organ with Rabbid Rarity behind her. "I'll do the red, you do the indigo."
"Bwah bwah!" Rabbid Rarity shouted as she saluted Applejack and ran to the indigo switch. "Bwa Bwa?"
"Yeah, I'm ready" Applejack said as she hit the red switch twice and Rabbid Rarity hit the indigo switch once, which caused the shrine's eye to glow blue three times, indicating that it was the right pattern. A torch then ignited right next to the organ, with two more remaining. "It's just like the gate back at the Apple Lagoon, we light all three of those torches, and the gate will open."
"Good work everypony! At this rate, we'll find that key in no time!" Beep-0 cheered.
"We're ready when you are Rabbid Granny!" Applejack shouted.
Rabbid Granny gave her a thumbs up and pushed the button again, this time the pattern being green, blue, green, orange.
Applejack and Rabbid Rarity mimicked the pattern, igniting the second torch. The button was pushed one more time, this pattern being the longest of the three: orange, orange, purple, blue, indigo, blue, yellow. Unsurprisingly, the pair managed to copy this insanely complicated pattern perfectly, igniting the torch and opening the angler gate.
The team entered the gate and saw a Rabbid riding a skateboard on a giant ribcage, most likely from a whale.
"Backside 270 noseblunt into a switch flip, bro! BUST IT OUT!" Beep-0 shouted to the Rabbid.
"Yeah, you do... whatever he just said." Applejack told the Rabbid, not understanding what Beep-0 said to him.
As they let the Rabbid continue to have fun, it continued to get darker out and the rain started coming down harder.
"I have a bad feelin' about this." Applejack told the group.
"Agreed, I highly suggest that you all upgrade your weapons, I sense something big coming up." Beep-0 urged the group to do, opening the Battle HQ.
The heroes did just that and used their apples to upgrade their weapons to deal more damage, and it also gave Applejack's Boomerang a complete metal coating and fixed up Rabbid Rarity's new weapons even more, making them all stronger and even more durable.
"Alright everypony, we have no choice but to head deeper into the storm. It's the only way we're going to find the second key." Beep-0 explained.
"Let's do it." Applejack said as she adjusted her hat and continued down the path, with the others following close behind her.
