In order to preserve the legacy and greatness that was The Alicorn Empire, the Historical Alicorn Society had a time capsule made that would preserve some of the empires greatest achievements and treasures for future generations to come. Unfortunately, the location as to where it was buried was lost to time, and I have yet to get a warrant to start digging up all of Equestria to search for it.
Luckily, everything they put in it is listed in this chapter of the book. I will go over all of them as we go down the list.

Alicorn Meatballs Recipe: Hoofwritten by Gourmet, The empire's top chef. Gourmet was a stern and very serious individual, reowned for his amazing cooking talents. This recipe for Alicorn Empire Signature Meatballs was apparently his crowning achievement.
Small wooden box with a lock of Queen Omnipotence's Mane inside: Queen Omnipotence's mane is described as "Beyond breathtakingly beautiful. An ever flowing river of a trillion colors and dreamlike patterns that brought everypony who saw it on the verge of tears." I would very much like to see that.
Magical Recording Crystal of Queen Omnipotence's voice greeting the ponies of the future on behalf of The Alicorn Empire: This is perhaps the most notable one.
Two Empire Cream Cakes still in their wrapper: Empire Cream Cakes were a signature treat of The Great Alicorn City. A hoof baked mini Chocolate cake with a whipped cream filling. Apparently, Surprise baked and packaged all of them herself.
A Working Alicoprotractor: An Alicoprotractor is an ancient alicorn-made instrument that allows the user to calculate both mathematics and Philosophy. I would very much like this so I can calculate Twilight's math skills as well as pretty much everything else she says.
A Guide On The Alicorn Written Word: The very first language, both written and spoken, was that which Omnipotence and Eclipsa spoke, known simply as The Alicorn Language. This remained the main language until the creation of The Earth Pony, Unicorn and Pegasus Tribes, where the new language became known as "Ponish" Or "Olde Ponish" As its known today.
"Non-Perishable" Bacon: I'm not a hundred percent sure why this is in here. Although The ancient Alicorns were frequent meat eaters, Ponies today? Not so much. In fact I think it's best that this remain a secret. I shudder to think of how Fluttershy would react to it.
Children's Book (Omnipotence & Eclipsa And The Journey To Concordia): Part of Omnipotence and Eclipsa's outreach to their citizens was the creation of this colorful and very well written children's book, detailing the sister's journey to Concordia from their homeworld.
Fake Mustaches: I'm going to guess that these were put in here by Surprise.
A quart of Alicorn Empire Sea Salt Ice Cream: Another favorite treat of the empire, that was also made by Surprise (she really was the pinkie pie of the alicorn empire) and was insanely popular, being one of the empire's chief exports all across Concordia. There was so much at one point, that there may still be some out there.
Duct tape bow ties along with instructions on how to make duct tape bow ties: Probably another Surprise from our friend, Surprise.
Birthday card and recipe for The Ultimate Birthday Cake from Surprise: Okay...now this, this is the thing that I just have to find. When Surprise says its the ultimate cake, she means it. "So fluffy, the cake literally floats off the ground." "The chocolate icing is so silky, that it slides and jumps around in whatever bowl it's held in, as if it's trying to escape." "And the whipped cream topping is so delicious, you'll nearly pass out from the taste alone." Now...imagine if Pinkie Pie baked this cake. She'd never need to bake again.
Timberwolf skull: One of Artemis's trophies. It's significantly larger then a typical Timberwolf skull from today.
Magical Energy Processor: A mysterious translucent crystal that both amplifys and distributes magic.
An Alicorn Blood Sample: A perfectly preserved blood sample to be used for medical science, and the advancement of magical ability.

Alicorn Carrot, Cucumber and Cauliflower seeds: The vegetables that were grown in The alicorn empire, were famous for their huge size and remarkable energizing qualities. They are apparently very hard to grow outside of the empire. But not impossible.
Pack of Alicorn Empire Currency: Before Bits were the traditional Equine currency, The Alicorn Empire used a form of paper currency called "More" ($M$)
