At a rustic summer camp called Camp Everfree, the students of Canterlot High attended a week long session at the camp.

It was supposed to be a week of fun nature activites, but apparently things took a different turn.

Strange magic surges around camp had affected the Humane 7, giving them superpowers.

All of this came from a magic crystal cave in the forest where the head counselor, Gloriosa Daisy found some magical geodes and wore them as a necklace to give the campers 'the best week of their lives' because the camp was getting close to foreclosure due to Gloriosa falling behind on payments and businessman Filthy Rich wanting to turn it into a spa.

When Sunset Shimmer and Sci Twi tried to convince her that the geodes were evil, she ignored them completely and soon absorbed the geode's magic.

Within minutes, Gloriosa had turned into an evil plant-like demon called Gaea Everfree and she was intent on protecting her beloved camp, even if it meant putting the lives of her campers in jeopardy.

Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy were helping save the campers with their newfound powers.

Gaea yelled, "No one can stop me!!!!"

"No Gaea!"

Turns the whole battle was being watched at a superhero organization called the Super Human Intelligence Team (or S.H.I.T. for those who have dirty minds)

"Dr. Monoscope, you've gotta see this!"

The leader of the organization, Dr. Monoscope, was a man in his mid-forties. He wore all black, had mad scientist goggles, and an armband with the organization on it.

For 20 years, he had recruited superheroes to his organization to save the world. Recently, he had been down on his luck because most of his previous recruits had died in cape-related accidents. The surviving teams were too busy out saving the world.

Dr. Monoscope was looking to recruit new members so his organization could return to its former glory. His employees tried to convince him to let it go, but he wouldn't budge.

Dr. Monoscope looked at the worker watching the movie and said, "Alvin, what are you watching?"

Alvin, the worker watching the movie said, "I'm watching this awesome video about this plant monster destroying a summer camp and these teenage girls with superpowers saving the day."

Another worker said, "Apparently, these girls have 'Equestrian Magic' do you want to watch with us?"

"You could find new recruits in this video." said Alvin.

Dr. Monoscope asked, "Do they have capes?"

"No sir, they don't have capes. But they do have magic."

Dr. Monoscope said, "I guess I could watch them for a few minutes."

On the video, Sci Twi had just defeated her inner demon Midnight Sparkle.

"I am Twilight Sparkle!"

There was a big flash of light and the humane 7 were now wearing their super pony outfits.

"Boss look, the girls are using some blast to defeat Gaea Everfree!"

Indeed, the girls defeated Gaea Everfree and recieved necklaces from the magical geodes.

Dr. Monoscope said, "Were there any sign of powers before Everfree?"

Alvin looked at a list he pulled up, "The girls have been 'ponying-up' a lot this past year, and the one named Twilight Sparkle had a demon form that caused chaos at a high school prom this past spring."

Dr. Monoscope said, "Bring me those girls. I think we just found our newest superhero team."

(theme song starts playing)

It was a few days after the girls left Camp Everfree and they were hanging out on the steps of Canterlot High talking about their new powers.

Pinkie Pie was so excited she was jumping up and down, "I can't wait to show off my exploding sprinkle power to my sisters! They'll love it!"

"My superstrength will be great for farm work." Applejack added.

Rainbow Dash said, "Yeah! And my superspeed could get me a scholarship for track & field!"

Sunset quickly calmed her friends down.

"Guys I know we're all excited about our new powers but we have to learn that with our powers comes great responsibility. Someone could get hurt because of us."

Sci Twi added, "I learned that the hard way and I don't want the same to happen to you guys."

The school bell rang and everyone ran inside.

Inside, everyone was talking about what happened at Camp Everfree and applauded the girls when they came in.

Lyra said, "You guys were awesome at camp!"

"You guys sure showed Gaea Everfree!" Bon Bon chimed in

Bulk Biceps popped his head in from the hallway, "You guys are like the female Avengers!"

Sunset told everyone, "Guys it was no big deal. The magic probably found some way into our world and absorbed us. The best thing for us now is to lay low and hope no one tries to hurt us."

On those exact words, Vice Principal Luna announced, "Will Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie please report to my office immediately?"

Everyone looked at the girls.

"Aww fuck."

The Humane 7 trudged over to Celestia's office and sat down on the bench outside.

Luna said, "You girls may enter. There is a man here who wants to see you."

The girls went inside and saw Dr. Monoscope standing with Vice Principal Luna.

Sci Twi asked, "Why did you call us here?"

Luna replied as she got up from her desk, "Don't ask me, ask Dr. Monoscope."

She left the office.

Pinkie Pie asked, "What are we here for?"

Dr. Monoscope said, "Girls, my name is Dr. Monoscope."

He pulled a lever and soon he and the girls were in a strange looking superhero conference room.

"Girls, I am the leader of the Super Human Intelligence Team where I recruit superheros from-"

Rainbow Dash briefly snickered.

Dr. Monoscope saw her and ordered, "Let me finish!"

Rainbow Dash stopped. "Sorry."

"Ever since you girls started to 'pony-up', we've been watching over you and your powers. And with the latest episode at Camp Everfree, we at the Super Human Intelligence Team have decided to recruit as as a team of superheroes to fight crime around the city."

Pinkie Pie said, "We'll take the offer!"

"I'll let you girls talk amongst yourselves."

The girls huddled around each other.

Pinkie Pie whispered, "We're gonna be superheroes! This is the best day ever!"

Rainbow Dash said, "I'll be so much cooler than before!"

"I don't know guys." Sci Twi said, "I'm afraid our powers will hurt somebody and we can't control them. We just got them."

Sunset Shimmer assured her, "Twilight, I know you're scared but it's okay, we have powers too. Dr. Monoscope said it was okay if we didn't know how to control them. He'd help us."

Sci Twi sighed, "Well it can't hurt to try and use them to help people."

"Great."

Dr. Monoscope said, "Girls, have you made your decision?"

All of the girls replied in unison, "We'll take it!"

Dr. Monoscope smiled, "Congratulations girls. You have just agreed to the opportunity of a lifetime."
