D&S Part Seven Up, Second Thoughts is not. · 10:01am Nov 9th, 2012
Hey all,
So I was planning to type up a rather shorter Part Seven, which turned out rather well at around 2,400 words. So I ran it part my editor (who I swear I will canonize if it is ever within my power), and one of the more significant issues raised was, essentially, "You left the reader with a bunch of questions. Is it really such a satisfying end with all these unresolved questions hanging around?"
So I looked at it, and I looked at the plotline, and I was like: "You know what, I answer a fair number of these questions at the start of Part 8 anyway. Why don't I just bring the first part of part 8 forward?"
So, long story short, Part 7 is posted later than intended, BUT... you, the reader, get around 4,600 words, and (gasp) some answers.
As to Second Thoughts: barring some hyper-efficient snack-fueled writing frenzy tomorrow, I am unlikely to post it before Season 3 airs on Saturday.

I must say, I deeply enjoyed your story as well. It is so very nice to see a darker, mystery-style story done with both character intrigue and a captivating plot. So many do seem to lack such, nowadays. Truly, the best indicator of a good story such as Luminous Sky was that I was unable to stop reading it until finished.
As to the featured box... time there is innately fleeting, I think. I too had a similar, brief stint within it.
