The Adventures of The Dash

Jailhouse Talk

The jailhouse wasn’t too far away from where she lived which was Celestia and Luna’s house, but ever since her father had died so many years ago they had taken her in, mostly though it was Celestia with her overprotective nature, Luna however was kinder and more understanding, she could relate to people more on a much deeper more intrinsic level that Celestia just didn’t quite have.

She seemed to always know and understand what Rainbow Dash was going through and she was always
there to help others no matter what happened.

But as Rainbow Dash ran to the jailhouse she felt slightly uneasy and odd and very different, but she pushed aside this thought and idea, maybe it was something that I ate, she reasoned to herself as she slowly approached her destination. Yeah, that must be it, or perhaps it could be something else instead, something completely different and unexpected and new to her.

But she didn’t have time to question what she felt as she went up the stairs and entered going up to the clerk and depositing all of her valuables and other stuff and things because she knew the whole entire drill well enough by now that she had memorized it in great detail. And they also had memorized her too since they always seemed to expect her for her scheduled visit whenever she could come over. And so it was that she entered the visiting room and soon enough her mother was brought in and then she took her seat and picked up the phone and smiled through the glass, “Hey there Dashie,” Eleanora said.

“Hey there mom,” she said smiling at the cute little nickname that she used when she was young, “It sure is nice to see you after all this time.”

“Yeah, you too, what happened exactly? I mean I heard that there was an accident on the news and media and that you got stuck with lightning and that you have been in a coma for nine months, but what happened to you exactly?”

“I think that Lightning Dust could answer that because she’s the real one that has been taking care of me apparently, but I’m fine now as you can see.”

“Yeah well make sure that you stay that way, I wouldn’t want to lose my daughter after she just woke up
from a very long nine-month coma.”

“Yeah, I guess so, and I have a lot of time to make up too.”

“Yes, you do, and so do we, I just hope that we can someday,” she said.

“Mom, I know that you didn’t kill dad, you would never do something like that, I mean you can’t bring yourself to hurt an animal much less my dad.”

“I know honey,” she said, “But you just have to hang in there Dashie, you just have to hold on and wait, can you do that for me Dashie? Can you do that?”

“Sure thing mom, anything for you,” Rainbow Dash said putting her hand on the glass and waiting for her mom to touch it which she promptly did.

“My little Dashie, I’m so proud of you, so glad that I had the opportunity and chance to be your mother
even if for a short little time.”

And with that said they cried and an officer coughed signaling that their time was coming to a close and end. “Well then,” Rainbow Dash said wiping her tears away, “Maybe I could tell you some more later sometime very soon?”

“I would like to hear that,” her mom said smiling, “But until then stay safe and strong, be brave, and don’t let your fears or the past hold you back either.”

And with that said her mom smiled one last time, hung up the phone, and then was slowly escorted back
to her cell. Rainbow Dash hung up the phone too eventually and then left making sure to get all her stuff and things and then she decided to go back home again. But on her way there something happened, and this time it wasn’t just a trick of her mind, because one moment she was just jogging along lightly and then the next she was at her old high school, and then she was at the mall, and then the police station, and then the labs.

What’s happening to me? She thought as she collapsed on the pavement.
