Twilight looked at Night Sky, the little colt that was once full of hope, passion, and life that were in his eyes were no longer there, they left when the baby blue left, and now replaced by this blood ruby colour that only showed chaos, and destruction. This wasn't Night Sky , this was a monster.
Twilight continued to stare at the creature in till her friends found the three. They did the same as Twilight, they just stared.
"Now it's time to crush your last remaining hope" Nightmare Moon said, she lifted up her front hooves and slammed them down causing them to break. This caused the six mares to stop staring at the creature that they refused to call Night Sky. "Now my son, could you be a dear and show our guests the door" Nightmare said.
"We shall mother, am giving thou one chance to leave, if you don't we will be showing you out the window" The corrupted Night Sky said as he made his way over to them. As he was a approaching the six mares, Twilight thought of something.
"You think you can destroy The Elements of Harmony just like that? Well, you're wrong, because the spirits of The Elements of Harmony are right here" Twilight said, confusing everypony in the room.
"Thou has clearly lost it" The evil colt said using old Equestrian, thinking that Twilight has gone mad.
Twilight ignored the comment on her sanity. "Applejack, who reassured me when I was in doubt, represents the spirit of... honesty!" Twilight said, as Applejack was lifted up into the air, glowing whilst rock shards spun around her.
"Fluttershy, who showed kindness to a pony who was called a monster, represents the spirit of... kindness!" Twilight said, as the same thing happened to Fluttershy.
"Night Sky, even if he can't remember who he really is still believed that he would be with his family once again, and always hoping for the best, represents the spirit of... hope!" Twilight said, which caught everypony by surprised, the same thing happened to Night Sky as Fluttershy. His eyes slowly faded back to their normal baby blue colour, and the horn that was made out of a sort of black energy changed colour as the same as his coat and stabilized.
The same thing happened to the others. "Even with six of the elements you still can't beat me forever, the spark didn't work" Nightmare said, looking slightly afraid, even without the seventh element they could still send her to the moon for another thousand years.
"But it did! A different kind of spark. I felt it the very moment I realized how happy I was to hear you, to see you, how much I cared about you. The spark ignited inside me when I realized that you all... are my friends! You see, Nightmare Moon, when those Elements are ignited by the... the spark, that resides in the heart of us all, it creates the sixth element: the element of... magic!" Twilight said, she was lifted up into the air as the element of magic appeared above her, with her eyes closed.
Twilight opened her eyes, and a beam of harmonic energy was shot at Nightmare Moon and surrounding her as he screamed. Everything then went white.
As the light faded, everypony was on the fall. Six mares started to get up, groaning as they did. "Does Everypony know where Night Sky is?" Fluttershy asked, concerned for the colt that was placed in her care. The mares had already figured out what the jewelry they were wearing was, but was too busy looking for the Pegasus colt to care.
A groan caused the mares to look to their right, and there on the ground was Night Sky, he had a cobalt crown with a white jewel in the shape of a crescent moon. He opened his eyes and groan. "Did anypony get the number of that Chariot?" Night Sky said, he got to his hooves, and his mane shifted out of the way to reveal the top of a stubby little horn that went nopony noticed.
"Nighty am glad your okay darling!" Rarity said using the little nickname that she gave him.
"Indeed he is" A benevolent voice said, everypony turned towards the direction of the voice and saw the sun rising, Celestia then appeared as if she came out of the sun.
"Princess Celestia!" Twilight said, seeing the pony who she saw as a second mother. Everypony bowed quickly to the Sun Princess, as Twilight nuzzled Princess Celestia.
"Twilight Sparkle, my faithful student. I knew you could do it" The Princess said with Pride, as she looked at her student.
"But... you told me it was all an old pony tale" Twilight stated sounding kind of confused. As she talked Celestia monitioned for Night Sky to come forward.
Night Sky was behind Celestia when she walked over to where Nightmare Moon use to be, a blue alicorn with baby blue mane and tail, her eyes were the same colour, and her cutie mark was a white crescent moon surrounded by black. "I told you that you needed to make some friends, nothing more. I saw the signs of Nightmare Moon's return and I knew it was you who had the magic inside to defeat her, but you could not unleash it until you let true friendship into your heart. Now if only another will as well. Princess Luna!" Celestia said, as the blue alicorn froze, Celestia knelt down in front of alicorn, now known as Princess Luna.
"It has been a thousand years since I have seen you like this. Time to put our differences behind us. We were meant to rule together, little sister." Celestia said as she warped one of her wings around her sister. "Will you accept my friendship?" Celestia asked, looking at Luna in her tear stained eyes.
"We are so, very sorry! We have missed thou so much, Celly!" Luna cried, as she buried her head in her sisters mane.
"I've missed you, too Lulu, and I think once we leave it will be time for somepony to return, look behind you he may barely remember you but am sure you remember him" Celestia whispered the last part to Luna.
Luna stood up and turned around to see Night Sky, the memories of her time as Nightmare Moon came back to her. "We are sorry little one for what we did to thou, it seems we became the one thing we hate the most, a foal abuser" Luna said, she sat down on the stone floor and she looked down at the ground, quietly crying.
Night Sky slowly walked up to her and nuzzled her, which caused Rarity and Fluttershy to 'aw' at how cute it looked. Luna looked at the colt in confusion. "It's okay I forgive, it wasn't your fault, you weren't in control, and even if I just met you I can already tell that your too nice to be a foal abuser" Night Sky said as he smiled up at the lunar princess.
"We thank thine, so much" Luna said, as she hugged the colt with her wings and he hugged her back as he wrapped his front legs around her.
After a while the group of nine made it to Ponyville, the town happily welcomed Luna with opened arms, Celestia allowed Twilight to stay in Ponyville to study the magic of Friendship, but before they left.
"Night Sky, there is something I need to show you in Canterlot, would you be willing to come?" Celestia asked, the colt who still hasn't realized that he is a alicorn.
"Sure, no problem Princess" Night Sky happily said. He tried to get into the chariot but ended up falling and causing his element to come off. Before either the two could hit the ground, a blue aura surrounded the two, lifting Night Sky beside Luna and gently placing his element on his head. Night Sky looked up at Luna to see her horn stop glowing, and seeing her smile down at him.
"Thank you Princess Luna" Night Sky thanked her, making her smile even more. When Celestia stepped into the chariot and sat down, they left for Canterlot Castle.
