Whelp, hype just hit me hard, and I'm more of a Dragon Ball fan than anything else. I do wish they would create a completely original villain, but Brainiac is just as good if not better.

4386135 Fairly certain; he had those glowing rings on his head, not to mention that there were multiple cables attached to his body (especially look at the helmet he's taking off). Besides, speaking story wise, Darkseid as a main villain would be too obvious and kill the 'epic' reveal (although Darkseid may have a big part in the story, or it might just be like what they did with Goro in MKX and he's just there as a playable character and isn't in the story).

Brainiac is likely to be the main villain, but Darkseid is in the roster. but Darkseid would be too obvious as themain bad guy, like with the movies. everyone knows they're building up to Darkseid for Justice League, but that was probably their only option. unlike Marvel, who has dozens of cosmic destroyers to choose from to be the main villain in the MCU but chose Thanos, DC only has the one: Darkseid.
