More days has passed, since Super 17 effortlessly defeated Trixie. Which included going on a little camp trip, with Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, and the Cmc, which made Scootaloo and Rainbow bond some more. Then Rainbow entered something called a Wonderbolt Academy, and got into a rivalry, with another fast pegasus names Lightning Dust, who reminded him of Vegeta. Applejack has also decided to open a big apple family reunion, which was one of the few things Super 17, wasn't involved in. Then Spike was at Applejack's service, for saving his life from the Timberwolves. Super 17 eventually helped Spike fend off, against a bigger Timberwolf, while making Applejack and Spike even. Now today, the Mane 6, Spike, and Super 17, has been called by Princess Celestia for a meeting, in a field just outside of Ponyvile, except Pinkie Pie, Applejack, and Fluttershy hasn't arrived yet. Super 17 didn't show much interest in the meeting, but came anyway, since Celestia probably called him here as well for a reason. Rarity was spraying herself with perfume, Rainbow Dash tried to ignore the perfume, while Twilight and Spike were waiting for Celestia. Then Pinkie Pie arrived to the scene.
"I love it when Princess Celestia comes to Ponyville! I got my hooves shined just like Rarity for the occasion. Ya like?" Pinkie Pie asked Rarity.
"I certainly do!" Rarity replied to Pinkie Pie. Twilight in the meantime began to get more impatient.
"I'm surprised she's not here yet." Twilight said impatiently.
"I wonder why is it taking so long?" Spike added.
"And i wonder, why i'm a part of the meeting." Super 17 thought to himself. He also eavesdropped Twilight a bit, hearing her talk about an important visitor arriving. Then after waiting a bit more, and hearing the other ponies talk meanwhile, he finally saw Princess Celestia finally arrive, to the meeting.
"About time." Super 17 thought. He then noticed a few guards behind her, dragging a weird statue, which looked like a combination, of many different animals. Spike gasped at the statue.
"Maybe the visitor has a deer antler, a goat leg, a bat wing, and a snake tail!" Spike said in fear.
"Yeah, right. That's Discord." Twilight said, who has not noticed the statue yet.
"Discord? That's a weird name." Super 17 thought. He then saw the other ponies gasp at the statue in shock. "He must have apparently done some horrible things. Since they have so much fear for him." He thought, while Twilight begins to walk over to Princess Celestia.
"With all due respect, Princess Celestia, how could you bring Discord here?!" Twilight almost yelled to her teacher, before correcting herself with a cough. "Your majesty."
"I'm fully aware that the last time Discord was here, he created serious havoc." Celestia said.
"If by "serious havoc" you mean "turning Ponyville into the chaos capital of the world..." Rainbow Dash said.
"And tricking us all into being the opposite of our true selves..." Rarity continued.
"And making yummy delicious chocolate milk rain all over the place without a single dollop of whipped cream to go with it anywhere in sight! Not a single dollop!" Pinkie Pie further continued the description about the statue. Super 17 listened closely, to the things this Discord has done around here. Super 17 wasn't that impressed, since he knew other villains, who has done far worse, than what Discord could ever do. He then glanced over to Rainbow Dash.
"Hey Rainbow. Who is this Discord?" Super 17 asked her, who in respond, floated over to him.
"Discord, is the spirit of chaos and disharmony, and one of the worst, and most powerful villains, ever existed in Equestria." Rainbow Dash said, while telling him about Discord.
"Spirit of chaos and disharmony? Sounds original." Super 17 sarcastically said.
"Yes, I understand. But I have use for Discord's magic if it can be reformed to serve good instead of evil. This is why I've brought Discord here, because I believe that you are the ponies who can help him do just that." Celestia calmly said. But that didn't help the ponies afraid expressions much.
"This will never work! This is a disaster! How will we ever control him?! We're doomed!" Spike said, who was no doubt paranoid, about the idea of releasing him.
"Need I remind you that you are the ponies who turned him back into stone like this in the first place?" Celestia said. She then showed the box, with the elements of harmony. "Besides, we also have a strong ally with us. Somewhat." Celestia said, while glancing at Super 17, and muttered her last words. The ponies calmed down a bit, since they not only have the elements of harmony, but also Super 17 with them.
"I suppose we can just use the Elements of Harmony against him again if it gets out of hand." Twilight said, who decided to go along with Celestia's plan, in somehow reforming Discord.
"Or i could just best him, with my flash bomber." Super 17 suggested with a grin, which made the others sigh at him.
"Super 17, i know you are indeed very powerful. But you shouldn't underestimate Discord's power. He can make almost anything happen, with his power to warp reality." Celestia said, while warning him about Discord. But Super 17 shrugged at it, since he knew about a monster, named Janemba in hell. He could also warp reality, which were much stronger than Discord's.
"But anyway, where is Fluttershy? I believe she may know best how to begin reforming Discord." Celestia continued, while looking for Fluttershy.
"Fluttershy? Really?" Rainbow Dash deadpanned.
Later that day, Applejack and Fluttershy has arrived, where Fluttershy has helped Applejack settle a problem, between her, and an angry beaver. Fluttershy is not really sure, about the idea, that she can pull it off.
"I realize that this is a tall order, but I wouldn't ask if I weren't confident you could get him to use magic obediently of his own free will."
"And... you really think I'll know best how to do that?"
" I do." Celestia said, while smiling to Fluttershy, which made her blush a bit. "Now, I must return to Canterlot for Equestria's royal summit. You may release Discord when ready." Celestia said, before returning to her carriage, and floated off with her guards. The Mane 6 then took on their respective Element of Harmony, which Super 17 recognized, as the same weapon, they not only tried on him, but also a blast from it he absorbed the first time he met them. The Mane 6 then surrounded Discord's statue.
"Okay, ponies, guess it's time to get started. Let's just hope this releasing spell works." Twilight said, while preparing to use the Elements of Harmony. She charged her horn, and all the elements activated, forming a rainbow between them.
"Let's see what happens." Super 17 thought, while Spike hides behind his leg. The rainbow then made contact with the statue, which made the statue a lot more organic than before. The statue's was now brown, his right lion turned yellow, his left bird claw became yellow too, his horns became normal, and a scream came out, until it stopped a few seconds later. The statue known as Discord, was now free, and started by moving his body a bit.
"Oh! Ooh! Ooooh! Well, it's about time somepony got me out of that prison block. What a relief!" Discord said, before snapping his fingers, and made a squirrel nearby, more large and muscular. The Mane 6 gasped, while Super 17 observed Discord.
"What do you think you're doing?!" Twilight asked.
"Nnnnnnnnngh– Why, stretching, of course. When you're a creature of chaos, stone bodysuits aren't your typical go-to fashion choice." Discord said, while stretching his body. He then snapped his fingers, and made a bunny nearby bigger and uglier.
"Make that bunny cute again! Now!" Pinkie Pie demanded, which Discord obviously ignored.
"Oh... He's adorable the way he is." Discord chuckled. He then blew a raspberry at them. "You know what else is adorable? You ponies truly believe that you can reform me, and that you're putting your faith in this one here to make it happen. Makes me wanna pinch your little horsey cheeks..." Discord said, which shocked the Mane 6, due to knowing their intentions.
"How'd you know about that?!" Twilight said curiously.
"Being turned to stone doesn't keep me from hearing every word Celestia says. Although I admit it makes rolling my eyes a challenge." Discord said, before he notices Super 17 nearby, and teleported right in front of him.
"Why, i haven't seen you before. Who may you be, my friend?" Discord said, while eyeballing Super 17... Literally. Super 17 however shrugged at him.
"Just being here for reasons. And by the way, i'm not your friend." Super 17 said openly. He could sense Discord's power level, which was much higher than even Princess Celestia. But he would be no match against his sister, Android 18, without even using her full power, or fight seriously.
"Now that's harsh." Discord said. "Do you know, that you're actually talking to the spirit of chaos and disharmony?"
"And do you know that i actually don't care?" Super 17 countered, which made Discord a bit surprised, that he wasn't afraid of his mighty powers at all.
"Oohhh. We have a brave one here today. Are you actually hiding your fears from me? Or do you wish to challenge me?" Discord said, confident that he could take him on. The Mane 6 looked worried at their talk.
"No." Super 17 said, which made Discord give a smirk to him.
"I thought so." Discord said, thinking that he has won that little fight.
"For if i challenged you, you would have been beaten in an instant." Super 17 thought to himself. Then Discord turned back to the Mane 6.
"Well, unless you want us to turn you back to stone, you'll zap those animals back the way they were, pronto!" Twilight demanded Discord.
"Oh, you wouldn't dare turn me back to stone and risk disappointing your precious princess."
"Try us, "Dip-cord"!" Rainbow Dash insulted him.
"You think you can treat poor defenseless animals like that and get away with it?!" Fluttershy said, while beginning to sound more braver than usual, much to Super 17's slight surprise. Fluttershy then stared deeply at Discord's eyes, which seemed to work at first, but then Discord revealed that he has just faked it, much to the others(except Super 17's) surprise.
"If it turns out we need to use our elements against you, I'm sure we can convince Princess Celestia it was for a good reason!"
"Mmm... I suppose that's correct." Discord said, before snapping his fingers, which turned all the animals back to normal, much to their delight.
"Oopsie! Well, it looks like I know where I'll be crashing while I'm being "reformed..." Discord said, before teleporting beside Fluttershy, and hugged her. "With you, Fluttershy."
"Oh, dear." Was all Fluttershy said, before walking off with Discord, to her cottage. The others now looked at Super 17.
"Super 17. Why didn't you just punch him, when he teleported right in front of you?" Rainbow Dash asked him.
"Because he wouldn't have survived it." Super 17 joked. Then Twilight looked at him, with a serious expression.
"Look, if Discord goes too far, you will distract him, long enough for us, to turn him to stone." Twilight said to him, without Discord listening.
"Maybe, unless this Discord, proves to be a funny opponent." Super 17 said arrogantly.
"Look Super 17, like Princess Celestia said. You shouldn't underestimate Discord's powers. You have no idea what he will do to you." Twilight warned him. Super 17 however dismissed the threat, by merely snorting.
"That just makes it more interesting." Was all Super 17 said, much to Twilight's annoyance. They then followed Discord and Fluttershy, back to her cottage.
The Mane 6, Discord, and Super 17 were all in Fluttershy's cottage. Discord was making it quite difficult, for both Fluttershy and Angel.
"He may be horrible, but that doesn't mean we have to act the same way. We should at least try to be hospitable." Fluttershy said. She was currently cleaning up the mess, Discord made in his stay. "You don't mind giving up your favorite spot on the couch, do you, Angel Bunny?"
Angel shook his head, clearly minding that Discord is sitting on his favorite spot on the couch. Super 17 watches poor Angel, trying to pull Discord away from his couch, but to no avail since Discord's not moving anywhere.
"Oh, I'm sorry about Angel. Are you alright?"
"Oh, yes. Thank you, Fluttershy, for your concern. If only your pony friends could be as considerate..."
"Don't listen to him, Fluttershy! He's just trying to drive a wedge between us like he always does." Rainbow Dash said, who doesn't trust Discord one bit.
"Now why in the world would I ever try to do a thing like that?" Discord asked innocently
"So we can't unite and use the Elements of Harmony against you, that's why!" Rainbow Dash replied.
"So those Elements of Harmony, can only be used when all 6 of you are united?" Super 17 asked, since he doesn't know much about them. Other than that he absorbed one blast from it. Twilight leaned over to him, while the others were talking to Discord.
"That's correct 17. The Elements of Harmony are run by 6 elements of friendship. Laughter, Honesty, Loyalty, Kindness, Generosity, and Magic. If only one is missing, they are useless." Twilight whispered to 17. Super 17 was slightly confused. Is it really necessary to use 6 users, instead of just 1, for such a powerful weapon? He looked back to the Mane 6, who were still continuing the conversation. A few moments later, Fluttershy's friends decided to walk outside.
"You sure you're okay with this?" Twilight asked.
"I know it's not gonna be easy, but Princess Celestia's counting on me. And... I think I actually know what to do." Fluttershy replied, who wanted to complete her task, in reforming Discord.
"You do?" Twilight asked in surprise. While Angel is still trying to get Discord away from the couch.
" I think the key is to befriend him. Being kind to him and letting him be my house guest is probably the best way to do that."
"And you really think that'll work?"
"I think it's worth a try."
"Okay, but if you need us, all you need to do is whisper "help", and we'll be back here with our elements. Plus Super 17 will support you... Right?" Twilight said, while taking a glance at Super 17, who was sitting on a chair nearby.
"Yeah yeah." Super 17 said uninterested. Twilight ignored it and turned to Discord, who was drinking tee with Angel. "So watch that goat-legged step of yours, pal!"
"Wh-what?! Look at me! I'm practically reformed already." Discord innocently said. The others then walked out of the door, and began to discuss about the situation.
"She's really alright with him staying there?"
"That's what she said."
" Personally, I think we should come up with a backup plan, in case this whole "befriending" business doesn't work out. And i suggest we make Super 17 put him in place." Rainbow Dash said.
"Rainbow Dash is right. This is Discord we are talking about, girls. It wouldn't be a bad idea to have another trick up our sleeves. But i don't think Super 17 can beat him. Sorry Rainbow." Rarity said, a little doubtful that Super 17 can actually beat Discord.
"Why not? 17 defeated Trixie before." Pinkie Pie protested.
"That's true. But this is Discord, and he is much more powerful than Trixie ever were. We need something more sneaky and unpredictable." Twilight replied. But then Twilight got an idea.
"And I think I know just the trick." Twilight said, before beginning to walk back to the library.
Meanwhile inside Fluttershy's cottage. Discord was giving both Fluttershy and Angel even more problems. First he hated some random paper, then he scared Angel by turning into a carrot. And then made her cottage spin around in circles. Super 17 however barely moved the spot. Discord looked at Super 17.
"Now tell me young stallion. Why do you live with Fluttershy? Are you here to be reformed as well?" Discord asked him.
"No. I just needed a place to stay." Super 17 responded. Although he didn't actually need a place to stay.
"Really? But anyway, i haven't gotten a good introduction on you yet. Please tell me your name." Discord asked him. Fluttershy looked slightly worried, that Discord wanted to talk to Super 17. But that made sense, since Discord can be quite curious sometimes, and doesn't know much about Super 17 yet.
"It's Super 17."
"Super 17? Is that a super hero name or something?" Discord asked, while trying to softly taunt him. Super 17 however ignored him, and turned away.
"My name is none of your business." Super 17 said in annoyance. Even through he has lived there for days, he can still be slightly distrustful with others, except for the Mane 6 especially Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, and the princesses.
"How rude. Do you ever have any good manners?" Discord asked irritated. Then he teleported back to Fluttershy.
"Oh well. You on the other hand is very kind, my dear Fluttershy. I always knew that you were the understanding one, not like those nasty friends of yours. Including your monkey friend there." Discord said while pointing at Super 17, which earned him a gasp from Fluttershy.
"My friends aren't nasty! And you shouldn't insult Super 17."
"Well, of course you'd say that. It just goes to show how understanding you truly are. You know, I think Princess Celestia is right when she singled you out as the one who could reform me. You're off to such a good start, I'm seriously considering actually being reformed." Discord said. The small conversation continued, until they few knocks on the door. It was Twilight.
"Fluttershy! Fluttershy, can you hear me?"
"Goodness! I hear Twilight!"
"Fluttershy, what's going on? Are you okay?!"
While they talked, Super 17 felt a few changes around the area. "That's strange. I can feel that the things around here, are beginning to change. I don't know, if this Discord is behind this. I better keep an eye on him." Super 17 thought, while looking at both Discord who was laying on the bench, and Twilight and Fluttershy who were finishing their talk. He heard them talk about, if Discord can truly be trusted. He also heard something about, Twilight's reform spells has disappeared. Super 17 remembered Discord eating some paper a few moments ago, which was probably the reform spells.
" If I'm going to be his friend, I have to start by giving him the benefit of the doubt! Tell you what. Bring all the ponies over for a dinner party this evening, and I'll bet his manners will have really improved by then. I'll even get him to put the cottage back on the ground first."
"Alright. Dinner it is." Twilight sighed.
A few moments later, the rest of the Mane 6 were returning to Fluttershy's cottage, to have dinner with her and Discord.
"Ugh, I can't believe we're having a dinner party with Discord!"
"This evening is sure to be a disaster. Glad I didn't bother wearing my fanciest outfit."
"Fluttershy thinks this is the way to reform Discord and asked us to give it a chance." Twilight said. Then the door to Fluttershy's cottage opened. Revealing Discord in a waiter outfit.
"Oh, our pony guests! We're so delighted that you've come. Please, do come in." Discord greeted with a fancy accent. While a red carpet rolled over. The ponies looked inside the cottage, and saw it was much different than before. It's slightly twirled, is decorated lavishly, with a large dinner table, cushions, and a chandelier. Super 17 was already sitting on the table.
"See what a beautiful job he did helping? Discord set the entire table himself. I'm so proud." Fluttershy happily commented Discord.
"Yeah. Congratulations Discord. You earned a trophy." Super 17 said sarcastically while rolling his eyes. Discord also offered to take their hats, which were the Elements of Harmony. The Mane 5 declined.
"Hang on to your elements, girls. It's gonna be a bumpy night." Twilight warned her friends. They eventually sat on to the table. Super 17 sat beside Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie. While Fluttershy was discussing with the others, Rainbow Dash was talking to Super 17.
"So how was it to have Discord here?" Rainbow Dash asked 17.
"He is quite annoying. And his powers aren't that impressive." Super 17 replied. Then Pinkie Pie joined the conversation.
"Be careful. Discord haven't shown what he can really do yet. Although i found his chocolate rain delicious." Pinkie Pie said. Remembering the good times, where she drinked some chocolate milk, from one of Discord's cotton candy clouds.
"Currently i'm barely impressed. I have known others who were much worse." Super 17 said, much to both Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash's surprise. Super 17 shows no fear at the spirit of chaos, and even mentioning that he knows others who were much worse than Discord. But before they can ask more, a gravy boat appeared beside Pinkie Pie.
"Oh, what a cute little gravy boat you are! Yes you are! Yes you are!"
"That's one creepy little gravy boat if you ask me."
"Oh, come on now, Dashie. You're not even giving this a chance. Like Super 17 for an example. He has given him a chance right?" Fluttershy said, while glancing at Super 17.
"Maybe." Was all Super 17 said. Super 17 hardly trusts Discord, since he has felt strange energies outside. The talk about the reformation of Discord continued. Everyone except Super 17(due to just dodging the upcoming soup) got sprayed by soup. Rainbow Dash eventually stopped it from spraying anymore.
"Fluttershy! Can't you see what he's doing? He's playing innocent with you so you'll never agree to use the Elements of Harmony against him!" Rainbow pleaded.
"Oh, well, that's a bit harsh, isn't it?"
"You see what I'm saying, right, Fluttershy?" Rainbow said, before noticing that Fluttershy's not completely agreeing with her. "Fluttershy!"
"You know what I see? I see that Discord's far from perfect, but I also see none of you giving him a chance!"
"What's gotten into you?! Why do you keep cutting him so much slack?"
"Because that's what friends do."
"We're friends?"
"Why, of course! I can't remember my house ever being this lively before you came along."
"Oh... Well, I've... never really had a friend before." Fluttershy said. Then Angel came out of the window. Angel panicked to them.
"Now is not a good time, Angel. We're having a dinner party." Fluttershy said. But Angel kept panicking.
"Hold up! I-I think he's tryin' to tell us somethin'!" Applejack said suspiciously. Angel did many different things, which they hardly understood. But when he showed the apple, the Mane 6 quickly understood his meaning.
"Oh, oh, oh! Sweet Apple Acres?"
"Flooding at Sweet Apple Acres! And we all know who's behind that now, don't we?!" Rainbow Dash said accusingly to Discord.
"Who, me?"
"Oh, give it a rest! What do you think of your "friend" now, Fluttershy?" Rainbow Dash said, while all the Mane 5 except Fluttershy and Discord left. Super 17 decided to follow them.
"See ya later Shy." Super 17 said. He then left the door.
The Mane 6, Spike, and Super 17 has arrived to Sweet Apple Acres. And just as predicted, it was completely flooded with water. The rest of Applejack's family were floating on apple baskets.
"'I've never seen the floodin' this bad! They've built dams 'round here before, but never like this! "
"So that's the energy i felt outside. I knew something was a little fishy." Super 17 said, which earned the surprise from the ponies.
"Wait. You knew all the time, that something fishy has been going on?!" Twilight asked in surprise. "Why didn't you just say so?"
"Because it would be fun to see your faces." Super 17 grinned, while earning a slight glare from Twilight and Applejack.
"You see Discord's behind all this, right?" Rainbow Dash said.
"Oh, of course I do! Do you all think I'm a silly, gullible fool?" Fluttershy asked in annoyance.
"Um, well..."
"Uh... uh, no, not exactly..."
"A little." Super 17 said honestly, which made the others glare at him a little.
"I've just been trying to gain his friendship any way I can, so he'd come to trust and listen to me!" Fluttershy said in plead. Then Discord arrived, while water skiing.
"Hey there, Fluttershy, you want a turn? The water's great!" Discord said.
"Time to see if it worked." Fluttershy said, while flying towards Discord.
"Fluttershy, oh, there you are. A sight for sore eyes."
"As you can see, there's a big mess down here at Sweet Apple Acres."
"Oh, yes. Awful business, that. Mm."
"It is awful. This is Applejack's home, and it's being destroyed by innocent creatures who would never be acting this way if it weren't for your reckless behavior. You need to fix this." Fluttershy pleaded Discord.
"Oh, yes, very well, I will fix it. I only ask one thing in return."
"Yes?"
"I ask that you never use your Element of Harmony against me. As a sign of our friendship." Discord said, which made the other Mane 5 shocked. Fluttershy responded by immediately taking off her Element of Kindness.
"I will never use my Element of Harmony against you." Fluttershy swore, much to the other ponies shock.
"I have a bad feeling about this." Super 17 thought, a little unsure what will happen next.
"Excellent!" Discord said with a smirk. He snapped then his fingers. But to the ponies shock, instead of the farm being turned to norma, it has instead been turned into an ice area. "There, much better! I do prefer ice skating to water skiing! Don't you?"
"Discord! That's not fixing it! Why, I oughta..." Fluttershy said in slight anger. Now Super 17 had enough of Discord's humor, and finally decided to end this chaos.
"Allow me Shy." Super 17 said, while walking to the skating Discord.
"What... What are you doing?" Fluttershy asked in surprise.
"I'm putting an end, to this chaos spirit." Super 17 said, much to all the ponies shock.
"Are you crazy?! Do you actually think that you can take on the spirit of chaos and disharmony?!" Twilight yelled in shock. The others were also shocked at Super 17's decision in possibly fighting Discord.
"Dude. Allow us to do it. We have the Elements of Harmony!" Rainbow Dash pleaded to him in concern.
"I have faced worse." Super 17 replied. Then he stood towards the still skating spirit of chaos.
"What do you want?" Discord said uninterested. "Please leave, i'm busy with my work."
"If someone's leaving, it's gonna be you." Super 17 simply said, much to Discord's surprise. Then Discord laughed at Super 17's little warning.
"Ho ho ho ho! And who will stop me? You? No one has beaten a Draconequus before." Discord arrogantly said.
"Then that's a record, that will be broken today." Super 17 said with a grin.
"And how will you do it? Punch me up in the sky, like i'm some sort of..." Discord said sarcastically, before getting punched up in the air by Super 17. The ponies looked shocked, that Super 17 actually punched Discord.
"Okay... That was awesome." Rainbow Dash said in surprise. Then Discord teleported back to Super 17. Now he looked quite angry.
"Shy may have promised not to hurt you anymore. But i didn't." Super 17 said.
"I gotta admit, that you are actually stronger than you look. But that won't help you." Discord said. He then made some cotton candy clouds appear, and send them directly towards Super 17. They exploded once they hit Super 17.
"Now. Let that be a warning to those who opposes the..." Discord said, before his jaw dropped, seeing that Super 17 was completely unharmed by Discord's attack.
"What?! It was supposed to damage you."
"Was it? Gee i didn't know. Maybe i forgot to feel it." Super 17 taunted him. Discord easily fell for it.
"You dare mock me?! Then take this!" Discord yelled. He created a large rock, and send it hurling towards him. But to everypony's surprise, the rock fell apart when it just made contact with him.
"My turn." Super 17 said. He quickly teleported in front of Discord, and lightly punched him in the gut. Although Super 17 heavily suppressed his power, the punch gave Discord heavy injuries. Discord was send flying to a rock, and crashed there. Discord was rubbing his stomach in pain.
"That hurt... That really hurt!!!" Discord yelled. He then teleported in front of Super 17, and started to both punch and kick him numerous of times. The ponies covered their eyes.
"Poor Super 17. I hope he's" Pinkie said, but when she looked toward them, she actually jaw dropped. "... Alright?" To the ponies surprise once more, Super 17 was easily blocking Discord's punches and kicks, with only his feet, while having his arms behind his back. While Discord actually struggled to hit him, Super 17 was barely trying to block his attacks.
"Come on Discord. Impress me. I'm not even using my hands." Super 17 taunted. That made Discord even more angry.
"Oh yeah! Then let's see what happens, when i turn you into your opposite self!" Discord yelled, he then quickly teleported in front of Discord's face, and tapped 17's forehead. The Mane 6 were shocked at what Discord's doing. He's trying to turn Super 17 into something else.
"Oh no! I don't wanna imagine if Super 17 gets turned into... I don't know, a coward or something. We gotta help him!" Rainbow Dash yelled in shock. While the others were nodding in agreement, Fluttershy was reluctant to help.
"Come on Shy. Let's blast Discord back to stone!" Rainbow Dash yelled. But Fluttershy was still reluctant.
"I'm sorry, i can't. I promised not to use my element on him." Fluttershy pleaded. Although Discord has used her the whole time, Fluttershy was still keeping her promise.
"But Fluttershy. If we don't help 17, we might lose him." Rainbow Dash yelled in concern. She has actually grown to see Super 17 as a good friend. The others not as much, but still saw Super 17 as a good friend, despite his arrogance and confidence.
"Girls! Look!" Pinkie Pie yelled, which made the ponies look back to Discord and Super 17. And to their shock, Discord kept tapping Super 17's forehead. Discord was incredibly confused. Why doesn't his chaos magic work on him?
"Why is it not working? Why is my chaos magic not working?!"
"I don't know, you are the spirit of chaos. Or are you just the prototype?" Super 17 grinned while taunting Discord. Super 17 then kicked Discord in the head instantly, which was so fast that not even Discord saw it coming. Discord was sent flying once more, but before Discord could hit a nearby tree or something, he was caught by Super 17, who was now taking a grip on his throat.
"Do you know a game called "basketball"?" Super 17 asked amusingly. Discord weakly shook his head.
"I thought so. You just need to throw a ball, just like i'm throwing you." Super 17 said, while throwing Discord toward the ice field. Discord hit the snow, and looked heavily injured.
"How powerful is Super 17?" Rarity yelled in shock. The ponies were now shocked, that Super 17 could even defeat Discord, without even trying. Super 17 then teleported towards Discord, who was actually for the first time, cowering in fear.
"Stop! Please stop! I surrender!" Discord pleaded. But 17 barely moved by his plead, held him in the throat again.
"Why? I thought you liked to play. Guess i was wrong. Anyway, i think you have caused enough trouble here in Equestria." Super 17 said, while charging a ki blast from his hand. Fluttershy gasped, and quickly flew towards Super 17 and a badly injured Discord.
"No. Super 17, please stop." Fluttershy pleaded, while floating between Discord and 17, who stopped charging his ki blast. "Look Super 17, i know Discord has done bad things, but destroying him will make you no better than him. So please, let him go. For me." Fluttershy said pleadingly. Super 17 felt his emotions run on him again, and dropped Discord to the ground.
"Fl... Fluttershy. Why are you protecting me?
"Because Discord, like i said that's what a good friend does."
"A... Good... Friend?" Discord said in surprise. He thinks a little, and is surprised how friendship actually works. And to everypony's surprise, Discord snapped his fingers, which made everything completely back to normal. "Fluttershy... I'm sorry." Discord apologized, which surprised the Mane 6 even more.
"It's alright, i forgive you. You apologize too, right Super 17."
"Fine. Sorry for beating you up." Super 17 said uninterested.
Later that day, Princess Celestia has returned, with Discord fully recovered. Princess Celestia was actually surprised that Super 17 could even best the likes of Discord, but eventually let it slide for now, to congratulate the Mane 6.
"Yes, Princess, I'm ready to use my magic for good instead of evil. Most of the time." Discord said, which made the Mane 6 a little uneasy, while Super 17 was glaring at him.
"Congratulations on your success, ponies. I definitely sense a big change in Discord." Celestia said, before leaning over to Twilight. "I'll leave the Elements of Harmony with you, Twilight. Just in case." Celestia whispered to her student. That little sentence made Discord uneasy.
"That. Or we can make Super 17 watch him." Rainbow Dash said mischievously. That made Discord quickly hide behind Fluttershy in fear, while glancing toward Super 17, who was smirking at him.
"I commend you for being quite good... A good punching bag." Super 17 joked. Rainbow Dash Applejack and Pinkie Pie couldn't hold their laughter back, and cracked up at his joke.
"You were right when you said Fluttershy would be the one to find the way to reform Discord. By treating Discord as a friend, she got him to realize that friendship was actually important to him. And something that, once he had, he didn't want to lose." Twilight said, seeing Fluttershy as one of the best reformers, who has ever existed.
"Go on. Say it..."
"Alright." Discord groaned. "Friendship is magic." Discord quickly said, while getting a smile from Fluttershy.
"See? He can be a real sweetheart once you get to know him." Fluttershy said. Then Discord teleported away(probably for Fluttershy's cottage). Then Princess Celestia glanced to Super 17.
"By the way 17, there is also another reason why i have arrived here."
"Why?"
"The memory spell for you... Is complete."
