Months ago before the beginning of the Chinese Selection Tournament, an attack on the legendary Duel Temple high in the mountains was in progress. A teenage boy with white hair red eyes wearing a black karate outfit with ripped sleeves and muscles was charging through everyone until he reached the room with what he was looking for.
“ At long last my long-awaited prize,” The boy said before an old man threw his cane at him and got his attention.
“ You can,t have that deck, Jian Feng,” The old man said.
“ You can,t stop me, master Ju-Long,” Jain said. A decisive battle of martial arts suddenly took place inside the room and just when it looked like Master Ju-Long was about to win Jain dodged and delivered a powerful blow to Ju-Long’s back thus rendering him unable to move. After the fight ended Jain broke the seal on what looked like a metal box and removed a deck from it. Just what I hoped for, Be grateful I’m not finishing you off because I have a much bigger fight ahead of me.
“ You may walk out of here with the forbidden deck but someone will stop you,” Ju-Long said before Jain walked away as if he considered that to be a lie.
Meanwhile on the plane to China Silver and his team were discussing the upcoming match.
“ So what do you think Team hie, hiu?” Lightning asked trying to correctly pronounce the name of the next team.
“ Its Hēi'àn jù lóng,” Lyra said while looking a bit under the weather.
“ Are you feeling ok love?” Silver asked.
“ I’m fine perfectly fine,” Lyra said before Silver put his hand on her forehead and felt how hot it was.
“ No your not, you’re burning up when we get to the arena we are having you sit this one out,” Silver said.
“ But without me, our team will only have 8000 life points between us,” Lyra said.
“ Your health is more important than this tournament and besides the rules say that each team is permitted one sub-member in the event a regular is unable to compete,” Silver said.
“ But we don,t have any sub-members,” Lightning said.
“ I am the Sub-Member why else do you think I came with you guys,” Ratchet said.
“ Do you even know what we are up against?” Lyra asked.
“ Though opponents I know but I will do my best to help the team you just focus on getting better,” Rachet said. As soon as the plane landed the Arena was just across the street and everything was ready on their side.
“ You guys are on time we are about to start as soon as the other team gets here,” The official said.
“ One moment please I need to make a slight change with our team’s roster. our lead duelist is not feeling well and I would like to have our sub fill in for her,” Silver asked.
“ Go right ahead just fill this out and the mc will know what to do,” The official said before handing Silver a form to fill out. After filling the form out and handing it to the Official Silver took Lyra to the infirmary to get looked at. The nurse placed a thermometer in Lyra’s mouth and later took it out before giving her diagnosis.
“ Hundred and five, You made the right call pulling your friend out young man because she has a summer cold but don,t worry your friend should be better soon if she gets plenty of rest,” The nurse said.
“ But how will Ratchet duel without a Runner?” Lyra asked.
“ During our training period, He helped me build one for him and you will be surprised how much he picked up in just a few days,” Silver said.
“ In any case, I have an old Chinese Remedy that will keep the fever down a little so you can enjoy the match,” The nurse said before having Lyra drink some odd-looking drink which she did not like the taste of. Don,t worry this stuff may smell and taste bad but it really works.
Minutes later Silver and Lyra returned to the pit to get ready for the match.
“ What’s the diagnosis?” Lightning asked.
“ Lyra has a summer cold so all she needs is some rest and she will be better and ready for the next round,” Silver said.
“ Assuming we win this one first look at those guys they look so ripped they could crush our runners into cubes with their bare hands,” Ratchet said referring to Team Hēi'àn jù lóng.
“ Relax Ratchet they may be big but it’s not about how big your muscles are it’s about how skilled you are with your cards,” Silver said. As they were talking the MC began his announcement.
“ Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the second match of the W.R.G.P now let’s introduce the teams first representing our country the team of former students at the Duel Temple Team Hēi'àn jù lóng,” The MC shouted only for the crowd to boo them even though they were the home team. And all the way from North America the heroes of the North Team Silverwing. This time to crowd cheered for them since they would rather side with the good guys instead of the villains who somehow manage to win the right to represent their country. And now let’s get this duel started first filling in for Team Silverwing’s lead duelist will be their sub-member Crimson Ratchet. Ratchet looked nervous about his first-ever duel in the tournament and even more nervous about the big guy with rippling muscles and a blue sleeveless karate outfit that pulled next to him. And Filling in for Team Hēi'àn jù lóng is Hak Foo.
“ Like the prying Mantis devours its mate we will devour your team’s chances of winning this match,” Hak Foo said in a very loud and booming voice.
“ Not if I can help it my team is counting on me and I won,t let them down,” Ratchet replied with as much strength as he could muster.
“ Now activating the Action Field Speed World V,” The Mc Announced as the whole track transformed into a smaller version of the great wall of China that looked like a racecourse. After both Duelists took off it looked like Ratchet was about to take the corner first until Hak Foo hit his nitro and managed to send Ratchet spinning for a bit after his massive runner past him. As soon as Ratchet regained control he and Hak Foo drew their opening hands and started the duel.

A Chinese warrior with purple armor and a trident appeared and spun his weapon around before pointing it forward as a sign he was ready to fight.

After adding his card to his hand Hak Foo decided to end his turn. Go ahead and make your move but just know whatever you do is futile.
“ We shall see. My turn I draw,” Ratchet said as he drew his sixth card. Ratchet looked at his hand and saw his strategy manifest before him. First I activate the Spell One For One by discarding a monster from my Hand I can Special Summon a Level One monster from my Hand or Deck so I will discard Morphtronic Solartron from my hand and from my Deck I Special Summon Morphtronic Celfon in attack mode. Celfon appeared before unfolding into robot mode ready to fight.

“ But one is not enough next I activate the Spell Machine Duplication when a Machine-Type Monster with 500 or fewer attack points is on my field I can target that monster and Special Summon up to two more copies of that monster from my deck so I Special Summon two more Celfons. “ But I’m not done swarming the field yet because I activate my first Celfon’s attack position effect it dials a random number between one and six then I excavate that many cards and if any of those cards is a Morphtronic Monster I can Special Summon it so let’s do this Dial On. The first Celfon began flashing its numbers until it stopped on two which allowed Ratchet to check his top two cards which to his relief revealed what he needed. It looks like my spamming continues because I get to Special Summon Morphtronic Gametron in attack mode. A handheld gaming device appeared on the field before transforming into a robot with black parts and a power display on its screen.

“ Maybe not on their own but I’m not done yet I still have my Normal Summon so I will tribute one of my Celfons to Tribute Summon Morphtronic Tablon in attack mode. A tablet appeared before transforming into a robot with the different parts of the screen covered.

“ Now that my monsters are all here time to Summon my secret weapon I tune my level two Gametron with my level five Salartron and Tablon to Synchro Summon the king of all machines. Gametron displayed a message that said (tuning) before bursting into two stars and then two green rings that encircled both Solartron and Tablon and turned them into ten stars that fell into alignment.

“ Since when did Ratchet have a card that insanely powerful not to mention big enough to fracture the surface of the earth?” Lyra asked.
“ I traded it to him you see when we went through our latest batch of booster packs I pulled that card and he pulled the one card I could never get no matter how hard I tried so he has his ultimate weapon and I have the card that will allow my destruction swords to truly shine,” Silver said.
“ What exactly does it do?” Lightning asked.
“ Just watch and you will see,” Silver said.
“ 5000 attack points?” Hak foo said in shock.
“ That’s just the beginning Primus has two powerful effects depending on which mode it’s in and while it’s in attack mode twice per turn he allows me to tribute one monster I control to inflict 300 points of damage to you for each Morphtroninc monster in my GY so I tribute one of my Celfons to use this effect. One of the Celfons was absorbed into the rail gun and then caused it to build energy and blasted Hak foo for 1500 points of damage.

“ Now I activate that effect again this time for 1800 points of damage. Hak Foo got blasted again and was looking for action cards with no luck.

“ Time to end this Primus attack Idaten the Conqueror Star with All Spark Obliteration Cannon. Primus unleashed all of its power and blasted Idatan but not before Hak Foo managed to snag the first Action Card of the duel.
“ I may be going down but before I make a dent in your life points I activate the Action Spell Phoenix Arrow this inflicts 1500 points of damage to you. Before Idatan exploded Hak Foo fired a flaming arrow at Ratchet and nailed him.

As soon as they made it back to the stadium Hak Foo returned to his team’s pit with his head down in shame.
“ You dishonored our team with that shameful performance,” Jian Feng shouted in anger.
“ Forgive me, master Jian Feng, that boy’s monster took me by surprise,” Hak Foo said.
“ Now it’s my turn to take the field and do some damage this is going to be fun,” a man with white skin and red eyes said before taking the baton from Hak Foo and laughing maniacally after taking off.
“ You better hope Shi Zui can clean up your mess Hak Foo because I want to fight that red-haired boy and whatever that power is I sense coming from him,” Jian Feng said.
