As soon as Pinkie and Haze made it there, they could hear singing. When they got closer to the house, Pinkie and Haze could see a new barn being made. And there was Applejack, Applebloom, and Big Mac was helping build said barn, along with more members of the Apple Family. Even Babs Seed was there! Haze realized it was an Apple Family Reunion. Only Granny Smith wasn't around anymore.
AppleJack was the main one singing!
"Raise this barn, raise this barn. One, two, three, four. Together we can raise this barn, one, two, three, four. Up, up, up, go the beams."
Haze saw Pinkie run to them, and help with raising the barn, even joining along in said singing. He noticed he was bobbing his head in rhythm, to their singing, it was gleefully catchy.
"Come on, Apple Family! Let's get to it!" Sang Applejack.
"Raise this barn, raise this barn, together we can raise this barn. One, two, three, four. Finish the frame, recycling wood, working hard, you're doing good." Applejack concluded, and Applebloom joined in.
"Look at us, we're family. Stick together the pony way! This barn'll be the best in town!" Applebloom sang.
Then as they soon finished building the new barn, all of the Apple Family sang in union: "Being together counts the most, we all came from coast to coast."
As soon as the singing ended, the Apple family members parted doing their own thing, and Pinkie insisted that Haze come over to meet Applejack. He trotted over to the two mares, and was nervous to meet her.
"Greetings, I'm Haze, I didn't mean to come here during a family reunion." Haze said to Applejack.
"Oh, don't worry your furry little head, Sugarcube." Applejack replied. Applejack quickly noticed that this stallion didn't have his Cutie Mark yet. She was almost bewildered, mainly due to him being older, and not having his Cutie Mark.
"Applejack, I was wondering if you needed an extra hoof around the farm? I really want a job, and I am willing to learn whatever it takes to help around here. I can even buck apples from the trees if you needed me too. Or I can do something totally different. It's up to you of course." Haze asked softly.
The farmer mare pondered for a few seconds and nodded. "Sure, Haze. You most certainly can."
Before he could respond, with no warning, the ground began to shake, and pitch black pillars of rock erupted from the Earth, and screams of panic and fear rang out. Evil laughter rang out through Ponyville.
Applejack, Applebloom, Pinkie Pie, and Big Mac stood their guard, looking at the entrance of Sweet Apple Acres. There was King Sombra! Haze felt a sudden fear, as if he personally knew King Sombra, and he stood in line with Applejack and the others. With out him noticing, his body became shiny, and almost transparent, his Mane was then magically redone in a more royal mane cut. He glared at the dark stallion, and was ready to defend anypony and everypony the best he could!
King Sombra laughs darkly, and his laugh sends shivers down everypony who can hear it. Haze's ears lowered, since he didn't really any know strong magic spells, and could do nothing to protect the residents of Ponyville. But he jumped between them and King Sombra, he would rather have himself get harmed, then the others. And doing this made him feel important, and like this was what he was meant to do!
On his flank finally appeared his Cutie Mark appeared! It was a shield, with a dragon design. Haze stood his ground, not caring what his fate may be. Suddenly King Sombra vanished, and all the stones he summoned, were not actually there.
Everypony looked around, and were confused, also shaken by what they saw.
"What in tarnation, do you have any idea, on what is going on?" Asked Applejack.
"Nope." Replied Big Mac.
Applebloom admired the heroic action of the unicorn and trotted over to him. "That was very brave!" She said, batting her eyelids at him in a flirtatious manner.
Haze looked around, and tilted his head, giving Applebloom a small smile in response to her flirting, but he finally noticed he was a Crystal Pony, but his Crystal form vanished, and he looked just like he did before. He also noticed, he finally got his Cutie Mark, but that was the last thing on his mind, for a mare could be seen up on a near by hill. It was Trixie! But she was unconscious, and she had the Alicorn Amulet.
"Trixie?!" Applejack exclaimed.
Haze Rune and the others ran to Trixie. Applejack, Applebloom and Big Mac, were weary of her presence, and felt uneasy that she had the Alicorn Amulet. Of how she got her hooves on it, was a mystery. Trixie shifted lightly, and opened her eyes, and groaned softly.
"What the..." She began, but was cut off by Applejack.
"What are you doing here Trixie? I thought you were staying with Starlight at her old village?" Asked Applebloom.
Trixie looked confused and turned her attention to her neck, seeing the amulet around her neck. "I don't understand, I didn't take the Amulet. I swear." Said Trixie, fear that the others wouldn't believe the truth. She got on all hooves, and shook her head.
"I was with Starlight, but...I honestly don't know how I ended up here." Trixie realized. More concerned about Starlight then herself at this very moment.
"Well, I think I know what needs to be done." Said Applejack.
Big Mac, Haze Rune, Applebloom, Trixie and Pinkie Pie looked to her.
"I think we need to get The Mane 6 back together and figure out what is going on."
Pinkie's eyes widened, and she smiled wide. "Yea! Reunion Party!" Out of nowhere, Pinkie grabbed her party cannon, and shot it off. Confetti and Balloons were shot out of said cannon. Applebloom giggled, and Haze smiled softly. Pinkie was certainly a fun pony to be around!
