    I didn't watch the movies

    ... but after spending all day reading TV Tropes and catching up on pony stuff, I think I have a crush on Fizzlepop Berrytwist.

    Which I mean is perfectly fine, except for the fact that I never seem to have the energy to do anything creative anymore like write a fixit or a meet-cute or something so I can play Self-insert Sue and have my fantasy in public. But anyway.

    Oh, well that's why

    So I think I have an idea why I can't get back into writing A Sky of Light, even though I want to. It's explicitly a teaching story, but I haven't been able to describe what I want to teach. So if I want to continue it, I probably ought to focus on writing an outline instead of waiting for the (terribly silent) audience to ask what it is they want to know about dreamwalking.

Thinking about a new fic, even though I haven't yet finished my previous one. Here's the premise that came to me a little bit ago:

"500" - Everyone thinks alicorns are special, that there are only ever two of them. But what if there were over 500, and only a very few were special? Why do we only ever see one or two? Meet Dancing Stars, and find out.

I've pretty much got my notes together for The Principles of Magic, it's just a matter of writing things down now. And once I've got the next couple of chapters cleaned up and ready to ship, maybe I'll start on this one.
