The Evil Inside

Part 2

Rainbow Dash fell over laughing as Scootaloo rammed her head right into Twilight's ribs. Both ponies were still in a gaze of what had just happend.

"Ugh, what happend", Twilight said dazily as she struggled to her hooves.

"It was me, sorry Twi", Scootaloo responded already on her hooves. Scootaloo cocked her head over to Rainbow and said,"Oh my gosh Rainbow we need to talk privately". She sais it at such speed it'll make Pinkie jelous.

"Alright Squirt what 'cha want to talk about", Rainbow replied while trying to make herself as cool as possible.

"It's about last night", she responded while trying to make herself as small as possible.

Rainbow blinked. Did she say last night? "Twi, let's have lunch tomorow. Is that okay with you", Rainbow asked. All she got was a groan so she took it as a yes. She shoved Scootaloo along to alley way to have a little, talk to her about something.

Scootaloo was thinking the worst was yet to happen. Was she going to drink all of my blood? Was she going to torture me? Or was she going to make me like her? So many questions came to mind but no answers. Finally they reached their destination, the same alley way from last night.

It looked realitivly the same except for the body. It was gone thanks to police ponies cleaning up the scene and taking what ever evidence they had. But they still left all of the blood. It was grusome.

"You were the filly in that box, wern't you", Rainbow said while turning to face her. Her stare was borrowing into Scootaloo's mind. She could only nod her head.

"Tell the whole story the Squirt" Rainbow said. Was she mocking her.

"When you landed on the ground you woke me up. I opened my eyes to find you embrassing another filly. I was about to look away untill it happend. You sunk your fangs into her neck and blood rushed into her mouth" she stopped as she started to choke on her tears. She never cried untill now. What was happening to her? She felt a reassuring hoof on her shoulder. "Please don't kill me", Scootaloo chocked out.

When she said those words it was like a knife to her heart. Her number one fan, thought she was going to kill her. "No Squirt I would never kill you or anypony that I know" Rainbow said while trying to calm her down. It seemed to work as she stopped crying for now.

"Now let this be our little secret, okay", Rainbow said to Scootaloo. She nodded her head in agreement. "Now lets get you cleaned up. I have a friend I need to visit." Rainbow replied. They walked out of the alley way heading towards the Carousel Boutique.

Luna smiled as she looked at her star map for Nightmare Night. Making these type of maps really helped her to relax. It wasn't everyday you had to put one billion stars in the sky. She smilled at her map and moved on to her next phase.

She shuffled herself towards her canvas. She surronded herself with her landscape paintings. Some of which were finished, others not so much. but she prided herself in her work.

She levitated her paint brush to her muzzle and pictured the image in her mind. Right as she planned to get start two of her Lunar gaurds barged into her room. The sudden noise startled her as she lost concentration and her brush fell to the floor.

"WHY ART THOU HERE", Luna berated shaking the gaurds to her knees.

"It's a letter from the mayor of Ponyville", the one on the left stated clearly shaken.

At the mention of the name of Ponyville she instantly became nervous. "THOU ART DISMISSED" she responded as the gaurds, covering their ears, walked out of Luna's room.

She hesitantly opened the letter.

Dear Princess Luna,

We were all pleased to hear from Princess Celestia that you will be comingto Ponyville for Nightmare Night. I hope you have a good time her on you revisit to Ponyville, despite what had happened last time. But that is in the past. And by the way, try not to scare the children.

Sincerely, Mayor Mare

Twilight looked out into the night sky. It was another fantastic night by Princess Luna. She smiled in awe as a shooting star passed by. She had always liked night better because of the view, the peace and quiet, and study.

She turned around heading into the main room. Shelves after shelves of books were lined up. Not as impressive as the Canterlot library but still, a quite a collection. Her horn glowed as levitated ten books off the shelves.

She layed all ten books in a row before making her decision.

"It needs to be intresting", she said while putting back two books. "I needs to be desriptive", she continued taking two more books to the shelves. "It has to pose facts" she said while lifting one more book to the shelves. "It also needs to have fanasty" she said lifting three more books to the shelves. "And be well written" she stated while lifting another book to the shelves.

She looked down at her final selection with her mouth wide open. How could she have choose this book out of all the others? Did she mess up somehow? No she couldn't of, her system of choosing books was flawless. But how did this book pass all of the criteria?

She sighed. It was no use, she had chose this book no matter what. She sucked up her fears and fought the urge to throw up or throw it out the window.

She opened up the first page of, Vampires: The Evil Inside.

Earlier that day

As Rainbow continued to walk she was bombarded by headaches. This time however, they seemed to be speaking to her. Ala shen tehsk minh la she ti chin.

"You know what Scootaloo, I think I'm going home to rest, okay. I'll pick you up tomorrow" Rainbow stated. Scootaloo looked disapointed at first but brightened up at the words 'I'll pick you up'. She chuckled and flew off with her searing headache still present.
