//------------------------------// // The Sun is Falling! // Story: The Sun Has Fallen // by DrawLight //------------------------------// On a peaceful night like this, the moon rose onto the sky by the princess of the night. Celestia slept already, while Luna just went into the dream realm to save other ponies from their nightmares and help out with their issues. Soon, Luna found some quite strange dreams, yet she couldn't do nothing but help out. Celestia's dream was one of the strange dreams she had encountered, especially since she seen Chrysalis stuck in a banana, and Celestia yelling at her: "REFORM! IT'S YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO LIVE!" Chrysalis started to transform, and she was... A tree? Luna wasn't even sure what she saw herself. But from a long night of helping ponies with nightmares, and... dreams in general, she finally went off to lower the moon down. Celestia, waking from her peaceful slumber of nice dreams (or so she thought so), the moon's lowering alerted her to rise the sun and let Equus know that the daytime has started. She got out of her bed and stood on her hooves. Walking towards the window, she stopped and powered her horn. It illuminated in gold aura, rising the sun above the hills. Light of the day was show- *CRASH* Celestia looked back to the sudden sound that surprised her. It caused her to not just see who's the unexpected visitor, but to let the sun fall. Yeah. That's right. "Oops," The visitor yelped, laying on the ground. She was an alicorn mare with a very bright orange coat, along with fiery mane and tail, and a couple of accessories. It was no other mare than... "Daybreaker." Celestia spoke, glaring, making the collapsed alicorn mare look up from her position. "Why hello there, PRINCESS," Daybreaker said in a sinister voice back to the glaring princess. "What brings you here?" Celestia questioned, walking towards the alicorn. "Don't know, just decided to crash into your life for a little while," Daybreaker spoke, standing up from her laying position. "Well, that definitely worked out perfectly," Celestia said sarcastically, still glaring. "Glad to help you," Daybreaker said back, grinning. "Now, if you don't mind, I have to get the sun risen completely," Celestia said, turning around and walking towards her window. Much to her surprise, there was no sun to be found. She stood there in shock, before asking any kind of question. "Wha? Wher-" she was interrupted by the sound of Daybreaker. "Wasn't me!" The alicorn held her hooves up in the air while flying. Celestia rolled her eyes as an answer, and went back to being surprised. "How could've this happen!?" Celestia said loudly. "Don't ask me. I'm not ruler of Equestria like you are," Daybreaker said dramatically. "I wasn't going to ask you," Celestia said back, annoyed. A few brief minutes passed from their conversation. It caused Celestia to panic even more. "What do I do? What do I do? What do I do? What do I do? What do-" "STOP IT! Nothing's gonna happen if you just sing the sentence to me," Daybreaker said in annoyance. Celestia raised her eyebrow. "These are the most used actions when ponies are worried. Aren't you used to it?" She questioned. "Yeah. You're just annoying," Daybreaker said, slightly grinning. "Wow, thanks," Celestia said sarcastically. "My pleasure," the sarcastic 'thanks' caused her to grin even more. Celestia jumped onto her bed, while Daybreaker stood on her spot. The two were stuck deep in thought of ways to get the sun back up. Daybreaker didn't find a solution, but she did find a question. "Did you even try to get it back up?" Daybreaker asked. "No," Celestia said, looking up from her laying position. "Why?" Daybreaker asked again. "Well, I like drama," Celestia answered. Daybreaker facehoofed. "Trust me, I saw you when you were practicing for that play. You're horrible at it," she followed. "Liking drama is different from doing it," Celestia told. "Meh." As soon as the two ended the conversation, the sun rose up. On it's own. "I thought you need to focus to rise the sun up," Daybreaker said. "Say what?" Celestia stood up and looked outside. Her jaw dropped as she saw the sun rise on it's own. "How?... what?..." Celestia spoke in shock, before yelling off to say: "LUNA!!!!" she screamed and ran out of the room, leaving Daybreaker alone. "Other evil souls would love to hear this," Daybreaker said before appearing a box of popcorn in front of her hooves, starting to eat. "My life's a lie..." Celestia laid on her bed, suddenly traumatized by the event of the day. "I'd say it's just your cutie mark," Luna said in an attempt to comfort her, only receiving an angry glare. "Well, it can't be that bad to not have a purpose of a cutie mark at your age," Daybreaker sat on a chair with Nightmare Moon on her left and Midnight Sparkle on her left, all of them eating popcorn Daybreaker teleported from earlier. "I'm older than 1000 years old," Celestia mentioned. "We are," Luna corrected. "Wow. It sucks to be you," Nightmare Moon commented. Celestia frowned at the last sentence. "Don't listen to them. They're just hungry weirdos," Luna said, glaring back at the 3 dark looking mares. "What can we say? It's true," Daybreaker said back. "How are you gonna get the sun back up?" Nightmare Moon questioned, getting an another popcorn in her mouth. "We'll find out what to do later. Now we gotta fix Celestia," Luna said, looking back to her sister. "This'll be fun, " Daybreaker grinned, chuckling in silence. Meanwhile on Earth... A brony sat on her chair, her legs crossed and placed on her desk, which had a computer on it. They sat there, deep in thought. It took a while for her to snap back to reality of questioning a simple question, that for most will make no sense. "Man, we've got a living princess Celestia on Earth!" she thought to herself. "How else is the sun abled to come up onto the sky? " Unbeknownst to her, Celestia has no more control over the sun anyway, so that's off the list.
