The stuffs for Chapter 16 are mostly in place, although I had some trouble figuring out a good opening. We do get back to Ponyville a few times to see the perspectives of certain characters, and how they're starting to view the world after their encounters with Trent.
In particular, their growing discontent with the decidedly utopian nature of Equestria.
A certain draconequus couldn't be happier.
By the way - this is a pretty damn good story, and definitely worth a read:
Let me know your thoughts on CH15. This whole segment is getting wrapped up pretty soon, so we can continue with our regularly scheduled plot devices, and get away from any more over-winded dialogue.

After I get through the Fluttershy arc, the scope of the story should be a bit more apparent. It is going to be rather interesting, and should hopefully help answer the question "what does a pony need with a spaceship?"
Answer - the same reason an Element of Harmony needed a sparkly tiara.

I actually have a little scene planned out where Trent is explaining motorcycles to Celestia.
It's a meeting under serious pretenses. Although by the time Luna walks in, she catches them running around an empty dining hall, Trent riding on her back, with Celly making engine noises as they corner around the room. (bonus points when he dismounts, and she leans her leg out like a kickstand)
They both have a lot to say, but they're afraid to talk about it..

Btw, the scene involving the space pirates ship is going to jump back and forth between the CMC/Dinky/Derpy/Pip playing out a very similar scenario.
