Flash Sentry and his new friend Axle (AKA Kamen Rider Build) were heading back to Canterlot High as fast as they could. After their encounter with the cloud monster that caused Time Turner to fall into a coma, Arabus, they learned that he was originally from Equestria. With this there was only one person that Flash could turn to who would have information on Equestrian magic: Sunset Shimmer.
When the two got to the school's parking lot, Flash wasted no time getting into the building. Flash knew Sunset was still in school, either in clubs, studying, or hanging out with her friends. Fortunately for the two they found the group of seven girls in the hallway.
"Hey Sunset, I was hoping to find you," Flash said as he placed a hand on Sunset's shoulder. When she turned around he caught a glimpse of Sweet Leaf lying on the floor. "What's going on?"
"That's what we want to know," Applejack said as she took a closer look at Sweet Leaf.
"She's not hurt; it's almost like she fell asleep out of nowhere," Twilight said.
"Maybe she was attacked," Rainbow added.
Axle smiled as he walked up to Sunset and extended his hand. "So you’re the Sunset I've heard so much about. Hi, I'm Axle," he said as Sunset shook his hand.
"Ah well it's nice to meat you Axle," Sunset replied.
While everyone was talking and looking over the body, Flash quickly noticed that Sweet Leaf wasn't giving off a shadow. Flash was sure that the others didn't notice this or else the girls would have mentioned it already. Acting relaxed, he placed his hand on Axle's shoulder. "Dude I need you to grab Sweet Leaf and get to the class room down the hall. It's the one with caution tape on it. I'll meet you there as fast as I can," Flash whispered into his ear. Axle nodded as he walked pass Sunset.
"Hey Sunset, do you mind if I talk to you for a moment?" Flash asked.
"Sure, no problem," Sunset answered. The two walked away as Axle began to talk with the other girls.
"Sunset I need to ask you something important," Flash said as he scratched the back of his head. "Have you ever heard of the name Arabus?"
Sunset's eyes went wide when she heard the name. She grabbed Flash by the jacket to bring it closer. "How do you know that name?" she asked, on the verge of panic.
"I just came across it," Flash said in surprise to Sunset's reaction.
"Flash, whatever you do, don't get involved. Arabus is from Equestria and it's too dangerous," Sunset said.
"Who's Arabus?" Pinkie Pie said as she popped up behind her.
"Jeez, another threat from Equestria," Rainbow said as the others came up. They didn't notice Axle picking up Sweet Leaf.
Sunset let out sigh as she let go of Flash. "Alright, I might as well tell you all. It all started back in Equestria, before the uniting of the tribes..."
Two elemental brothers brought destruction to pony kind. Arabus bent the skies to his will, while his brother Lavan shook the earth to its core. The only thing the two cared about were destruction. Many ponies tried to challenge their powers but they were no match for the two brothers.
The three tribes were on the brink of destruction till they decided to come together and form a plan. The Earth Ponies with their connection to the land were able to find a spring filled with the purest water. The water was the perfect catalyst for the Unicorn's magic, allowing them to enchant it with the strongest spell they could muster. The Pegasi were then able to bring the enchanted water to the sky to form a powerful storm.
This storm brought with it a mystic rain. When the two brothers were caught in the storm, their powers were weakened to the point that the Unicorns were able to seal them away. For a time they remained quiet.
But one day the greatest of wizards, Starswirl the Bearded, sensed that their powers were growing restless. Fearing what their release would bring he needed to make sure that they could never reunite. Since he was successful in sending the Sirens to another world he thought he could do the same with one of the brothers.
And we all know how the Sirens ended up.
"I guess if Arabus is here, he must be looking for his brother Lavan. But breaking his seal must have taken all of Arabus' remaining strength so recovering power would probably be what he'd do first," Sunset said as she finished her story. She then slapped her hand on her forehead as she realized something. "That's must be what Princess Twilight was warning me about. He must have slipped through the portal while I was in class."
"So we're going up against insanely powerful Elementals this time," Rainbow said. When everyone looked at her a grin showed up on her face. "It's about time we got a challenge."
"Rainbow, darling, please don't sound so excited about what might be the end of the world," Rarity said.
"We both know Rainbow Dash can't resist a challenge," Fluttershy followed.
"We need to find Arabus as soon as possible. We’ll start from the school," Sunset said before turning to Flash. "And Flash, please stay away from this. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if something from Equestria hurt you on my watch."
"Alright Sunset, but with how these elemental brothers sound, maybe the Kyurangers could help," Flash said with a smile.
Sunset let out a chuckle before sighing. "Flash, the Kyurangers are amazing, I mean they handle Jark Matter better then we ever could. But Equestrian magic is different than an Alien invasion. I know you’re just as worried as I am but this is what we do best," Sunset said with a smile. She then turned to the other girls and walked away to start their search.
"But if a giant monster shows up we'll be sure to give the Kyurangers a call," Pinkie said as she made a phone gesture with her hand before going along with her friends.
"I've been hearing stuff like that all day," Flash said. He then made his way to the the classroom where Axle was waiting. When he entered the room he saw Axle carrying Sweet Leaf piggyback style.
"Are you sure this is the best place to have her?" Axle asked.
"Says the guy whose base is a junk shop," Flash said as he walked over to the cabinet. He opened it and Axle's eyes went wide. "I think it's time for you to meat the rest of the team," He said with a grin.
Flash and Axle wasted no time in getting Sweet Leaf into sick bay where Sugarcoat tended to her. Axle was amazed to be in the Kyurangers' ship while the rangers were surprised to learn of Axle's abilities. Flash told the other rangers what Sunset told him.
"Wow, I didn't think I'd see the elemental brothers here," Aria said.
"Am I the only one who has a problem with this Starswirl guy using our world for a dumping ground for all of his world's baddies?" Comet said as he looked over at Aria. "No offense," he said. Aria just rolled her eyes.
Axle was very confused at their conversation. "Wait, so she is from the same world as those elements and Sunset?" he asked.
"Don't worry, you'll get caught up soon enough bro," Bulk said as he patted Axle on his back.
"Maybe this is something we should leave to the Rainbooms. Solving magical problems is there thing," Comet said.
"It’s not like we have the enchanted water they used in the story in our world," Ditzy added.
"We can't do that!" Flash yelled as he slammed on the table. "We are the universe's protectors. We need to at least help if we can, Even if it's not Jark Matter."
"Flash your heart is in the right place but there's nothing we can do," Big Mac said.
"Yeah it's not like how you guys helped me," Axle said. "We both fought against Arabus and it almost costed us. From what I saw of Sunset , she looked like she knew what she was doing."
Flash let out a sigh before pulling out his Kyutama. He looked down at it as he remembered all the battles he fought up to this point. "Axle, ever since I became a Kyuranger I felt I finally had the power to protect others. After so much crazy stuff I was finally out of the sidelines. Now I feel almost as useless during the Friendship Games."
Shou walked over to Flash's shoulder. "Flash, I know it's a hard pill to swallow, but if magic from another world is what's needed then there's not much the Kyurangers can do," the commander said. Flash looked down disappointed for a moment before looking back at Shou. "But, I've been with you long enough to know you’re not the kind of person to just sit by when you have the ability to help. If this Arabus as dangerous as they say then these girls might need some help."
Shou's words stayed in Flash's mind for a moment before a wave of new confidence washed over him. "Alright guys, we may not be able to fight, but let's give the girls as much support as we can," he said as he turned to the others.
"YEAH!" Bulk yelled in his usual manner.
"We'll search Canterlot top to bottom for that cloud. I owe him for what he did to Time Turner," Comet said.
"Well you may need to wait if you want to go hunting," Sugarcoat said as she entered the main deck with a tablet in hand. "It's almost night time, which means no shadows for Arabus to eat. He's probably gone into hiding."
"So we'll need to start the search in the morning," Ditzy said.
"Good thing it's a Saturday," Big Mac followed.
"Tomorrow is super hero time!" Axle yelled with a smile. The teens spent the rest of their time thinking about their next move as well as getting to know Axle more.
Night soon fell on the town of Canterlot. Up until sundown, people were suddenly falling unconscious. In their wake was a cloud which as only growing larger. The more powerful and larger Arabus had started to lay low in the alleys, waiting for anyone to walk under a street lamp.
"Dang it, I'm still not at full power yet," Arabus said as he snuck through the alleyways. "Well I could use this time to search for my brother's seal."
"See, I told you we'd find this thing," a female voice said. Arabus turned to see Ikagen and Madakko walk into the light.
"My my, out of everything I've seen in this world you two are by far the strangest. I wonder how your shadows will taste," Arabus said before he flew at the two. Before the cloud could eat Ikagen's shadow, the assistant jumped out of the way. "Hmm, you’re a fast one."
"We've been observing you and we know you feed on shadows, Jellybrain," Madakko said.
"Anyway we’re not here to fight, we're here to make an offer."
"An offer? What on earth would you have that I want?" Arabus asked.
"On behalf of the Jark Matter Shogunate, we would like to join forces," Ikagen answered.
"So you’re the Jark Matter everyone is talking about," Arabus said as he looked over the two aliens. "But that doesn't answer my question: what's in it for me?"
"All we need you to do is destroy the Kyurangers. I'm sure you’ve met them already," Madakko said.
"And after that we can drain this planet of every last drop of Planetium it has," Ikagen added as he clenched his fist. "In return we are willing to give you the rank of Karo and provide you with all the resources you desire."
Marching out of the darkness was a group Indavers. "Hmm, the thought of my own followers never occured to me," Arabus said. He quickly flew along the ground and ate the shadows of the alien soldiers. As the Indavers fell to the ground, Arabus started to grow. His cloud body started to look like a humanoid upper body. What was his arms grew claws, and horns started to form on his head. "Yes, I think I might be willing to cooperate," the cloud said in a more menacing voice.
"Glad we're in agreement," Ikagen said.
"But know this, I have my own goals so don't get in my way," Arabus said as he flew off into the air.
"I can't believe we need to work with that wind bag," Madakko said as she put her hands on her hips.
"We must, the power he has may just be enough to get rid of those pesky defenders," Ikagen explained. After a moment of silence between the assassins Ikagen pulled out his rifle. "Ya know it's rude to not introduce yourself," he said.
Out of the darkness a figure attacked the assassin, who caught the attack with his axe. The figure who attacked was clad in red armor with black pipes running throughout his body. He had a metallic blue cobra symbol on his chest as well as on his helmet to form a visor. His weapon was a short black blade with exposed wires and a large red wheel.
"The names Blood Stalk, and why did you have to ruin my fun?" the figure called Blood Stalk asked. "Not only did you get the cloud on your side, you had to go and ruin my game of hide and seek."
"You must be very powerful or very foolish to attack me from behind," Ikagen said as he broke away. The two traded blows at lighting speed with neither of them landing a hit. The two soon realized they were evenly match as they locked blades again.
"Someone needs to knock a jelly brain like you down a peg," Madakko said as she pulled out her blaster. Before the red alien could fire, Blood Stalk pulled out a black blaster with his other hand and fired it at Madakko. The shots hit and sent the assassin back.
"You were saying," Blood Stalk said as he turned back to Ikagen and broke away. "Anyway there's nothing I could do about it now. There's no way I could have offered him the whole planet. Who knows, maybe it would be fun to see that guy fight for your team," he said before he started to walk away.
"Wait, you’re just going to leave like that?" Madakko asked.
"Hey my job isn't to get in the way of your business. It's to fight Build. I was hoping that cloud would have made him stronger. That little squabble was just what you owed me," Blood Stalk said as steam started to come out of the pipes on his body. Soon the steam covered his body as he gave simple wave. "Ciao," he said before the steam cleared and he disappeared.
"Who does that jelly brain think he is, coming in and starting a fight, then just leaving," Madako muttered.
"Oh Madakko, I say we got off easy. For a split second I let my guard down and if I didn't see him, the damage would have been much worse," Ikagen said.
"Are you going soft jelly brain?" Madakko teased.
"That's enough from you. As soon as those Kyurangers are defeated, Jark Matter will control the universe," Ikagen said as he started to walk away.
Morning soon came and Sunset and her friends were out searching. They had two objectives: find Arabus and find the seal that held his brother, Lavan. With her super speed, Rainbow was able to cover the most ground in the shortest amount of time. Fluttershy used her ability to communicate with animals to send the local birds and small creatures to scout out the town.
"Aww, my feet are killing me. I need to sit down soon," Rarity said as she picked up her leg to rub her aching feet. Rarity, Sunset and Pinkie were searching the park for any sign of their objective. "Do we have any clue of what this seal even looks like?"
"Kinda, last night I wrote to Princess Twilight about what was going on," Sunset said as she pulled her journal out of her bag. When she opened it she turned to a page with a drawing of a magical circle and showed it to the others. "I was surprised to see her finding the seal so fast. I was afraid it would be too late before she found it."
"Why don't we look at the town square next?" Pinkie suggested.
"Sounds good," Sunset said. Before the girls left the park screams started to fill the air.
"I think we just got a lead," Rarity said before the three started running.
Once they got to the scene of people running, the teens saw a group of Indavers causing mayhem. "Oh thank goodness, I never thought I'd be happy to see those gray weirdos," Sunset said.
"Still, we need to help those people," Pinkie said. The other two nodded as they all grabbed onto their necklaces and transformed into their magical girl forms. Rushing in Pinkie jumped up and threw out a shower of glitter. The Invaders looked at the sparkles curiously before they started to glow and then explode, sending the troops flying. "This party is really poppin’," Pinkie said with a grin.
Shards of crystals started to appear around Rarity while some of the troops were charging at her. "All of your outfits are simply awful. Don't worry, I'll make you something a bit more dazzling," Rarity said. With a wave of her hand the crystals went flying and hit the Indavers.
The foot soldiers were quick to surround Sunset. Before they could fire their blasters, Sunset ran to one and grabbed his arm. The other Indavers fired at her, but Sunset managed to use the alien she grabbed like a shield before throwing the alien at another. While they were distracted, the girl punched out one of them before performing a sweeping kick to trip the others.
"The Kyurangers aren't the only ones that can kick butt," Sunset said.
Meanwhile the Kyurangers were on a search of their own. The team was made up of Flash, Big Mac, Comet Tail, Bulk, and Ditzy with Sugarcoat and Aria staying behind to care for the unconscious rangers. Axle was also tagging along for back up. "So what exactly are we looking for? As a guy who eats, sleeps, and breathes machines, this magic stuff is really new to me," Axle asked.
"From my experience, unearthly pastel-colored lights are usually a clear sign that magic is around," Flash answered.
"And apparently intense emotions are a byproduct of it from what I've seen," Comet followed.
"So all we're doing is finding Arabus and calling the girls if we find him?" Bulk asked.
"That's all we really can do," Flash said as they walked through the park. However it didn't take long for the six to run into the battle Sunset, Pinkie, and Rarity were in the middle of. "But if some Indavers decided to show their ugly mugs, then I see no reason why we can't go the extra mile," Flash said as he pulled his Kyutama.
After making sure no one was around, the others pulled out their own Kyutama. Axle put on his driver and started shaking the Rabbit and Tank Full Bottles.
"SAI ZA CHANGE!"
"ARE YOU READY!?"
"Star change!" The five Rangers said.
"Henshin!" The lone rider followed.
After the constructs appeared the six were transformed into their superhero forms and charged into the group of aliens.
"The Super Star!" Red yelled as he swung his sword. He took down three Indavers that were about to attack Pinkie from behind. "Leo Red!"
"Wow that was a close one," Pinkie said with a smile as she thanked the ranger.
"The Poison Star," Orange said as he performed a slash with his spear. He caught one of the Indavers mid-air with his scorpion tail and slammed it into the others. "Scorpius Orange."
"The Beast Star!" Blue said as he jumped into the fight. "Lupus Blue!"
While he was fighting, Sunset was close by doing the best she could. Unfortunately when an invader swung its dagger, she couldn't react in time. However before the attack hit, Lupus Blue used his claw weapon to catch the attack. "Wow, am I glad to see you guys," Sunset said.
"The Ring Star!" Black yelled as he charged through the crowd. The ranger then jumped up and body slammed two of the aliens. With them down he stood up and performed a double bicep pose. "Tauru Black, YEAH!"
Rarity had created a wall to block a firing squad. As they focused their laser blasts on the pony magical girl, they didn't see Pink running up to them with her Kyu Shot in hand. "The Speed Star..." the pink ranger started before she tripped on a rock. When she hit the ground, her weapon went off and hit one of the Indavers. The shot caused the Indaver to accidentally shoot one of his fellow soldiers next to him. This caused a chain reaction that caused the firing squad to fall. "Aquila Pink," the ranger said in a daze.
"Thank you for the save," Rarity said as she helped Pink up off the ground. "But you really need to pose. Maybe I could teach you how to walk like a proper lady once this is all over."
"The jumping ability of a rabbit," Build said as he punched one of the goons. "The power of a tank," he followed as he kicked another one. The treads on his shoe started to spin and grinded on the alien's body before being pushed away. "This is a winning combo. Kamen Rider Build!" the rider finished as he posed.
"Who's the half and half guy?" Pinkie asked as she saw the Kamen Rider fight.
"He's a new friend of ours. We're a little short handed," Pink said.
"Uh, he really needs to work on his color coordination," Rarity commented as she inspected the Rider's armor.
As the group fought on Build was soon back to back with Black. "Wow, there's a lot more of these things than usual," the black ranger said as he swung his axe.
"I think I have something for situations like this," Build said as he pulled out a white Full Bottle. He replaced the red bottle with the white one before turning the crank.
"HEDGEHOG!!!"
"ARE YOU READY!?"
"Build Up!" Build said as his armor transformed. As all of the red parts turned white, a spiky shoulder pad formed on his right arm and a large spike ball on his right hand. His rabbit eye plate had been switched with a hedgehog. Build raised his spike ball arm and the spikes on it extended, hitting all of the Indavers.
"You better not poke me with one of those things," Black said.
"No need to worry," Build said as he swung around his spike ball arm. He continued to knock away Indavers till something blindsided him and sent the rider flying across the battlefield. "When did the forecast call for a hurricane?" Build said with his head spinning.
This took everyone by surprise, but it was even more surprising when they saw what sent the rider flying. Arabus was floating above them with a menacing presence. "My, my, I never knew there were so many of you costumed weaklings," Arabus said.
"Oh no, I didn't think we would see Arabus so soon," Sunset said in fear.
"That's Arabus!?" Rarity yelled.
"We need to call the others," Sunset said as she started to look for cover. "Try to keep him busy till they get here."
"And how do we keep a big scary storm cloud?" Pinkie asked.
"We can always lend a hand," the pink ranger said.
"That would be lovely," Rarity said as the Kyurangers took the lead. "We'll just go help your friend out."
"Alright guys let's see how this guy likes us going all out from the start," Red said as he took his Kyutama and placed in into his weapon. All the others followed.
"GALAXY!"
All five of their weapons began to glow before they all performed a group attack. "All Star Impact!" they all yelled as their attacks went flying.
Arabus held up his arms to block the combination of attacks. Instead of phasing through his cloud body the waves of energy just pushed against him. After a moment the energy dissipated, leaving Arabus untouched. "Wow, that actually tickled a little," the elemental said with a grin.
"We hit him with all we had and that still wasn't enough," Blue said. "Just how much stronger did he get?"
"Why don't I show you," Arabus replied as he put his hands together. A ball of wind started to form as he started the wind up. Once it was large enough Arabus threw the ball, which turned into a raging tornado once it left his hand. The winds were so strong that the Rangers were blown away. "With your shadows I'll only grow stronger," Arabus said, looming over the Rangers. As he was about to consume the Rangers’ shadows he stopped when he noticed small sparkles fall over him. He didn't know what to make of them till a crystal sphere enclosed him. Once the sphere was sealed the sparkles started to glow.
Everyone looked to see Rarity with her hands glowing with Pinkie standing next to her. "Pinkie's glitter may not be able to touch you on its own..." Rarity started.
"...But let's see how you handle an enclosed explosion," Pinkie finished with a grin. After a second an explosion went off within the sphere, filling it with smoke.
"Ok, I'll admit that hurt," Arabus said as he rubbed his head. Lighting soon started to form around his hands. "But don't expect to pull something like that off again," he said as he began to attack his prison. As he punched, the crystal wall held sturdy.
On the roof of a nearby building, Blood Stalk was watching the whole battle unfold. He was holding a rifle that looked like a combination of his blaster and blade. He saw Arabus get captured through the scope of the rifle. "Hmm, I think it is time to add a little bit of spice to this game," Blood Stalk said. He then started to flip a few latches on his weapon before spinning the red wheel on the blade.
"DEVIL STEAM!"
"STEAM SHOT!!!"
When he pulled the trigger a bolt of steam went flying. The shot soon came to the crystal sphere and broke right through it. everyone was so surprised by the barrier breaking that they didn't see the black smoke start to fill it. Menacing laughter soon filled the air as the cracks on the crystal grew bigger before the sphere shattered. A black tornado started to form as it climbed to the sky. The skies turned dark as if a huge storm was coming. Everyone watched in shock as Arabus' face formed on the center tornado.
"What's happening!?" Sunset asked as she ran up to her friends.
"Something hit Arabus and now he's out of control," Red answered.
"SO MUCH POWER!" Arabus' face yelled as the wind started to pick up. Lighting began to strike randomly as the tornado laughed. "Now nothing can stop me from freeing my brother," he announced as his tornado form flew up into the clouds.
"Well... Didn't see that coming," Build said as he helped Pink up.
"Things are getting really dangerous. Now we really need to find that seal before he does and there's a super storm over the town," Pinkie explained.
"Well we don't need to look too hard," Sunset said as she pulled out her phone. "Turns out one of Fluttershy's animals found the seal in the forest. The others texted that we'll all meet. If that's where Arabus is going then that's where we'll put a stop to him."
"Wait, let us help out too," Red said.
"Sorry, but from our experience it's best to leave Magic problems to the professionals," Rarity said. "But we would really appreciate if you all can help everyone with this natural disaster."
"You can count on us," Black said as the girls ran off.
Once the girls were gone Pink ran up to the red ranger. "Come on Flash, the town is bound to be in a panic from the storm," Pink said.
Red just kneeled down on the ground staying quiet. "I'm still useless," the red ranger said to himself.
"Flash this is no time to be sulking, people need us." Orange said.
"What's wrong? You never acted like this when Jark Matter beat us," Blue added. "You’re usually the first one to tell us to get back into the fight."
"No use, It's hard for him to get out of a funk like this," Pink said.
Build walked up to Red and placed a hand on his shoulder. "You guys go on, I'll try to help him out," the Kamen Rider said.
The others gave him a nod as they ran into town. Red and Build transformed back to their normal forms before they started to walk in the other direction.
Flash and Axle soon found themselves sitting by the fountain in the park. "Come on man, where's all that energy you had back on the ship?" Axle asked.
"I just really thought that going all out from the start was going to at least do something. I really wanted to help the girls out but I guess the only thing that can defeat Equestrian magic is Equestrian magic," Flash said as he looked at his friend.
"But that’s no reason to be so hard on yourself," Axle said before pulling out his phone. "Do you know how many inventions blow up in my face? If I gave up after one setback I wouldn't have stuff like my Build Phone."
"Yeah Flash, nothing goes as planned. But it's from those failures that we can improve," Comet's voice said.
"Comet? shouldn't you be helping the others," Flash asked as he saw his friend come up.
"Let’s just say I'm returning the favor, leader," Comet said. He sat on the other side of Flash and patted him on the back. "Someone told me that you need to work through your shortcomings in order to get stronger."
Flash was silent for a moment as he thought about Comet's words, recognizing that its something Shou would have said. "Thanks Comet, I needed that," Flash said as he stood up with a smile. "Now come on, let's go help the others."
"Actually I think Twilight and her friends are going to need our help more," Comet said.
"What makes you say that?" Axle asked.
"Remember when Arabus was trapped in Rarity's shield?" Comet asked as the two thought back to the fight a few moments ago. "Something managed to break through it and somehow powered up Arabus. It must have been something from our world since I'm pretty sure he doesn't have any allies from the other side here. That power up may be too much for the girls' magic."
"Then we need to get to them," Flash said.
"But where are they?" Axle asked. All of a sudden a huge clap of thunder caught their attention. Looking off in the distance the three saw a black cloud start to form towards the forest outside of town. "Never mind, that's a good guess."
"How are we going to get there in time?" Comet asked as he looked over at Flash.
"We walked over here so we don't have my car," Flash said before the two rangers looked at Axle.
"Don't look at me, my bike only seats two," Axle said.
At that moment a call tone went off bringing Flash's attention to his wrist band. "I couldn't help but over here your dilemma," Shou's voice said through the communicator. "I just so happen to have a Kyutama that can solve your transportation problem."
"Shou you’re the best," Flash said before both his and Comet's wrist band transformed into their Saiza Blasters. the two rangers pulled out their kyutama wile Axle pulled out his driver and two Full Bottles. "Alright guys, Let's Rocket," Flash said as he placed his Kyutama into the blaster.
"LEO KYUTAMA!"
"LUPUS KYUTAMA!"
"RABBIT! TANK! BEST MATCH!"
"SAI ZA CHANGE!"
"ARE YOU READY?!"
"Star Change!"
"Henshin!"
"MOONSAULT OF STEEL! RABBIT-TANK!"
"YEAH!"
Once the three heroes were transformed, Blue pressed the button on his belt to reveal a new yellow Kyutama. He spun the top surface to show the image of a man in a chariot. He then replaced the kyutama in his blaster and pushed back.
"AURIGA KYUTAMA!"
"SAI ZA ATTACK!"
The blue ranger then pulled the trigger on his blaster and the construct of a chariot constellation appeared. The construct then turned into a ball of light and flew up into the air before landing onto Blue, and his whole body was covered in light. Once the light died down Red and Build were surprised to see that in the blue Ranger’s place was a blue wolf themed motorcycle.
"W-what just happened!?" the blue ranger's voice said. The motorcycle’s handlebars started to move on their own.
"Dude I think that Kyutama turned you into a motorcycle," Red said as he took a closer look at the bike. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah I feel fine surprisingly," the bike replied.
"Well then, problem solved," Build said as he got on his own bike.
Red nodded as he got onto the wolf themed motorcycle. "Wait, shouldn't we talk about who rides who?" Comet's voice asked.
"No time," Red said as he started the engine.
"At least tell me you know how to ride one of these," the bike said.
"Of course, I was going to run the motocross event in the Friendship Games," Red said as he and Build started to ride off towards the tornado.
Moving as fast as they could Sunset, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie made it to the woods. They soon ran into Rainbow before meeting with Twilight, Applejack, and Fluttershy near a clearing in the woods. In the middle of the clearing was the magical circle that Sunset showed her friends scorched into the ground. The seven girls saw the tornado with Arabus' face in the sky as lighting bolt after lighting bolt hit the circle.
"So that's the guy?" Applejack asked. Sunset only nodded when she turned to her.
"Is it me or does he look scarier then you described him?" a cowering Fluttershy asked.
"I don't know how, but he somehow got even stronger than when he was consuming shadows," Sunset explained.
"Well this guy might look meaner, but we're still going to kick his butt back to Equestria. Right girls?" Rainbow said.
"Right!" Pinkie yelled in response.
"Let’s show that mass of collected water vapour why he's wrong for thinking taking over our world would be easy," Twilight said before the seven girls transformed into their magical pony forms. The girls all ran out into the clearing before taking a fighting stance. "Alright Arabus, your trail of destruction ends here!" she announced.
"Oh really," Arabus' voice said as the tornado formed into the elemental's body. His body looked the same as before, only much bigger and made up of black clouds instead of white. "It took the whole pony race to seal me away, even without this new power that flows through me. What makes you think you lot could stop me now?" he asked as the wind began to kick up.
"Back then the pony tribes worked together to defeat you and your brother and with our power of friendship, and we'll do it again," Sunset said. Soon the seven girls began to go different colors. They all held out their hands before firing seven beams of light. The beams then came together to form a rainbow colored blast that headed right for Arabus.
Arabus saw this and fired his own blast of lighting. When the two attacks hit each other they were in a stalemate. However, red lines started to glow on Arabus' body for a moment before his lighting overpowered the girls’ rainbow blast. When the lighting hit, the girls went flying. "Ha-ha, just as I thought. You’re just as weak as those ponies. Why don't I do you all a favor and take you out of my misery," he said as he threw a punch at the girls. The punch turned into a cyclone as it headed at the seven, but Rarity formed a domed shield around them. "That little trick won't last for long," Arabus said as he continued to attack.
"Why didn’t the rainbow blast work? The Rainbow blast always works," Rainbow said.
"It must have been that bolt that hit him back in the park," Sunset thought out loud. "Whoever fired it must have infused Arabus with an energy not from Equestria."
"Think it might be one of those aliens trying to get the wind bag on their side?" Applejack asked.
"That would make a lot of sense," Twilight said.
"Bet ya regretting not accepting the Kyurangers’ help now." Pinkie said as she looked over at Sunset.
"Yeah, Major regrets," Sunset said as she sat on the ground.
Red and Build were racing as fast as they could through the forest. The storm took a turn for the worst as the wind got stronger and the lighting struck more frequently. "Um, you guys do know it’s a bad idea to be under a tree in a lighting storm," Comet's voice said.
"I think the weather is the least of our worries," Build said. The two somehow managed to maneuver their bikes between the trees of the forest.
The wind started to picked up so much that a tree uprooted and was now flying towards the two. "Comet look out!" Red yelled as he tried to react to the incoming tree.
Build pulled ahead of the ranger and pulled out his Drill Crusher. He held the weapon forward as the drill started to spin.When the weapon made contact, the tree was crushed into pieces.
"Thanks for the save," Red said.
"No problem," Build said with a thumbs up. As they grew closer to the eye of the storm, Red glanced up to see flashes in the clouds. Acting fast, the ranger bumped into the rider to push him to the side. After only a second, a bolt of lightning hit right between the two bikes. "Hey good call."
The two sped up when they got onto a proper path. Further up on the trail a bolt of lightning hit the ground and created a huge hole. Not seeing the gap, the two crashed into it and went flying into the clearing. When their bikes hit the ground they transformed into their human and smartphone forms respectively. When the three got up they saw Arabus attacking Rarity's shield.
"Looks like the girls weren't able to stop him on their own," Red said.
"We need to help them," Build said as he started to run over to the crystal dome.
Red turned to see Blue was holding his arm. "Are you ok to fight?" Red asked.
"Yeah I just need some time to recover," Blue said as he started to walk to the side. "I'll just hold you back. Just go on without me."
Red nodded before following Build. The girls saw the two heroes coming towards them and told Rarity to make an opening for them. The two's arrival had gone unnoticed by Arabus as he continued to attack. "Are we glad you guys are here," Applejack exclaimed as the opening closed.
"As you can see things aren't going so well," Twilight said.
"That cloud cut right through our rainbow blast. He's like a super baddie," Pinkie added.
"Yeah we figured that," Build said.
"Looks like going all out in the beginning didn't work for you ether. Any ideas are welcome," Red said as he looked around at the others.
"Whatever you think of, you better do it quick, I don't know how much longer I can hold this up," Rarity said. Cracks began to appear all over her shield.
"Wait a minute!" Twilight said, grabbing everyone's attention. "In Sunset's story, the elemental brothers were defeated when the three pony tribes united their powers," she explained.
"Ok, but how does that help us now?" Rainbow asked.
"Well we have three tribes right here," Twilight said as she brought attention to the Ranger and Rider that were under the dome with them. "What if we can’t beat him with just our Geodes or Kyutama or..." Twilight paused when she looked at Build. "Um?"
"Full Bottles," Build answered. "Hi, I'm Kamen Rider Build."
"Yeah," Twilight said as she picked up her train of thought. "What if we need to unite our powers like the ponies did before us?"
Everyone looked at each other before Applejack spoke up. "Maybe it's worth a shot."
"But what about Leo Red?" Fluttershy asked. "The Kyurangers are like us. Their powers are at their best when their altogether."
"I don't think we have time for me to call for backup," Red said. As he was trying to think of how to fix this problem, the Kyutama began to glow. "What the?" A small ball of red light came out of his Kyutama and floated in front of him. Soon he turned over to the Blue Ranger who was sitting on the side to see that his Kyutama was acting the same way. The blue ball of light started floating towards the group, soon joining the red ball of light.
In the town the Orange, Black, and Pink Rangers were trying their best to protect the town from the storm. Black was holding back a car that was being blown by the wind from crashing into a group of people. Pink was in the middle of getting a group of kids to safety while Orange was using his tail to stop a power line from falling into a building. The three regrouped once they made sure that everyone was safe.
"Well that takes care of this part of town. Lets..." Black started before his Kyutama began to glow. Orange's and Pink's bagan to do the same as the balls of colored light began to float up into the sky.
On the ORION, Shou was sitting at the main console with Aria standing behind him. "Hey, why can't we see anything?" Aria asked in annoyance.
"The storm is blocking our sensors," Shou answered as he crossed his arms.
Out of nowhere a light started to glow from Aria's pocket. She pulled out her Kyutama so see that it was the source of the light. A ball of light came out before it started flying down to earth.
"what do you think that's all about?" Aria asked.
In the sick bay, Sugarcoat was looking at her tablet to monitor the condition of her teammates. All of a sudden a light started to come form the two unconscious rangers’ pockets in their respective colors. The teen then pulled out her own Kyutama that was also glowing. Soon a ball of light came out of them and then phased threw the wall down to Earth.
It wasn't long before there were nine balls of light floating before the rangers all in the Kyurangers’ respective colors. After a moment the nine balls of light came together in a flash that blinded everyone in the dome. When the light died down the balls of light were gone and in their place was a Kyutama that was a mix of all the colors in a gold frame. On the Kyutama's surface was the Kyuranger symbol, a star with three rings orbiting it. "What is that?" Sunset asked.
Red just reached out and grabbed the orb, feeling the awesome power. "I think my Kyutama called for help from the others and this is their response. Packed in this signal Kyutama is the power of all nine Kyurangers," Red explained.
"That's great, now you can really hit that guy with all ya got," Pinkie said.
"Yeah, but as strong this thing is, I think we're only going to get one shot with it," Red said.
"Then we just won't miss," Build said as he punched his fist into his hand. "And I think I have an idea on how to make sure of that."
"Enough of these games! I didn't use all my power to escape my prison and follow my brother's energy to this strange world just to play with children, " Arubus yelled from outside the dome. His patience was running thin as he prepared for his final attack on the shield. "Divine Whirlwind!" he yelled as his arms turned into twisters. His arms rocketed into the shield and shattered it.
With the dome destroyed, those who were hiding under it scattered. Rainbow, Fluttershy, and Twilight used their wings to take to the sky with Rarity following riding one of her crystals like a hoverboard. Pinkie was holding onto the red ranger as she used one of her explosions to propel them out of the way. Applejack and Sunset were holding on to Build as he used his spring leg to get them out of harm's way.
"So you’re finally done hiding," Arubus said as he brought down more lighting. "And I see those costumed warriors have joined you, good. They can share your fate."
Once Build landed he let go of the two girls. "Oh we weren’t hiding, just working on a strategy to kick your butt," Applejack said as she took a fighting stance.
"Time to kick it into overdrive," Build said as he started to turn the crank on his driver.
"READY?! GO!!!"
"VULTIC FINISH! YEAH!!!"
Red and blue energy started to cover Build's body as he crouched down and jumped into the air. The energy around his body propelled him as he got into position to kick. But before his attack could land, Arabus reached out and grabbed his leg. He then spun around before throwing the rider into the sky. "Did you really think that would stop me?" Arabus asked, proud of his counter attack.
"No, not really. We just needed you to get him into position," Rainbow said with a sly smile on her face. The girls soon started to regroup around the red ranger.
"Ya know Arabus, there’s an old saying in our world," Red said as he pointed at the cloud monster. "Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it."
"That's right," Twilight said as she mirrored Red's pose. "Just like how the three pony tribes came together to defeat you, we've combined our three unique powers to stop you."
"Please, that was pure luck what those ponies did to my brother and I," Arabus said.
"Why don't you tell me if this is luck," Red said as he replaced his red Kyutama on his Saiza Blaster with the multicolored one before pushing it back twice.
"GALAXY!!!"
Soon a rainbow ball of energy started to form in front of the ranger’s blaster. at the same time, the seven girls were glowing with energy as they went into position behind the ranger. They floated in the air as they started to pool their energy together. At the same time Red pulled the trigger, launching the ball of energy, and the girls fired their rainbow blast. As the multicolored ball flew towards the cloud monster, the rainbow blast formed into a ring around it, fusing into one attack.
Arabus prepared for the attack but it just flew right past him. "Haha what was that?" he said with a smug grin on his face.
"Your defeat!" Build's voice said. Arubus turned to see the Kamen Rider falling right towards the combined attack. Once the mass of energy hit his leg he started to turn the crank on his driver again.
"READY?! GO!!"
A rainbow colored vortex surrounded his body and started to propel him towards Arabus. The energy formed a drill-like cone around his leg as he got closer. Arubus tried to grab his leg again, but his cloud body just got sucked into the vortex.
"YUUJOU FINAL CRUSH!" the girls, Ranger, and rider all yelled as the attack made contact with Arubus.
"No, no, you can't do this, NNNOOOOOOO!!!!" the cloud yelled. Once half off his body was sucked into the vortex a magical circle appeared. Build soon crashed into the ground, forming a huge crater when he landed and kicking a cloud of dust. In the wake of the attack, shadows started to fly into the air back to their owners.
Red grabbed Twilight to try and protect her from the shockwave of the crash. "Do-do you think it worked?" Twilight asked as she looked past the ranger to see what happened.
After a moment the dust cleared and the rider climbed out of the hole with something under his arm. "The laws of victory are set," Build said as he raised his arm to the air. The clouds started to break, allowing sunlight to shine onto the rider.
"THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!" Pinkie yelled as she and the others ran up to the rider. The blue ranger had finished recovering and joined the group.
Red looked down at the multicolored Kyutama he used, only to see it fade into colorful dust.
"Hey, what is that?" Sunset asked as she noticed the sphere Build was carrying.
"I think it's Arabus," Build said as he held up the orb. it looked to be made of glass and was filled with clouds. Yellow glowing eyes could be seen through the glass. "I don't know how we did it, but we sealed him within this thing."
"You think I'm beat, ha," Arubus' voice said threw the orb. "My brother will be freed and he will continue the destruction."
"Fat chance, we stopped you before you could break Lavan's seal," Sunset said as she took the orb. however, as if on cue the ground began to shake. Everyone's attention went towards the magical circle in the clearing. Cracks started to form in the ground around the seal before erupting into a tower of fire.
"I may not have been able to break the seal, but I was able to weaken it to allow Lavan to free himself," Arabus said as the teens looked in horror. The pillar soon disappeared to show a giant golem made of lava. The monster let out a mighty blast of fire as he roared. After a moment Lavan began to walk, not knowing nor caring where he was. As he walked, giant flaming footprints were left in his wake.
"Well that's just great. We've gone from one natural disaster to another," Applejack said.
"I think it's time for us to take over," Red said before turning back to Sunset. "I mean if you think we can take him."
"Go for it," Sunset said.
Red and Blue nodded to each other before pushing their Kyutama to the side.
"SAI ZA GO!"
The giant Kyutama formed around them before flying into the air and docking into their ships. The teens kept their eyes on the lava monster before several blasts hitting the ground took their attention. When they turned they saw three Tsuyoindavers.
"What are you creeps doing here?" Rainbow asked.
"We are under orders to serve Arabus. Now hand him over," one of the Tsuyoindavers ordered as he pointed his club at the girls.
"We can't let Jark Matter get their hands on the orb," Twilight said.
"But we're all pretty drained after all we did," Rarity said. Her statement was true as the seven girls were looking tired after their battle.
"I'm not," Build announced as he stepped in front of the aliens. "Getting hit by thay energy blast was a bigger charge to my system then actually getting electrocuted. I am good to go," the rider said as he pulled out a brown bottle with a gorilla face and a cyan bottle with a diamond on it.
"Um, how many times have you been electrocuted?" Twilight asked.
"Too many I care to keep track of," Build said as he shook the bottles and placed them in the driver.
"GORILLA!"
"DIAMOND!"
"BEST MATCH!!!"
"Build up" the rider said as he turned the crack. Soon the red on his armor was replaced with brown armor with a large gantlet on his right arm. The blue was replaced by cyan armor with a gemstone-like theme that caused Rarity’s eyes to go wide.
"SHINING DESTROYER, GORILLAMOND! YEAH!"
"The strength of a gorilla, the durability of diamonds. This is a winning combo," Build announced as he struck a pose.
"SAI ZA DOCKING!"
KyurenOh was assembled with Blue and Pink forming the legs and Black and Orange forming the arms.
"KYURENOH!!"
"So that's the Lavan from the story?" Pink asked.
"Yeah and unlike his brother he's at full power," Red answered.
"We need to stop him now before he sets the whole world on fire," Blue added.
"YEAH!" Black yelled as KyurenOh walked forward. Lavan was the giant warrior coming at him, and he spat out a ball of magma. KyurenOh raised its scorpion arm and fired a blast to break the ball of flaming rock. Lavan then charged at the giant robot to deliver a punch that sent KyurenOh stumbling back.
"This guy is strong," Red said as the robot got back into the fight.
"And hot too," Comet added as a thermometer appeared on his screen. "That thing is eating through our heat shielding like Ditzy eats muffins."
On the ground Build was taking good care of the Tsuyoindavers. Using his big gauntlet the rider delivered a mighty punch to one of the aliens. Another Tsuyoindaver tried to attack the rider with his club but he blocked it with his diamond arm. Before he knew it the rider had already punched him across the battlefield. The other two aliens tried to attack him at once, but Build countered by hitting the ground and causing a shockwave that caused the Tsuyindavers to fall.
"I will admit you guys are giving me a challenge," Build said as he cracked the knuckles on his giant fist.
"A single punk like you won't beat elite soldiers like us. Come on guys, let's show him what Jark Matter can really do," one of the Tsuyindavers said. The others nodded as they held up there clubs and fired at the rider.
"Yeah, I was thinking we should finish this up as well," Build said as he turned the crank on the driver.
"READY?! GO!"
"VULTIC FINISH! YEAH!!!"
Build's left hand began to glow with cyan energy as he waved it in front of the balls of fire. As he did the fireballs transformed into shards of diamonds. Build then raised his hand and the shards followed, forming a vortex above him. After a moment he threw up his right arm and the vortex transferred around his large fist. The rider then pulled his fist back before launching a powerful punch that sent the diamond vortex flying at the Tysuindavers. In an instant the three monsters were bombarded with shards if crystal before they all fell to their knees and exploded.
"The laws of victory are set," Build said as he turned around.
"Now that's what I call a dazzling defeat," Rarity said.
She and the other girls watched the fight from the sidelines. However their attention quickly turned to the battle between the two giants. Lavan had started breathing fire onto KyurenOh, forcing it to defend. "I don't know how much longer they can last," Sunset said.
"But what can we do? We can’t fight giant monsters like that," Applejack said.
"Maybe we can combine our powers like before?" Fluttershy suggested.
"I think that might be our only option," Twilight said.
"Oh come on, this is like the third time we've done this. I think we're over doing it with the magic blasts," Rainbow said.
"Do you have a better idea?" Rarity asked.
Rainbow sighed before giving in. They soon start to glow again. "Kyurangers, take our power and use it to defeat Lavan." Twilight said before the girls fired off one last rainbow blast. when the blast hit the giant robot, it started to give off a gold light.
"Hey do you guys feel that?" Blue asked.
"Eeyup," Orange answered.
"It’s the girls' power," Red said. Lavan saw this light and started to step back from the robot.
"Alright guys, let’s show this guy how we deal with ugly monsters like him."
"YEAH!!!" Black yelled as he and the other rangers all pushed their kyutama back twice.
"SUPER GALAXY!"
KyurenOh began to focus the gold energy into its bull arm before performing a punch at the monster. Lavan tried to counter the attack by spitting out a stream of magma, but the bull's horns cut right through it. "Meteor Break!" the five rangers said as the punch landed. The same magic circle as before appeared before the monster burst into a blinding light. Once the light died down the ranger saw that Lavan was gone and a small orb began to fall to Earth.
"We did it, it's finally over," Red said as he finally relaxed after this whole ordeal.
Once the battle was done, The five rangers met back up with the seven magical girls and lone rider. Sunset had successfully retrieved the orb the which held Lavan in the same state as Arabus. "Thanks to us working together, the two elemental brothers are sealed. And I think the seals are even stronger then before," Sunset said.
"That's probably because it was more than just magic that made it," Build said. "You called it Equestria Magic right?"
"Speaking of Equestria, I think there's a vault in Canterlot Castle with your names on it," Sunset said as she looked at the two brothers trapped in the orbs.
"Well, we just beat a huge threat from Equestria and we made a new friend here," Pinkie said as she wrapped her arm around Build's shoulder. "If that's not a reason to party I don't know what is."
Everyone responded to Pinkie's words with a loud groan. "Pinkie, not that I don't want to party, but after what we just went through I think we need a rest." Rainbow said as she fell to the ground.
"Not to mention some of the other Rangers had their shadows stolen from Arabus. I think we should go check if they’re okay," Red said.
"Plus we have a party every other week," Twilight added.
"Alright, but we do need to celebrate this once we're all rested up," said Pinkie.
"Haha, okay we can agree to that," Black said. Once the teens all said their goodbyes they all went their separate ways. The Kyurangers flew off in their ships and Build rode off on his bike.
The next day the a small group of Rangers were all gathered outside of Sugarcube Corner. A fully recovered Sweet Leaf was sipping on her drink as her friends recapped what they had gone through. "Wow, I really missed a lot when I was attacked," Sweet Leaf said.
"Yeah but it's all over now. Sunset said she was going to bring Arabus and Lavan back to Equestria first thing in the morning," Flash said as he took a sip of his coffee.
As they walked down the sidewalk the teens all heard the sound of a motor coming towards them. Turning around the rangers saw a familiar motorcycle approaching them. Axle stopped right next to the Rangers and lifted up his goggles. "How's it going my costumed comrades?" Axle asked.
"Oh nothing much, just hanging out," Comet answered.
"Hey you’re that Kamen Rider that helped out my friends," Sweet Leaf said. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you."
"Well technically we met before. After all I was the one that carried you back to your space ship." Axle said.
"Well thank you for being so helpful," Sweet Leaf said before pulling out a brown paper bag. "The others told me that Old Dog liked tea, so I made a special blend for him."
"Oh thanks," Axle said as he took the bag. "Tea is the only thing that brings a smile on the old geezer's face."
"I really can't thank you enough for what you did. If you ever need help with the Smash, you can alway call on us," Flash said.
"Thanks for offer but not necessary," Axle said as he leaned back on his bike. "Kamen Riders are heroes of justice that fight from the shadows. The battles I fight I have to fight on my own. But if you ever need a fill in I'll come running."
"Hey we were going to hang out at Comet's house, want to join?" Bulk asked.
"Yeah, that sounds great," Axle replied. He got off the his bike and started to walk it next to the group. The teens all smiled as they were going to have fun together and not be heros for a moment.
