The name at the top of the page said showing a jewel below it that looked like a closed eye with seven different coloured gems around it.



'Using this item, the wielder could hypnotize anyone they like to do as they wish of them.
The Eye can be used by any type of Pony.
And it's spell lasts until the next sunrise.

To use this item, all the Pony has to do is make those they wish to hypnotise look at the eye and say that they call upon the power of Somnus to activate the Eye. Then they say what they would like them to do.'



Reading this over once again and looking at the circular golden object on the table next to her, Rainbow Dash started smiling her 'This is going to be awesome' smile.

Rainbow had been to visit A K Yearling (aka Daring Do) just for a cup of tea and some catch up time, when she saw this new item on one of the shelves.

Pointing it out, A K told her she had just been on an adventure and retrieved it, but she didn't know what it was or what it did.

Saying she could find out for her, as in ask Twilight for help, Rainbow took it and headed for her friend's castle, only to find that neither Twilight nor Spike, or even Starlight Glimmer were there.

Going to the library, Rainbow got to work, pulling all the books on 'Ancient Objects' and started looking, finally finding it in the 15th book.

Looking outside, Rainbow saw there was still some time for her to have fun with it today, the only problem now was finding out who to use it on first...
