I'm going to get hit by Hurricane Sandy this week, ughhh.
I hate hurricanes. Anyway, I'm probably not going to have power the entire week if its bad, so I won't be able to get online.
Therefore, I'll probably be inactive for the next week due to this dumb hurricane. And just when I was getting back into the groove of things.
Just thought I'd post a quick update about my near future.
So yeah, I'll probably be inactive this coming week. Goody. Stupid hurricane.

As one of your fellow soon to be power outers, I'm actually swing this as an opportunity. The Internet is one the main distractions that keeps me from writing. If the power goes out, I can really knuckle down and focus on getting something seriously done.
I've got hard-copy printouts of my current drafts, a fresh notebook, and a pack of pens. All I need is some reasonable assurance that a tree won't fall on me, and I'm golden.

I need to lay off the haiku. I been doing it in public, saying or writing one every 5 to 7 hours (or 5), not adding a seasonal flavor and now I am making counting mistakes. Maybe I should start playing video games again. Been a couple of months... mindless shooter would not have any poetry.
