navnik ixen grunted as he was thrown to the ground.
"You fall this day abomination!" his attacker yelled charging navnik ixen. Clambering to his feet navnik ixen raised his staff swinging it to knock the attack away.
Connecting the blow navnik ixen spoke into the figure's ear "I will not fall to a Soulfang." he stated calmly. With a white, blinding flash he covered his eyes. "Not this again." navnik ixen groaned.
"So will you attack me like you did my mother, or will you listen?" the figure asked. "And before you ask I am Princess Nidra." the figure stated with slight annoyance.
Looking at Nidra navnik ixen stated "no, I will not." navnik ixen paused looking at the ground. Looking back up he continued "truthfully I should not have attacked your mother, I should have been prepared to attack, but learn more about her first." he wrapped up crossing his arms.
"Well that's nice." Nidra informed him. "I'd prefer not to do too much." she continued, wiping down her dress.
"But, it is costumary for two warriors to test their metal aginst each other." navnik ixen stated blankly, before continuing "will you do me this simple honor?" He asked giving a slight bow.
"Oh very well." Nidra stated with a obvious groan. Turning to navnik ixen she summoned a silver short sword.
Scoffing navnik ixen spoke up "You may want some armor.". Turning into a crimson most he emerged with both shiny black and crimsion armor and blade. "Just don't run like your mother.". Saying no more navnik ixen moved to a battle stance.
"I'd prefer not to do this but here we go." Nidra stated raising her sword arm, while starting to glimmer in a bright, silver light. Moving forward Nidra appeared in black and silver plate armor. Looking up her new appearance stunned navnik ixen shook his head clearing his mind.
"The armor suites you." navnik ixen complemented. After a few moments he charged roaring. Copying him Nidra charged swinging her blade. "Your form is sloppy and undisciplined, watch your defense, and for the love of my ancestors stop missing me." navnik ixen pointed out in slight agitation.
"It would help if you didn't dodge every attack." Nidra protested before being knocked to the ground. Getting up Nidra gasped as she heard a familiar voice.
"You could do better Nidra." Luna pointed out landing softly on the ground.
"M-mother what are you doing here?" Nidra exclamed in surprise. "You said I could do this my self!" Nidra screamed at Luna.
"And you are, I am merely observing." Luna replied in a calm tone. "Nice job by the way, the guards aren't able to knock so much sense into her." Luna commented turning to navnik ixen as he dispelled the armor and blade.
"I see the resemblance between you two." navnik ixen stated in a flat tone.
"Well thank you, I hope to see you in person soon." Luna replied before turning to see a startled Nidra. Looking at navnik ixen's arm Luna gasped. "What happened?" she asked moving to take a better look at the arm.
"My right of passage." navnik ixen stated. Seeing their confused expressions he continued "My people's coming of age is the replacement os a limb or a eye by cybernetic enhancement.". "My arm improves stength and arcane abilities, as well as allowing me to interface with equipment." He finished pulling up his right sleeve to expose the metal arm.
"Why your arm?" Nidra asked with a shaky voice.
"It's my sword arm, I can hit harder." navnik ixen explained.
"Does Twilight Sparkle know?" Luna asked calming down from her shock.
Looking at his arm navnik ixen shook his head and replied "No, Ms.Sparkle does not know yet." Pausing for a moment he looked back up from his arm while releasing his sleeve, allowing it to drop. "I plan to inform her and her friends in the morning." he finished.
"Speaking of witch it is almost dawn I must lower the moon, until we meet again." Luna stated before the dream disapated. Waking up navnik ixen walked over to his window, in time to see the rising son.
"Perhaps maybe, just maybe." he stated walking to the door.
