"My name is Ember Phoenix" the stallion said now know as Ember Phoenix. Ember seemed a little bit scared of being the center of attention.
"Not to sound rude or something, but why are your eyes like cats? Does that mean you have nine lives?" Pinkie said as she put her face against his, Ember stepped back a bit seeming scared of Pinkie Pie.
"Um... The reason my eyes are like this is because I happen to be part... phoenix" Ember said as he cowered to the floor.
"That is awesome!" Rainbow exclaimed.
The group that was once a group of six became a group of seven, since Ember decide to join them on their quest through the EverFree Forest.
"No" Rarity stated. "My eyes need a rest from all this icky muck" she complied about the mud. "Well, I didn't mean that literally" Rarity said as a cloud of mist surround the group.
"That ancient ruin could be right in front of our faces and we wouldn't even know it" Twilight complains. A crash could be heard, and the sound of two ponies trying to get up could be heard.
"Sorry Applejack, I wasn't looking" Ember apologies to Applejack as he got up and picked up her hat.
"It's okay Sugarcube, it's not your fault" Applejack said, as Ember gave her back her hat. She put her hat back on.
Ember turned around and came face to face with a Tree with a scary looking face. When Ember screamed, Twilight noticed several things wrong with him. First off his scream was too high for it to belong to him, his appearance seemed to change for a split second, and he seemed smaller?
After some time going through the EverFree Forest they reached the castle ruins. The group entered the castle and found a pedastal with six stone orbs on it.
"Hey Twilight I just remembered that you didn't tell us why she wanted Night Sky" Rainbow said remembering that Twiligh forgot to tell them.
"Well you see Rainbow, legend says that Nightmare Moon wasn't all that bad, she even had a son, and historians have claimed that he kind of looks like Night Sky, but with a horn, and from what Nightmare said they also must share the same name" Twilight stated as if it were a matter of fact.
"Okay ya'll lets go get them elements" Applejack said as she looked at the other five mares, but then she noticed what was wrong, she was looking at five mares which also should have a stallion with them. "Where did Ember go?" She asked looking around for the odd looking stallion.
"I knew he was bad, he just ditched us!" Rainbow exclaimed, angry at the stalion who left them to Nightmare Moon's non-existing mercy.
"Forget about Ember, we need to get the Elements down from there" Twilight said wAntingham to get this done and over with.
The mares got all the elements down, and left Twilight for a while so she could figure out how to activate them. As she thought she successed, a swirling mass of dark energy surrounded the stones. Realising that it is a teleportation spell, Twilight dived at the elements and disappeared into a another room of the ruined casthe as the others came in.
Once the spell was over Twilight saw Nightmare Moon standing in front of twiching Night Sky who had his head down, and a horn that looked like it was made out of dark magic which was trying to make itself stable. The elements of harmony surrounded the two in a circle.
"What have you done to him!" Twilight shouted at Nightmare Moon, worring what was wrong with Night Sky.
"Me? I did nothing to him, I just showed him who he really is, why don't you tell her?" Nightmare said sounding as if Twilight insulted her.
Night Sky slowly lifted his end, and a pair of blood ruby cat eyes met her magenta one's. "We are Prince Night Sky, prince of the night sky, and son of Nightmare Moon" Night Sky said in the Canterlot Royal voice.
