When I came to, there were scorch marks all over the ground, several craters, uprooted trees, and two people fighting inthe distance. One was Nu- Yupia, and the other was... Jade? I tell her not to send Umbrella, so she comes herself?
Anyway, you're probably wondering how I'm still alive. Well, my arm is robotic, and can turn into any weapon (within reason,) as long as I've scanned it (by holding it.) And when I take serious damage, my arm retracts, covering my body to heal it. It can heal anything, exept my brain. It's because my brain is connected to my arm, by alien technology, and if anything happens to my brain, my arm stops working. It also needs charged about every three days. That's not everything, but that's the just of it.
"Jade! It's fine! She's cool!" I shouted getting closer.
Yupia hit the ground, and slid to my feet. I then saw a blast of fire coming our direction.
"Ah shit!" I yelled, knowing it came from Jade's spear.
I quickly switched to my shield, and jumped in front of Yupia. And promptly flew twenty yards back as the blast collided full force with my shield. I turned, putting it under my feet, using it like a sled, before stopping. I took off in the direction of Jade, switching back to my hand. Turns out, she was running to find me, and we almost ran into each other.
"Jerry! Are you okay?" She asked.
"I'm fine, is Yupia okay? She's my friend." I answered.
"Yupia? Is your friend? There's no way. You wouldn't keep a secret like that... would you?"
"Wha..? No! Remember Nupes? My friend I talk about ALL the time? Yeah she got cyborg upgrades too, and changed her name. Neither of us has contacted each other in about ten years." I said.
"She's a killer!" Jade rebutted.
"She'll stop! She doesn't like the idea of life in prison." I argued. She took the hint, as I've never argued with her.
"...If you say so. Let's go."
We walked over to her, still out on the ground. Jade kicked Yupia awake, and I shot her a glare.
"Is it okay move?" Yupia asked.
"Yeah. But tfryh not to make any sudden moves, we don't want miss Itchy Trigger Finger over here getting any ideas."
She glared at me, and I gave her the best shit-eating grin I could give. She rolled her eyes.
"I don't even have a gun, Jerry." She replied.
"Oh yeah. Miss Itchy Fan Blade Whatchamacallit Fingers." She backhanded me this time. "Okay, I might have deserved that."
Looks like I lightened the mood a bit. "Okay, thanks guys, but I still have to go check out that rock that Bog was so interested in earlier."
"Hah! As if I'd let you face Bog on your own. I'm going with." Yupia said.
"And if she's going, I am too." Jade replied.
"Jade you have a clan to run." I deadpanned.
"Hey Clan Nemesis can run itself for a few days at least. And someone needs to keep an eye on her." She motioned to Yupia.
There was no arguing this time. I sighed. "Okay, come on, we also need to find out who was fighting through there."
"Oh, that was RG13 and Shura." Jade and I sweatdropped.
"Okaytimetorunbeforetheydestroyanythingelse." I said as I took off running.
Five minutes later we were standing over RG13's mutilated body.
"Shura... couldn't have done this." Jade said as a group of people walked up to us, several of them gasping.
Shura was in that group.
