War Anthologies Part 7 - The First Crystal War - The Disappearance Of The Crystal Empire. · 11:34pm Feb 2nd, 2017

As Discord’s Reign began, things were in for a rocky time. With Shangri La destroy, Celestia and Luna were forced to go into hiding. Meanwhile, the ponies of Equestria hid from the chaos world that was growing around them.

As the ponies in Equestria went into hiding, the crystal ponies in the Crystal Empire enjoyed and seemingly endless peace. Seemingly as they were unknown to the enemies watching them.

Far in the north, near the edge of the content, there was a small kingdom of penguins. Most would often forget that this kingdom even existed. However, one night that would all changes as a great roar rang outward from this kingdom as all across the entire content were waken upon a great shaking, that shook the entire content. The shaking lasted for only an hour, but it was enough, for all to grow concerned. None knew what it was, only that its origins came from that small kingdom.

King Emerald Teal became greatly concerned on what had caused the shaking. He sent an envoy to check what had happened. Yet upon their return, they told of how the entire kingdom was devoid of all life. There was no destroyed buildings, no blood, no bodies, just clothing filled with ash.

This troubled King Emerald Teal greatly. He became increasingly more concerned with the things around him. He felt that a great evil was rising, but what? He couldn’t trust anypony. His brother was dead, his ally Redsting had deceived him, and now this great evil was rising. He didn’t know what to do. He considered at one point contacting Realta, but soon believed that there was no way Realta would ever forgive him for siding with the Spirit of Corruption. Seeing no way out, he began to close all off.

As the years passed, his son Golden Williams increasingly worried for his father. Golden Williams decided enough. He would throw a party in his father’s honor, to try in some way to pull his father out of this depression.

Golden Williams called on all, he even managed to get in contact with the princesses as well as his infamous brother Blood Diamond. They were obvious a little hesitate about coming out of hiding, but even though they had grown a hatred toward Emerald Teal, they couldn’t let him fall so far.

And so the party was on. However, this is what the evils had been waiting for. Sneaking among the crowds was a strangely familiar stallion. As the party reached its height, the Crystal Empire found themselves under attack by changelings.

Leading the changelings were Queen Chrysalis. She attacked the empire from the outside. Celestia and Luna went out to fight her. This made no sense to them. Why would the Queen of the changelings want to attack to Crystal Empire? The princess fought her long and hard, but soon she revealed to them a dark secret that King Emerald Teal had hide from all.

That in truth Queen Chrysalis was once Queen Chrystal Laylis, the wife of King Emerald Teal. And that she once ruled the Crystal Empire, and that now she wanted it back.

The princesses were not going to have this. However as they were close to finishing the battle and defeating Chrysalis, a great magic pulse went outward and knocked the princesses far from the Crystal Empire. They tried going back, but some sort of forcefield kept them from entering. Minutes passed and the forcefield went down. However, a great light shot outward from the Crystal Empire and it vanished along with all of it’s citizens.

This was a truly terrible moment for all. The princesses and Golden Williams had survived, yet there was more loss to be found out. Blood Diamond lost both of his sons in the invasion and Golden Williams lost his daughter. Meanwhile, the princesses suffered their own loss, yet they would say what or who.

With the disappearance of the Crystal Empire, Discord reign grew greater and larger. As it grew the alicorn continued to hide. They had nowhere else to go. All they could do now was hide.

As time went though, with the alicorns gone, they were soon forgotten by most, if not all. Centuries had passed since the Crystal Empire disappearance, and no alicorn had been seen since then. The alicorns and their great tales, legends that had spanned millions of more than one hundred thousand millenniums, were now disappearing from the history books, like they were never there. All only knew the great evil of Discord and his chaos.

That is until two forgotten alicorns finally found a certain tree………….

Author's Notes: Well I think I hadle it well enough. The hardest part of this was having a reason for the alicorn to be mostly forgotten that when Celestia and Luna do make there return. It is like a legend come true. This also what happened to the Crystal Empire before a certian stallion took over. Speaking of which did anypony noticed the mysterious events that laid in the background. These mysterious events will get a spots in their own stories.

Most of you clearly can figure what the next is going to be about, still don't skip it. Discord isn't the only one playing a major role in the next one. There will be a few surprises.
