Coffee Talk was able to get both her and Sombra to see the train conductor due to her being Ponyville's most famous reporter. They approached the conductor as Coffee Talk spoke "I'm sorry to bother you but we have a bit of a problem. It appears some sort of train is on the same track as us and perhaps intends to ram this train."

The conductor said "another train on the track? let me see." he looked out the window and saw the dark train. His eyes went wide as he said "Sweet Celestia, What the hey?!"

Coffee Talk said "What do we do? If that thing rams us too many times we will die." The conductor turned to the two and thought about the plan.

Finally he said "one of you pilot the train while I try to activate the track change lever ahead of us, that should change the track allowing us to lose the train and then it's smooth sailing to Ponyville." He left for a side exit of the train. Sombra and Coffee Talk tried to decide which one of them would conduct. After a bit of bickering Coffee Talk decided to conduct as she had more knowledge of trains then Sombra. At first it was awkward but eventually Coffee Talk felt like she could prove adequate despite it not being her special talent. The chase lasted for a while with the dark train tried to ram into the train but always missed by mere inches. Finally they reached the track change lever and the conductor pulled it causing the dark train to go on to another track. The conductor walked back to the two as he said "thanks for keeping the train steady. Now it is smooth sailing to.." Just then a dark magic surrounded the conductor's heart and began to give him a heart attack. 

Coffee Talk said "I'll take over the train. you try to save him." Sombra just nodded his head as he tried the dispel the magic around the conductor's heart. The train was getting close to Ponyville as Coffee Talk tried to slow the train down so it could stop at the station. She managed to stop the train at the station albeit slightly overshooting but no pony was complaining. 

Coffee Talk grabbed the conductor and carried him outside saying "can someone get this stallion to the hospital?" many ponies were  confused but relieved to see the missing reporter Coffee Talk alive and well. Coffee Talk handed the conductor to medical staff who preceded to take him to Ponyville's hospital. As the ponies surrounded her with questions and hugs of relief at seeing her alive two voices stood out in Coffee Talk's ears.

A dark brown stallion and a white mare made their way through the crowd until they spotted Coffee Talk. "Coffee Talk?" they said in confusion.

Coffee Talk raced towards them, tears of joy racing down her face as she shouted "MOM! DAD!". She landed in their arms finally reunited with her parents. The three hugged for a minute before Sombra peeked his head out of the train.

"Coffee Talk, is it safe to come out of the train?" The crowd gasped at the stallion before them. While Sombra had his body his red eyes were now green and he had a normal horn thanks to the fact Uber Sombra wasn't in his body anymore. 

The main six approached the train first and Applejack asked "who are you?"

Sombra said "my name is Kingsly Sparklefriend." 

Applejack just looked at him for a second, turned around and said "it's okay, he only looks like that big spooky evil King Sombra." 

Coffee Talk then said "hey Kingsly, how about Applejack show you around town?" Sombra just looked at her with a look of confusion until Applejack grabbed him by the hoof and told him that he needed a tour of the town. 

As Sombra was dragged for a tour Latte Swirl told Coffee Talk "you know it's a relief you found a special somepony after all" Coffee Talk began to blush as her mother continued to ramble over how cute of a couple they'd be. It was then that D. Bean intervened for his daughter.

"Latte sweetie, it's a little too early to say if he is the right stallion for our daughter" he said as he hugged Coffee Talk one more time. Latte Swirl smiled but kept to herself. She know her daughter had found a potential special somepony and even had in mind the wedding but chose not to press matters further.
